Chapter 1: OLD WORLD

The Straw Hat crew, having defeated Kaido and Big Mom by proxy, leave Wano with the title of Emperor now bestowed onto them.

On the Thousand Sunny, the crew was celebrating their new membership- Carrot and Yamato.

"The sea...it's so pretty...," said the Oni.

"You sure about leaving Zou to Wanda?" asked

"Yeah, Shishilian agreed to lead with her. Lords Dogstorm and Cat Viper are ok with it since they're staying with Momonosuke. And...I've grown attached to you guys...," she said as she pressed her cheek against Nami.

"Awww...," the navigator said aloud.

"We got three crewmates. Any more and I might have to customize Sunny to be bigger.," said Franky.

"Where do we go now?," asked Usopp.

The tone turned more serious

Luffy crossed his arms-

"Cobra was a nice guy...Sabo wouldn't do this. The bastard who did it...I'll kick his ass once I get my hands on him. But Vivi's missing and Hancock's with Rayleigh...," said the Captain.

"I agree- Sabo's not the kind of man who'd kill a decent person. And we don't know where Vivi would be. But it looks like we're going to have to take a detour.,' Robin noted.

"I'm gonna see Vivi again!," said Sanji.

"So no Elbaf? What about Lodestar? Or Sphinx?" asked Brook.

"There's something odd up ahead.," said Jimbei.

It was indeed odd- the skies led to a veil of massive size colored the same as the skies with the words- OLD WORLD etched in flashing red.

"Uh, what?," Chopper.

Nami then noticed the Log Pose spinning wildly.

"The magnet's on the fritz. Let's not go there.," said the woman.

"Too Late...," said Jinbei as he pointed to Luffy steering into the veil.

"Oh, he's wanting to go there.," said Nami before she did a double take of shock.

"OLD WORLD...I bet it's fun.," he said as the ship entered into the veil.

"OH MY GOD!," shouted Usopp as they entered into the darkness.

As the ship entered, the veil closed behind them and both the veil and words vanished.

A random fisherman ship that had witnessed these events transpire was astonished at the sight.

"What the hell?," asked the man with a double chin and a J-shaped body.

He then picked up his nearby Transponder Snail and said-

"I saw a ship...I think it's those Emperor kids...and they just went into something with a name on top...OLD WORLD-," said the man before suddenly a white beam of light shot down.

In an instant, the ship and its crew were obliterated.

The Five Elders collectively felt an odd sensation as they froze in place in the Pangea Palace above the Red Line.

"What's wrong sir...?," asked an attendant.

"Leave...,' said the one with the wide mustache.

The attendant quickly left in a hurry.

"Someone has managed to breach into THERE...," said the bald one with glasses, no facial hair, wearing a white gi, and holding a katana.

The one with the long white hair and long beard narrowed his brow.

"After everything we've done for the past nearly millennium to suppress it. A tear opened...and a crew just slipped into THERE.," he said.

"The situation keeps on getting more and more complicated with this and Cross Guild, Blackbeard, and the Revolutionaries occurring at the same time with this additional mess happening. We need to fix this problem so we can refocus on the more manageable ones.," said the long-haired and bearded elder.

"Then the answer's obvious...make sure they don't come back.," said the elder with the skull cap and dreadlocks.

"But then again, whoever went in...won't come back anyway...since THERE makes even the New World seem docile and heavenly in comparison...," said the blond one with a beard that was younger than his peers.

"And THERE isn't a complete unknown since we have agents stationed there observing events and keeping us informed about events. So we have a backup in case that place...and its residents don't destroy them first" said the dreadlocks one.

"But we should focus on Buggy and Blackbeard...since they've replaced Kaido and Big Mom as the troublesome Emperors. Along with...," said the bald, bespectacled elder.

All of them shared the same revelation.

"The Straw Hats went THERE?!," shouted the blond.

"Out of every faction outside of the Revolutionaries...they're the worst ones to have entered there...and it's not even a century since the two last two almost caused it to become public...," said the blonde.

Immediately, the swordsman Elder closed the curtains and locked the doors. He then cautiously looked around.

"Now that I think about it, didn't God's Valley drift THERE 38 years ago...," said the bald one with the huge mustache.

"God's Valley...once known as the Emerald City...Lodestar Island..and-," the swordsman said before pausing himself.

"Names have power...even uttering it would bring it back into memory...to think I almost undid the means that we had made it an unknown in the first place.," he corrected himself.

"We managed to get the National Treasure from there at least- had it become public- the image would've also sparked memories of that past.," said the dreadlocks elder.

"Only we, Doflamingo, Rocks' crew, and Roger's crew along with our agents there have any inclination on what that National Treasure could be...along with what Roger ignorantly dubs ONE PIECE...more than even 400 years...we are in a precarious situation.," said the elder with the large mustache.

"If this gets public...we can just either erase the truth...or perform a purge...," said the swordsman elder.

"Let's hope this escalates to involve Im's attention...," said the dreadlocks Elder.

Unknown Location

"It just closed...it's like it was never there...," Nami complained.

"Heheheheh...we're stuck...," Nami said.

Luffy and the crew then saw things that were weird even by their experiences-

Flying pigs in the sky, flying clocks, massive jack in the boxes popping in and out of islands, the sky is half night and half day amongst other oddities.

"Umm...what the hell is this?," asked Usopp.

"So weird!," Luffy noted before Nami pulled on his cheek.

"Luffy!," shouted the Navigator.

"Come to think it, what will your positions be.," said Robin.

"I'm going to be the Chronologer.," Yamato replied.

"I'll be a Nurse.," said Carrot.

Without a word, Usopp gestured to a massive goldfish being eaten by a colossal tiger being eaten by a gigantic mouse being eaten by cartoonish beetle of titanic size...before it generated a business suit with a briefcase as it walked towards an island which opened up and it squeezed into it- as if saying-

"Why aren't you focusing on this?"

"We're in a weird place now. Even by the New World standards, this is weird. Hopefully, there's someone we can talk to here.," said Sanji.

"I hope things don't get too crazy.," said Brook.

He then noticed a ship approaching them.

"Oh natives...they're here to welcome us.," said the skeleton.

"Damn Pirates! Don't recognize them but still- Get them!" said a voice on the ship as their flag of a noble-looking seal came into view.

"Oh they're enemies...," said Brook before most of the crew went into shock.

"Tch, guess we're gonna fight-," said Sanji before a massive black whip rammed into the incoming ship, sending it kilometers away.

"Those Seals...up to their tricks again...," said a deep voice from behind the Straw Hats.

Luffy turned to see a massive ship with a long-nosed monkey figurehead with a flag of a Jolly Roger with a weird blue, white, and red striped afro with star-shaped sunglasses with punching gloves as its crossbones.

"Oi, who are ya?," Luffy asked.

"Let's go over there. You seem to be lost.," the voice said, gesturing to a nearby island covered in square buildings with faces.

"Sure!," said Luffy.

"What if he's an enemy and he's got ulterior motives.," said Usopp.

"We can kick his ass if he does.," said Yamato.

"We're not sure what's going on. But it seems like he helped us out. Let's at least figure out what's going on.," said Zoro as the others nodded.

"Well, the Log Pose isn't working. Better to listen to one of the natives.," said Nami.

"Didn't wake up expecting things would turn out like this...," said Sanji as he glanced at a floating eyeball with wings fly towards the sky before being eaten by a mouth with red lips while Carrot, Usopp, Chopper, Franky, and Brook were aghast at the sight.

With that, the ships went towards the island covered in square buildings with expressive faces.

On the head of the mysterious stranger sitting down on the larger ship was a straw hat with a red/blue/white striped band with googly eyes in the front.

Next Chapter: Absurd Line

Author Notes: This might seem like a random side plot but it's going to be leading to a very large story very soon as hinted by the Five Elders.

This new place is meant to be ridiculous even by One Piece standards- think Alice in Wonderland mixed with Looney Tunes, Disney Cartoons of the old days, and other 30s-40s cartoons to get the gist of it. Also Bobobo-Bo-bo-Bobobobo as a reference.
