"Alright, I know that we only have a couple of days until prom," said the teacher as she stood at the front of the class at Cosmo High.
"But don't forget about the test the day before, it will count toward twenty percent of your final grade so make sure that you study for it," she said. The bell then rang so the students got up and left.
"I don't even get why everyone cares so much about this stupid dance," said Sandra who was heading out with her pod.
"Because it's the last school event we'll have before graduation," said Birch.
"Birch is right, don't you want to have one last event while we're still students here?" asked Liam.
"Speaking of the dance, do you have a date for Prom yet, Birch?" asked Raffi.
"N... No," said Birch.
"What about you, Raffi?" she asked while stopping at her locker in order to grab her books and bag.
"A lot of girls have asked me, but I'm waiting for a special one too," said Raffi.
"Hm, a special girl, huh?" asked Sandra, fox ears and tail appearing while a mischievous smirk grew on her face.
"Do we know this girl?" she asked.
"Uh, yeah, you all know her," said Raffi who was growing nervous.
"Then what's her name, you can at least tell us that much, right?" asked Sandra as she invaded his personal space.
"I… I have to go!" he said before rushing out of the school.
"Okay, that was a little suspicious," said Liam.
"I wonder who he wants to go to the dance with," said Birch who was screaming on the inside with hope that it was her but was doing her best not to show her true emotions.
"Don't worry, I'm going to figure this out," said Sandra, her tail swaying back and forth as a plan started to form.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" asked Liam before he was pulled by Sandra out the main entrance to the school.
"Guess I'm walking home alone," said Birch.
