Warning: Jan & Pink Ladies-bashing
Danny Zuko wanted to take his younger sisters Dalton, Daisy, Angelica and his baby brother Alexander to Frosty, to spend time with them after being so busy and being with the love of his life, Sandy. So he parked his car and got out, holding the door open as they got out. "I'm glad you're taking us to Frosty!" Daisy smiled at her older brother.
Danny chuckled at her.
"Yeah!" Dalton adds.
Danny ruffles his hair.
"Anytime kiddos." He replied as he held Ric Jr. in his arms. "Let's roll."
They started to walk to the entrance of Frosty Palace.
"We should've asked Derek, Dally and Desty to come." Alexander said, looking up at him. "It could've been siblings' bonding day!"
Danny chuckled at him.
"Yeah, but big bro gotta take someone's place at work." Danny explains.
They walked inside and over to the booth.
"Can we get ice creams too?" Angelica asked.
"No sweetie, I promise mom and dad that I won't let you youngsters get hyped up before bed." Danny tells them.
"Aw!" The kids awed.
Danny laughed a little, shaking his head.
"Did ya hear what Bruno did last Saturday?" One of the kids, behind Danny, asked his buddies. "He hooked up with a chick and said it was amazing." He and his buddies laughed.
Danny was looking to see his younger siblings coloring, not paying attention, thankfully. Not wanting to explain what they're talking about.
"Who was the chick?" One of the boys asked.
"He said her name was Jan." The guy spoke.
Danny perked up, now listening in on their conversation. They couldn't be talking about Jan, his youngest best friend who was like a baby brother to him, Putzie's girlfriend.
"Wait, ain't she goin' out with that T-Bird kid?" Another boy asked.
Now Danny was really paying attention.
"Yeah." The guy answered. "But Bruno told me that Jan said that lil' squirt was a loser and stupid."
Danny slowly clenched his fists into the napkins, which Dalton noticed a little.
"What a dork!" The guy laughed.
Danny stood up angrily and grabbed the hold of the guy's shirt.
"Excuse me, did I just hear you making fun of my little brother?" Danny asked angrily.
The guy knew who he was and was clearly afraid of him.
"U-uh n-no Sir!" The guy shutters.
Danny roughly lets him go.
"You're lucky Kenickie wasn't here to hear you say those things." Danny said. "And about Jan, she would never do such a thing. Especially knowing how much I despise those slutty Pink Ladies."
"You may wanna turn around." The other boy told him.
Danny turned to see Jan walking in with a guy, seemingly Bruno's arm around her, but stopped at her track to see a very angry Danny.
"Danny?" Jan asked, surprisingly.
Danny was fuming, it was one thing for Rizzo and Marty to treat Sandy, Kenickie and Sonny like crap, but to hurt Putzie, his Babyface whom he vowed to protect, is another new lowest of the low.
"This isn't what it looks like!" Jan protested.
But Danny was having none of it.
"Kids, we're leaving, now." Danny says flatly.
Dalton knew when his second eldest brother was furious, so he stood up, holding Daisy and Alexander's hands while Danny held Ric Jr. in his arms and held Angelica's hand and walked to the door, with Dalton, Daisy and Alexander behind him. Jan turns to Danny and grabs his arm.
"Danny, let me explain—" Jan started.
Danny snaps towards her, yanking his arm away from her.
"Don't you freakin' touch me Janice!" Danny snapped.
Danny was raised to never hate women, but understandably hated the Pink Ladies with every passion of his being. He walked out of the door and to his car as they all got in to drive off.
~Back At The Zukos' Household~
Danny was pacing back and forth with the guys, except Putzie, watching him.
"Danny, what's wrong?" Sonny asked him. "We've never seen you this angry after what happened with the Pink Ladies."
Danny lets out a deep breath.
"I hate them." Danny says. "I don't care what anyone says, I am officially done with them bitches!"
"What happened?" Kenickie asked.
Danny took a big breath before speaking.
"Jan has been cheating on Putzie, our Putzie!" Danny told them.
The guys felt their jaws hit the floor.
"What?" Sonny asked shockingly.
"Seriously?" Doody asked.
Kenickie stood up, pounding his fist to his hand.
"Who's the loser that Jan is cheating with?" Kenickie asked angrily.
"Some freak show named Bruno." Danny tells him.
"Our poor sweet adorable Babyface." Doody mumbled.
Sonny and Doody both stood up.
"Did you tell Putzie, yet?" Sonny asked.
Danny shook his head.
"How can I say it to his angelic face?" He asked.
The boys nodded their heads in agreements.
"But we're gonna have to tell him." Doody replied.
"I know, Howdy Doody." Danny said, going over to the phone. "It's gonna hurt, but I gotta tell him."
He dials Putzie's house number.
"Hello?" He heard Putzie's upbeat voice on the other line.
Danny felt his heart pained, he didn't want to tell him, but he has too.
"Hey kid, it's Danny." He answered. "Could you come over for a minute? It's very important."
"O-oh ok, I'm on my way." Putzie responded.
They both hung up the phone.
"He's coming over." Danny said lowly.
He looked up at the boys who had sad expressions on their faces.
"But I know, it's not gonna end well and we need to be there for our little brother." He adds.
The boys nodded their heads.
~A Couple Minutes Later~
Putzie ran out of his house and hurriedly ran to Danny's house since they both lived next door to each other. He knocks on the door to see Danny opening the door.
"Hey, I'm here now." Putzie said. "Is everything ok?"
"Come inside, buddy." Danny said gently.
Putzie walks inside and the two went upstairs to Danny's room, Danny shuts the door and turns to Putzie who is confused and worried.
"Putzie, before I tell you...there is something I need you to promise me." Danny starts.
Putzie just stared at him, still confused and worried.
"That you are an amazing and greatest kid in the whole world." Danny tells him.
"Zuk, you are scaring me." Putzie finally spoke.
Danny chuckled sadly.
"Sit down, brother." Danny said to him.
They both sat down and Danny finally told Putzie the whole thing, while Putzie stared out into space, shocked that Jan would even do this to him. He knew Danny would never ever lie to him, especially how overprotective Danny is of him.
"And before we left, I just...I was so livid that she would try and go on like that." Danny finished. "Again, I'm so sorry about this, Putz. I wish it didn't happen. But you gotta admit, that it is not surprising since she's a pink lady."
Putzie looks down, fighting the tears.
"Brother, please say something." Danny said gently.
"It was probably my fault." Putzie said, his voice cracking.
Danny felt his heart stings.
"No, it's not...look at me..." Danny said, grabbing his chin. "None of this, ain't ya fault! Jan is a bitch just like the rest of them."
Putzie just sniffed.
"You're a great kid..." Danny adds. "An amazing, sweet, kind, caring and smart young lad."
Putzie couldn't fight back tears, so he just let it go.
"Danny..." He cried.
"C'mere kid." Danny whispers as he holds Putzie in his arms, letting him break down crying.
Danny felt his heart break for his best friend, his little brother.
"Shhhh, it's gonna be ok little brother," Danny comforted him. "Just let it out, it's ok to show emotions."
Danny let Putzie stay in his arms for a while, feeling a lot more hatred towards Jan and the Pink Ladies. He hopes that there is a really sweet girl out there for Putzie. Like Abby, who lives in Texas now. No man or woman should feel like it's their fault.
