"Eee Hee Hee!" Midna laughed as we stood on the castle walls in the pouring rain. "Do you understand where we are now?"

I sighed and nodded, knowing she could not understand me, but also knowing where we were thanks to Zelda, the actual princess Zelda's story.

"I guess a promise is a promise," she said. "So I'll let you go back to where you first tumbled into Twilight... But... are you really sure you should be going back? Are you sure you aren't forgetting anything important?

She then took the form of Colin, and Ilia. "Eee hee! You want to save them? Well in that case little Midna would be happy to help you! But...you'd have to be my servant... and like a servant you'd have to do exactly what I say! Why don't you go back, take a little time, and give it some thought? Eee Hee Hee!"

With that I felt myself break down into tiny pieces, it should feel unsettling, but it just felt natural, when I reappeared I was in the Ordon Spring, though still a wolf.

"Oh, that's right," I heard from what I instinctively knew was my shadow. "I forgot to mention one tenny little thing. Though you may have left the darkened realm... you haven't changed back to your former self. And you won't anytime soon. Now why could that be? Eee Hee Hee! See you later!"

I huffed and looked around, deciding to leave when Midna reappeared from my shadow.

"So what next?" she asked. "If you think you can just run ahead and save your friends... you can't. A shadow beast pulled you through the curtain of Twilight last time... but without cooperation of someone from the twilight, like me, you won't be getting back that way. So you really have no choice but to do what I say. Saving your friends and all that. Well that'll depend on your actions. Because you can never trust words you know? Right now I want a sword and shield that will suit me. Better hurry. While you dawdle the Twilight is expanding. Better hurry."

Huffing, but knowing I need her help, I made my way into Ordon Village to find a sword and shield. Destroying several Bulbin's along the way, and learning from a squirrel that I could talk to animals like this. It was also interesting, scaring Hanch, talking to the hawk. and jumping into a building through an open window on the roof to get the shield. and digging through the dirt into Russel's house to get the sword. And Midna's face when I dragged her out of my shadow with my teeth town shake her when she said she thought Russell was an idiot to search at night while injured. Though both of us were confused about how I did it. Still we eventually got the sword and shield and returned to Faron Woods.

"Wait..." a voice said from Ordon Spring as we passed it. "Come... to my spring..."

Is that Ordona? I thought entering the spring.

"You have... been transformed... by the power...of shadow...come to me." The voice said as I approached, only to be stopped by pillars dropping from the sky, and creating a red barrier. Causing the voice to panic. "Beware...a Shadow Being... it approaches."

A monster then dropped down from a red portal that disappeared. I lunged forward latching on and biting it over and over again, though it tasted disgusting. Eventually it threw me off, and I used my claws and fangs to finish it off. Causing Ordona to appear, looking like a giant goat with a ball of light between its horns. Though its presence was uncomfortable. Like something inside me could not stand the light it was giving off, though I could 2ithstand this much, as Ordona gave me the task to revive the other light spirits and that if I'm lucky by doing so I could be back to normal.

And so with that we headed to the curtain of Twilight and Midna went through before dragging me through with her hair.
