DISCLAIMER: I don't own Sonic or associated properties, and I also don't own the OC that'll be used in this mini-story. I do own the dance floor each and every time, though. Many call it mindless flailing, but I call it Fred Astaire's punk rock phase. Oh, and I also own the story as well, so ye.

So this is a bit new for me, isn't it? I've done stories and one-shots with requested OCs before, but I've never done a wee three chapter spread featuring one, so I'd like to thank Kiki L. Cooper for putting her request in for this. This will eventually contain smut as well as some fighting as a result of drama. It is set in a high school, after all. Imagine that. Me writing about a bunch of hedgehogs in high school. Anyway, all characters are at least 18 or over, and... that'll about cover it, I believe. I will see you all at the bottom.
A female brown hedgehog with long quills and galaxy coloured irises was checking herself over in a high school bathroom. She scratched over the black heart-shape birthmark on her right cheek and turned her head up and to the side a bit as she applied some makeup to herself, and she turned her head to the right.
"Rouge? How does this look?"
The white bat stopped her own contouring work and smiled at the hedgehog. "Damn, Kiki, that looks good. You really have been learning from me."
"I've always been pretty good at it," Kiki smiled. "I mean, I did somehow get a figure similar to yours. May as well keep up in the makeup department too."
"Are you going to crash at my place after school today or have you got work to do?"
"Work," Kiki said. "I know that you think that it's a drag, but I really like working for Vanilla at her self-titled bakery. She's really nice."
"Fair enough," Rouge smiled. "Come on. We'd better get to our classes now. Lunch break's almost over."
"Have we ever actually had lunch on our lunch breaks?" Kiki giggled. "I swear, we only ever use that time to put on makeup. Not that I'm complaining since you look fierce, girl."
"So do you, bestie," Rouge winked. "Let's move. We still have time to actually eat."
Kiki giggled and joined her as they left, both starting their way to the lunch hall when two familiar figures ran towards them. Kiki recognised them as Sonic and Scourge, both hedgehogs who she was also friends with, and they both stopped by Kiki and looked relieved upon seeing her.
"Thank Chaos that you're here," Sonic said.
"Uh... why would I not be?" Kiki asked, confused.
"We don't have time," Scourge replied. "Rosy and Amy are chasing us down, trying to ask us out on dates."
"They know you've already got girlfriends, right?" Rouge asked. "Sonic's got Sally and Scourge has Fiona."
"Eh... that's a bit complicated," Scourge said, looking around. "Don't ask questions about it. Kiki, can we please hide in your bag?"
Kiki sighed, slinging her bag off of her shoulders. "Be quick."
She opened it and Scourge and Sonic hopped in, both entering a pocket dimension that looked like a typical teenage boys' bedroom. Kiki closed the bag up and put it on her shoulder with no extra effort, and she saw Amy and her identical twin sister Rosy rushing up to them, both pink hedgehogs smiling politely at Kiki.
"Hey, Kiki," Roy smiled. "Did you happen to see two very handsome hedgehogs run by?"
"Uh... sure," Kiki said, turning the corner and pointing. "They ran that way. I think that they used their super speed to get an advantage."
"That won't stop us!" Amy cried out. "Sonic, I'll get you to be my husband yet!"
As the two pink hedgehogs ran off down the hall, Kiki made sure that the coast was clear before she opened her bag up. "All right, they're gone. It's safe for you to come out now." She put her bag onto the floor and opened it, letting Sonic and Scourge climb out. "How was your trip?"
"Not bad," Sonic said. "Not as cramped as I thought it'd be, either."
"We owe you one," Scourge replied.
"You can pay it back right now with some hot gossip," Rouge smiled. "We'll do it over lunch, though. I'm starving."
The four left to go to the lunch hall, making it there with no more distractions and all getting lunch, sitting around a table together. As they sat down, Sonic saw Sally and Fiona both getting up to leave. He stood up and used his speed to zip in front of the girls and he smiled at the two.
"Hello, ladies," Sonic smiled.
"There's my handsome man," Sally smiled, leaning to kiss her boyfriend on the cheek. "I wondered where you went."
"We got delayed. Chased by Amy and Rosy again," Sonic sighed. "I'm just glad that I'm alive."
"Well, she's a stalker, not a murderer," Sally giggled. "I'd stay and chat but we have to get ready for class."
"Babe, we're in the same class after lunch," Sonic replied. "Come sit with us. Hell, you too, Fiona."
"I'm good," Fiona said. "Like Sally said, we're busy. But I don't mind going alone." She looked to see Scourge sat down, and she gave a little finger wave at him as he waved back before she turned to leave.
"Wow..." Sally said. "That was pretty cold of her."
"Fiona!" Scourge called, getting out of his seat and getting up to the doors she'd just walked through. He watched her, expecting her to turn the first left to get to class easier but she instead went right. "Shit..."
"Everything okay?" Sonic asked Scourge.
"Uh... no, not really," the green hedgehog replied, hearing the bell go off. "I'll tell you more after school."
As Scourge turned to leave, Kiki stood up behind Sonic. "What was that about?"
"He said he'd tell us more when the day's over," Sally said. "Nice makeup, by the way."
"Thanks," Kiki smiled.
The rest of the school day went about as usual for the group, and as soon as it was over, they all met up outside of the gates, all ready to go home. They waited at a bus stop, with Fiona sitting next to Scourge and holding his hand, even leaning to make out with him to the slight discomfort of the others there.
The bus eventually came and they all got on, Sonic and Sally stopping at the blue hedgehog's place and Rouge hopping off at her own stop along the way too. Soon it was down to Fiona who got up to get off of the bus, and Scourge got up to follow her but he was stopped by the red fox's hand on his chest as she turned to face him.
"Not today, handsome," Fiona said. "I've got a lot of homework to do."
"Since when did you care about homework?" Scourge asked.
"What? I can't be smart and hot at the same time?" Fiona smiled. "See you tomorrow." She leaned and kissed his cheek before turning to leave, and Scourge sighed, sitting across from Kiki and looking at her.
"What's her problem?" Kiki asked.
"She has to study," Scourge replied, twiddling his fingers. "Without me, apparently."
"What are you learning? Frenching?" Kiki giggled.
"Very funny," Scourge shook his head, sighing.
The brown hedgehog saw the green one's frown and she reached for his hands. "Hey... you've been my bestie since we were 8. That's a solid ten years together. So whatever's wrong, you can tell me."
Scourge nodded. "I... I feel like Fiona's been distant towards me lately."
"Oh? And... how long have you felt this way?"
"For maybe the past couple of weeks," Scourge said. "When we're in public, it's like she doesn't mind. I mean, she'll kiss me, say nice things about me, and I do the same for her. But when we're private, it's... not the same." He leaned in to whisper. "We haven't had sex in two weeks... she always seems tired."
Kiki blushed at the revelation, shaking her head to free any thoughts of Scourge's chiselled form and nude body. "I-I'm sure that it'll be fine. There's more to a relationship than just sex, you know."
"I know, and that's where I'm having more trouble," Scourge said. "I've tried doing nice things for her, but she doesn't respond. It's almost like... like she's ashamed of me."
Kiki sighed and smiled. "Tell you what? How about you stay over at my place tonight. We'll do some homework together, eat some chips, and I'll even give you control over my playlist."
"I get to pick the music?" Scourge asked.
"You get to pick the music," Kiki confirmed.
"Sweet," Scourge smiled.
Kiki pointed. "See? That. Do that smile more. You look handsome when you do it."
Scourge smiled, more nervously this time, and Kiki's stop soon came up. She got off of the bus with Scourge following as she went to her apartment building She went a few floors up until she found her place, getting her key out and opening her door to let Scourge in first before she entered as well, heading for the living room and giving Scourge her phone.
"You set up the music, I'll get dressed," Kiki replied.
Scourge did so, setting up a playlist on the brown hedgehog's phone and not having to wait long as she was dressed, wearing a black glittery shirt and blue jeans. He blushed as he noticed how well her figure pushed out against the clothes, and as she went to her kitchen to get some snacks, she bent over. Scourge used his willpower to focus on getting his books out of his bag, and Kiki soon returned to sit across from him as she put a couple of snack bowls between them, even having grabbed some bottles of soda.
"Ah... you always get the good stuff," Scourge smiled. "Chocolate and flaming hot chips? You truly do spoil me."
"I don't spoil you that badly," Kiki giggled. "You'll probably work the extra calories off in no time."
"Ah, so you have been checking me out at the school gym," Scourge grinned as he pressed play on Kiki's phone.
"Well, we go there together, so... yeah," Kiki smiled, listening to the hip hop tune on the phone. "Ooh, good shit. I like it."
Scourge chuckled a bit, his laughter dying down soon as he looked over at Kiki. "Say, uh... could I ask you something?"
"Sure," Kiki nodded. "Go ahead."
Scourge cleared his throat. "I probably have no place asking any of this of you, but... well, earlier at lunch, Fiona took a different path to class. It's something I've noticed this past week, her always going a different way to me and it's always a slower route to our classes. I'm surprised that she hasn't gotten suspended for being late. It's happened more than once."
"I'm waiting for the part where you ask me to do something morally wrong," Kiki said.
"It's... it's not easy, but I was wondering if you'd tail Fiona tomorrow at school? Maybe find out why she's so late, see if she's hanging out with anyone?" Scourge asked.
"Why? Are you worried that she's cheating on you?" Kiki asked.
"More just worried about her in general," Scourge said. "If you don't want to, it's fine. I'll do it myself."
"No," Kiki said, reaching to grab his hand and blushing. "I-I mean... yes, I'll do it for you. As your best friend."
Scourge smiled. "I appreciate that."
The two hedgehogs finished up their homework and Scourge left, thanking Kiki for the company before leaving to go to his own place. The brown hedgehog sighed as she watched Scourge leave, and she pulled out her phone, punching up Rouge's number and waiting for her to pick up as she sat on her couch, sighing sadly.
Rouge answered after a few rings. "Hey, beauty! How are you?"
"Oh, you know... same old," Kiki said. "I had Scourge around earlier. For homework purposes."
"Uh-huh, sure. Homework," Rouge said, her voice deadpan.
"That's what it was, shush," Kiki blushed a bit.
"Whatever," Rouge smiled. "Did you tell him that you love him yet?"
"W-What?!" Kiki gasped. "I-I didn't- I mean, I don't love him!"
"Kiki, you've told me that you do and I've kept the secret for ages," Rouge said. "He's not still there, is he?"
"No, he's gone," Kiki said sharply. "And besides, it doesn't matter if I do love him or not... which... yeah, I do. But he's dating Fiona. That's actually why I called you."
"Ah, you need me to break up Fiona and Scourge so that you can be with him," Rouge said. "Say no more. I will happily undertake this task."
"No, that's... that's not what I'm asking," Kiki sighed. "Scourge wants me to follow Fiona around tomorrow. He's worried about her because she's been late to classes lately and she's been pushing him away when they're together privately. She keeps it up in public around him, according to him."
"Do you believe him?" Rouge asked.
"I believe that he is worried about her either way," Kiki said. "I'm calling to ask if you'll help me out? It's just for the day and if we can't find anything, we'll stop stalking her."
"Why doesn't Scourge just ask?" Rouge questioned.
"Well, like I said, she's apparently closed off when they're together privately," Kiki said. "He's probably tried to before but he hasn't gotten an answer out of her."
Rouge let out a hum of thought and nodded. "All right, we'll do it. Operation Break Up Scourge And Fiona commences tomorrow."
"We need a better name and also we're not breaking them up!" Kiki said, laughing. "Ugh... Rouge?"
"Yeah?" the white bat asked.
"Thanks," Kiki said.
"Any time," said Rouge. "And remember to tell Scourge that you love him!"
"I don't- and she hung up," Kiki sighed, shaking her head. "She's lucky I like her so much."
And that is the first of three! I'll see you very soon for more of this as the next chapter won't be that long either. Hope you enjoyed this one, and yeah, not many things planned right now besides this, so it's chapter two soon. Until then, take care, and stay tuned.
