The following day, the four members of pod four were over at Liam's place sitting around his room going over things for the upcoming test.
"And that's how you solve this problem," said Birch who just finished helping Sandra with a math problem.
"Thanks Birch, I think I finally got it," said Sandra. She quickly took notice of the fact Raffi and Birch were sitting as far from each other as possible, Birch willingly sitting next to a stack of Liam's clothes in order to do so.
"Hey, Liam, I'm kind of getting thirsty, do you think we can go get some of the snacks and drinks from the kitchen?" she asked.
"Sure, be right back," said Liam as the two stood up. Neither Birch nor Raffi paid attention to them until they heard the sound of the door locking behind the two of them.
"Did they just lock us in here?" asked Raffi.
"What are you two doing, this isn't funny!" said Birch while rushing over and finding the door to be in fact locked then started pounding on it along with Raffi.
"The both of you aren't coming out of there until you talk things out," said Sandra.
"Talk what out?" asked Raffi,
"You know exactly what we mean, both of you do, and until you have that talk you two can stay in there," said Liam.
"Also, nothing of value was left in there so there's nothing for you to take hostage," he said.
"Hey, come back here!" said Birch as she heard them walking away.
"I can't believe they did this to us," said a stunned Raffi.
"They can't keep us in here forever," said Birch.
"They'll get bored soon and release us, then we can pound them for this," she said while punching her fist.
"You can say that again," said Raffi while sitting down and playing with a basketball. Birch just went back to studying for the test.
