The Children cheered at the appearance of the figure. Leo looked around, but slowly clapped as he still didn't know what was happening. The figures grin got bigger "Ah! It's always nice to see such smiling faces once more! And some new faces all around!" He said, gazing to Leo's hidden form in the shadows. "I am Balan! One of the Camp Counselors here at our magical hideaway!" He said, bowing to the kids. "And for those that are new at our camp, it's time for a role call!"
He said, pulling out a whistle. Balan blew on it and more Counselors filled the stage. "This is Counselors Sundrop, Moondrop, Mayday, Zuke, Lance, Hakim, and of, my best friend in the multiverse, NiGHTS!" He said, as a flying jester in a purple cap flew across the stage. Leo's mouth dropped, how was this happening? How on earth was this possible? "Was Aunt Hildegard smoking something that's making me see things?" He asked himself "We have a great line up of activities, adventure and magic that await you at your time here!" Balan said, making various images appear from thin air. "We hope that you have a magical time at CAMP WONDERDREAM!!" Balan cheered as fireworks went off. The children cheered for him again before they got up and moved somewhere else...except for Leo.
Instead, the blonde haired boy waited for everyone to leave so nobody caught him this time. "There's no way this is possible...maybe this just some hoax for money..." Leo Thought as he ran back to the woods, however, they seemed more denser than when he first entered. "OK, there has to be some way back to the city...somehow.
Meanwhile, Back at Camp...
The Counselors had been taking roll of the many children that had come to Camp this year, and there were double as many as last year.
"...Luke Triton?" "Here!" "Gregory Fazbear?" "Here!" "Cuphead, Mugman and Chalice?" "Here! Here! Here!" "Lili Zanatto?" "Here! (Duh...)" "Yinu Natura?" "Here Mr Counselors!" " Molly Blyndeff?" "Here!" "Billy Hatcher?" " Here!" "Claris Sinclair?" "Here!" "Mei Lee?" "Here!" "Leo Craig?" "..."
Silence met Counselor Zuke as he cleared his throat "Ahem...LEO CRAIG!" He shouted, silence met him again. "Um Balan? Did we have anyone named Leo Craig come to Camp this year?" He asked. Balan looked at his list, and sure enough, Leo's name WAS there. "Yes, I believe so!" He replied "He's not here..." Zuke told him. Sundrop's head popped between them "He's probably got lost in the woods again!" He said jubilantly. Balan chuckled
"It's alright, all new campers have a hard time navigating the grounds, but we better find him, it's getting dark..." He said, gazing at the setting sun. Hakim gave a cheeky smile "I'll get the little Chico" He said as he snapped his fingers and disappeared in a flurry of rose petals. "Maybe I should go and look too!" Sunny said. Balan gave a smile "Alright, go on and follow Hakim." He said as he backflipped outside. NiGHTS looked at Balan "I dom understand why anyone would try and leave." She said. Balan gave her shoulder a little squeeze "Oh don't worry, he'll change his mind, everyone does, and who knows...maybe he'll make a few friends in the end..."
