Shortly after finding out that Raffi likes Birch, Liam had met up at the diner with Sandra in order to go over what they had learned and make their next plans.
"I can't believe those two idiots haven't figured each other out yet," said Sandra.
"Tell me about it, but what are we going to do?" asked Liam.
"We're going to get them alone so that they have no excuses but to talk to each other," said Sandra.
"Alright, but this time it's going to cost you," said Liam.
"What do you want?" asked Sandra who was a little wary of what he could mean by that. Meanwhile, Birch was at her house working on a poem.
"I think this should do," said Birch while putting the poem into the pocket of her jacket which was hanging up on the back of her bedroom door.
"Now I just have to find the right time to give it to Raffi," she said while flopping down on her bed.
"Meow," said Neko who jumped up next to her.
"I know that I'm running out of time, Neko," said Birch.
"But I honestly don't know how to act around him some days," she said while petting the cat as he laid next to her.
"Hey Birch, are you in there?" asked Liam while knocking on the door.
"Yeah, come in," said Birch.
"Since when did you start knocking before walking into a room?" she asked while sitting up to look at him.
"Since last week when I walked in on you changing your shirt," said Liam as he made a disgusted expression. To this, Birch hit him with a pillow.
"What do you want, Liam?" asked Birch.
"My mom wanted me to bring something over for you mom, but I also wanted to say that the other two are coming over to my place in order to study for the upcoming test, tomorrow," said Liam.
"Are you up for studying with us?" he asked.
"Sure, sounds good," said Birch.
"Great, see you tomorrow and make sure to bring some snacks," said Liam before turning and leaving.
