She was like an angel. The way she floated above me with the sun behind her made her look ethereal. Her orange hair blazed like fire through the sunlight and her green eyes shone through the shadows created on her face. I could never get enough of the intoxicating light this woman emitted.
She looked down at me and I was thankful for my mask as I knew my eyes would tell all of the thoughts buzzing in my head. She gracefully landed next to me and I could feel the warmth of her presence intensify the closer she got. She was still a little taller than me but I didn't mind because I felt like she belonged above. Even when she stood right next to me it felt like she was out of my grasp.
Someone called her from the other side of the roof. A gleeful smile spread across her face and she quickly took flight again dodging the new training drones. As I watched her go higher and higher into the sky I had a sudden thought.
Is this what it's like for demons to gaze upon angels from hell?
She came speeding down offering her hand to me. The big grin on her face told she was enjoying our training session.
"Robin!"
I began running towards the edge of the tower and jumped. She caught me and placed her arms around my torso firmly. Electricity coursed through my entire being as soon as I felt her. In my mind I made a silent plea.
Please take me with you to the heavens, it is far too agonizing to simply watch you from hell.
