Meanwhile with Rebecca, Trisha Jane, Cal and Fortsepher...
The small group sat down. The 4 of them were tired as they had been searching for both the tree, and Fortie, for a good few hours. However, due to the backwards nature of Balan's hiccups, they had no idea of where they were going "Are you sure that we didn't already pass that tree? It looks like the tree from before." Rebecca said, looking at a colorful tree. "I'm sure, we haven't passed it...I think..." Cal said as he sat on Fortsepher's shoulder. "You're absolutely positive that we're not going in circles?" Trisha Jane asked. She had made a small Map of the world, but due to the confusing nature of the once chess kingdom, SHE didn't even know where she was going. "I'm...sure." Cal said, unsure of his words. "Well, even if we are going in circles, we won't starve to death, we have fruit with us! Too bad it's not the Wonder Fruit." Rebecca says as she walks towards a nearby banana tree and plucks one off. "Yeah...Where in Wonderworld could it possibly be?" Fortsepher asked.
The world rumbled around them that caused the banana tree in Rebecca's hand turned into a pair of red clown boots. "Oh no...Balan's hiccups must be getting stronger... we better keep looking. " Trisha Jane said as they group started walking again through the vast foliage. Hours went by as they moved through the jungle like stage, they went up, they went down, they explored every inch of jungle...only to end up back at the banana tree. "We ARE going in circles!" Cal yelled. The Chess Negaboss glared at him "Well, shouldn't you know where we're going?! This is YOUR stage!!" He yelled. Cal glared back "Well excuse me for not having some control, but my world had recently been transformed by a being with reality warping hiccups." He snapped. Trisha Jane and Rebecca decided to defuse the fight before it got out of hand "Whoa now you two, take it easy, To be honest, we're confused too, but we can't lose hope in finding that tree. Maybe we might get lucky!" Rebecca said. Fortsepher rolled his eyes "Oh sure, like the most elusive tree in Wonderworld is gonna just pop out of thin air." He said sarcastically.
However just as those words left his mouth, a beautiful tree with golden peaches grew from the ground in front of them "FINALLY!! THE GOLDEN PEACHES ARE BACK!!!" Fortie shouted, as he frantically grabbed the peaches. "Yeah, after you relentlessly caused everyone to not grab the fruit." Mei sharked as she tried to untangle herself from Leo's lasso. "Mei! Emma! Leo! Hang on we're coming!" Rebecca yelled as she and Trisha Jane helped them get untangled. Fortsepher grabbed his brother from the tree, making him drop the peaches "YOU HAVE CAUSED ENOUGH TROUBLE FORTIE!!" The king Negati yelled, throwing him into his chest and locking it "Now you stay in there!" He shouted as Fortie banged against the doors, his shouts and yelling muffled by the locked door. Trisha Jane and Rebecca untied the Trio, much to their relief "Thank You. " they said in sync as they got off the ground "Well, at least Fortie is off the tree." Emma said as she reached up for one of the golden peaches "Yeah, so we better get this fruit before-" Leo was cut off by the tree vanishing from sight again. The group looked in horror. The tree was gone, and the one thing they had go find the tree was now locked in Fortsepher's chest. The world shook once more as the ground beneath them turned bright yellow and pink. And the trees turned into inflatable toys.
