Three hours after they had been locked in Liam's room, Birch was trying to break the door down by beating on it all while yelling at the two on the other side.
"If you don't open this door now, Liam, I swear to tell everyone your most embarrassing secret!" said Birch.
"Maybe we should let them out before she gets even madder," said a worried Liam who was watching TV in the living room with Sandra and eating some pizza.
"Go ahead, but if you do then you can forget about our deal," said Sandra.
"Never mind then," said Liam.
"Gah, I can't leave them," said Birch before kicking the door. However, she forgot that she was not wearing shoes and hurt her foot by doing so.
"Hey, calm down, Birch," said Raffi as he helped her over to Liam's bed in order to sit down.
"Sorry, it's just that I really need out," said Birch who was blushing and crossing one of her legs across the other one. Undenounced to her, the poem had fallen out of her pocket in all the commotion.
"Hey, what's this?" asked Raffi as he picked up the piece of paper.
"Don't!" said Birch while grabbing it out of his hands.
"Oh, guess it's something I'm not supposed to see," said Raffi who lowered his head, a little bit of sadness in his expression.
"No, it's actually meant for you, just wasn't really all that ready to give it to you," said Birch as she held the paper out. Raffi took it and once he read the poem, he turned his attention back to Birch.
"You want to go to the prom with me?" asked Raffi.
"Yeah, but I'm probably not the one you want to go with, so I don't expect you to say yes," said Birch while looking away.
"But you are," said Raffi as he sat down next to her.
