Chapter 6: Justice

"Damnit...we underestimated the situation. ," said Beckerman as he sensed the majority of the World Government in Vira.
Shanks gritted his teeth.
The way things are playing out...only a God or the Devil can stop this now..., thought the man.
Vira
Grassland
The Supernovas stepped out of the warp in space along with Minerva leaving the manticore and the living furniture behind.
"Let's see how this plays out.," said the first guard as the second one gave him an exasperated look of disbelief.
The groups then marched onto the grassland above the port but a few miles away from the citadel.
To think he wanted to face Teach immediately rather than dealing with the situation at Vira...If this doesn't pan out...I'll be done running...guess I'll be dying due to the antics of another man of the D facing a fellow D..., thought Minerva as Nami looked concerned.
"Hey, you better help us out. You did save us last time but that could've been for ulterior motives. You ditch to leave us to die- I'll be on you.," said Nami.
"Yeah. Yeah.," Minerva replied.
"The Government...this is my first official scuffle with them. I'm very nervous," said Carrot.
"They're not going to capture me like Kaido.," said Yamato.
"Eek. Those things in the sky look eerie.," said Brook.
"I feel conflicted about those things...," said Jinbe as he noticed his replica amongst the Seraphim.
"Eek!," shouted Usopp as he saw Z.
"That guy looks tough.," said Sanji.
"So does that guy.," Chopper remarked noticing Bullet.
"The problem child of the Roger Pirates and the Marine who shaped the current generation yet turned on them to become a terrorist..yet they seem completely subversive to her...she's probably going to be one of the most difficult if she fights us.," said Jinbe.
"We're surrounded by the W.G, Blackbeard, and Buggy...let's go after Buggy first.," said Franky.
"You ok, Mosh-head?," asked Sanji as Zoro spaced out.
"C'mon. She may be your sis. Maybe she was a bully that made you so traumatized that you wanted to forget...Damnit! Focus on the here and now.," said Sanji.
"Yeah...," Zoro replied.
Robin and Luffy were oddly quiet.
"You sensed him approaching and we didn't get a proper explanation of what's going on in Vira yet. Then you demand me to use an experimental technique to get there quicker. Luffy...I hope this doesn't backfire.," Law cursed.
"Oi, how are we gonna get the Poneglyph now? We have those royal pricks behind us and the W.G in front.," Kid demanded.
"We kick their asses as much as we can...and fight to see who gets the right to use it based on how many we can defeat...we can turn them in for a profit thanks to a certain clown.," said Killer as Kid smirked.
"Yeah, that's true he did do something useful.," said Kid.
The Government forces all had intent eyes on Buggy who felt immensely terrified at the implications.
"How many are you planning to get? Marine Hunter?," asked Crocodile.
"As many as I can before I leave this place.," said Mihawk.
"Eh? We're gonna fight them?," asked Galdino.
"Oh, crap, the Elders, Marine, and almost the entire W.G top Operatives are here. Those must be the Seraphim brats...and could those things in the sky be the Holy Knights? We're gonna die in seconds.," said Apoo.
"Hmm. They're not gonna do that to me before I see Muffy.," said Urouge.
"Who the fuck is Muffy?," asked Kid.
"They better not be attacking our crews as well.," said Bege.
"What a convenient power to travel with. Much better than some Door-Door.," said Urouge which miffed Blueno.
"Damn I was expecting to fight some jackass in charge of this island not the entire military of the world.," Bonney complained.
"What do we do?," asked Shot.
"Zehahahaha. They must be here due to my presence. Oh well, it doesn't interfere with my plans.," said the Pirate Admiral.
"No, this is something much bigger than mere Emperors.," said Koby as white energy ebbed out of him as he broke out of his chains much to the shock of his captor and that of the parties there.
"Good job, Koby.," X Drake muttered.
"So he wasn't a helpless boy after all.," said Hawkins.
Luffy felt some relief.
Law stared at Fullalead Island with Minerva viewing it with a sense of longing.
"So you were luring us to a trap? And I thought you were warming up to me," said Blackbeard.
"Eh? Coby got himself captured on purpose.," said Usopp.
Suddenly, Kuzan froze the pirates in place via ice as he said-
"Yeah. SWORD has been planning this for a long time. Getting you into a position of weakness. It was also something that the top brass of the Marines was made aware of just after the two former Emperors' defeats. Though to be frank, I'm doing this for HIM."
"Wait, he wasn't a turncoat?" asked a soldier.
"Could this Sengoku's doing?," asked Shiryu.
"Who can say...," said the former Admiral.
Rora almost had a look of longing before recomposing herself.
"Where's Stussy?," asked Kalifa as she looked at one of the arriving parties.
"She has a mission to complete. Mission operation takes priority.," said a young girl with short pale cyan hair and vacant red blue eyes with yellow cross-shaped pupils wearing a white business suit.
"Smite of God" Cutty Talos- Leader of 5th Seat of CP0.
Around her was a group of Cipher Pol elites-
A man in a dashing black suit with combed brown hair, sparkling green eyes, and ridiculous handsome features. He was hiding in a trash bin in spite of being too big for it.
"Best Secret Agent"- Double O. Seven- Leader of CP1.
A tall man with a hook nose, wearing a variation of the uniform with a deerskin hat, a frock coat with white undershirt dress pants, and shoes with a black Inverness cape worn over the coat. He smoked on a wooden, polished pipe.
"Keen-Eyed"- Holmes Doyle- Leader of CP2.
He was accompanied by a round man with a short mustache, dressed in a black suit with a black bowler hat.
"Observing Learner"- Arthur Watson- CP2 Vice Leader.
a young man with swirly glasses, large incisors, and a black bowl-cut hairstyle presses his glasses confidently.
"Genius"- Geek Poindexter- CP3 Leader.
A young woman with beige shaggy short hair, green eyes, and freckles on her cheeks. She wore a black derby hat and a black suit. She had a Den-Den-Mushi set on her at all times.
"Daily Reporter" Graham Ida- CP4 Leader.
A square-jawed muscular man with glasses combed black hair, and a black suit crosses his arms.
"Civil Worker of the People" Kent Clark- CP5 Leader.
An extremely tall man, His head is twice as big as a regular person's. His legs are extremely long. His hair and beard are white while his mustache is black. He wears a suit, and he has a yellow pin of the World Government symbol on the right side of his chest. He personally wears red gloves that he uses for boxing.
"Boxing Agent"- Jerry- CP6 Leader.
A white-fluffy-haired pudgy man with a disproportionate handsome face. He wears a black shirt unbuttoned, revealing his chest, a yellow scarf, black pants with an orange belt, and roller skates. The back of his jacket reads "MAD". On both his forearms, He has tattooed the kanji for fist. He also wears a white chef's jacket with the World Government's symbol on its back.
"Cooking Agent"- Wanze- CP7 Leader.
An average-sized portly man, with grayish blonde hair, sideburns, and a mustache. He has a scar running across the right side of his face and wears the standard government official uniform, consisting of a white shirt with a black tie, a dark blue suit with the World Government logo on the left side, and a dark blue brimmed hat.
"The Crooked Agent"- Corgi- CP8 Leader.
And a large bald middle-aged muscular man with closed eyes, white buzz-cut hair, and a black suit.
"Cold Fist"- Coca Cole- CP9 Leader.
"It's good to see you, Senior.," said Cole to Lucci.
"I see some of these bastards I recognize managed to work their way up the chain of command.," said Sanji as he noticed the grandiose medals detailing their numbers.
Additionally, there was an unusual pair even by the standards of the agents leading them-
A massive dark-green Dreadnoughtus humanoid with a proper brachiosaur head, unlike Queen, dressed in a white business suit.
"Ancient Thunder"- Madara- Leader of the 1st Seat of CP0.
The second was a yellow-iris-eyed Great Grey Owl of equally large size dressed in a white suit.
"Silent Night"- Yoru- Leader of the 2nd Seat of CP0.
What was strange was that they didn't have the visual aspects of being hybrid Zoans...being rather like Minks with functional hands like humans.
"That's impossible...I thought they went extinct...they're Archosaurians.," said Jinbe.
"Wait, they're not Zoans.," said Sanji.
"I've heard about them- they were a race of bird and reptilian people including crocodilians and dinosaur-like forms somehow- they were wiped out by the World Government according to the official statements.," said Brook.
"Wait, they're a race like Minks?," asked Carrot.
"To think the world's even bigger than we imagined. I'll definitely record this.," said Yamato.
"Guess they spare races when they're convenient.," remarked Franky.
"So Koby was fine after all. Then why-" Jinbe said.
"Wait...why are THEY here then? Could it be related to this Maxamilllion?" he pondered.
"Robin's looking very mad.," Carrot noted as she saw Robin trembling at the sight of one of the two biggest major players in the group- the Five Elders.
"That's...," said Jinbe.
"Who're those geezers and that old guy?," asked Sanji.
"The Five Elders...the highest authority in the World Government...all of the former Warlords, the Marines, Cipher Pol, and all associates bowed to them. If they say an island needs to go. It goes. If a person needs to disappear- that person never existed. Such is their power.," said Law.
"Really? Why are they here instead of their high and mighty pedestal?," asked Kid.
"Something happening here must really acquire their full attention. They wouldn't be outside Mary Geoise, let alone leading an attack force if it weren't the case.," said Bonney.
"They're likely figureheads that obey out of tradition.," said Apoo.
"I'm not reading that vibe.," said Bege.
"To think that HE said that Maxamillion survived with his son when Dragon attacked by hiding THERE and making an army...," whispered a stout yet muscular elder with a short white beard, a scar on the left side of his face, a black square hat over his head, wearing a black skullcap over neck-length gray dreadlocks, and holding a walking cane.
"Iron Club"-? Ezekiel- Overseer of the SSG Project/Head of Weapons for the World Government/Head of the Science Division of the World Government/One of the Five Elders.
"Can we get this over with? Stussy said that during one of the meetings- the Underworld is planning something massive. And we might need to replace HIM with an agent that can control the Underworld for our benefit.," said the seemingly youngest of the five, a tall and well-built man who sports blond hair combed to the right, a short beard of the same color, and a scar on his chest. He also wears his suit with the shirt buttons open, and without a tie. He also has faint eyebrows symbolic of the Vinsmoke family.
"Master of the Air, Land, and Sea"- David-? David- Head of Interracial Politics/Head of the Judgement Corps/Overseer of the Judicial System of the World Government/One of the Five Elders.
"Damn that Maxamillion. He's always lacked the restraint to control his impulses. And now he's planning something to usurp us and HIM I bet.," said a slim yet fit elder that was bald and wearing a white gi, which contrasted with the others. He wore round glasses, the only member to be bespectacled. He also held a samurai sword with him. He is the only one of the five to not have visible facial hair.
"Tenryu Shinken (Heavenly Dragon of the Divine Sword)"? Byakuō- Head of The Military Defense of the World Government/Head of ARMOR/Former Overseer of the Warlord System/One of the Five Elders.
"Hopefully, we can deal with him in the midst of the chaos.," said a stout round-headed bald elder with large birthmark spots on his forehead and a large white mustache.
"Walrus Warlord"-? Darwin- Head of Cipher Pol and World News Distribution/Overseer of the Marines/Head of Information Distribution/One of the Five Elders.
"Is that Minerva? To think that she's involved in this like HE said. This must be larger than a mere coupe. Could it be involving OLD WORLD...and them?" pondered a tall and thin bearded elder with long white hair, both on his head- reaching his upper back and a long beard- who seemed to have the most authority over the group.
"Wind Meister"-? Abraham- Head of the Historical Records/Head of the Holy Knights/Overseer of the Religious Aspect of the World Government/One of the Five Elders.
Memories of her home island, her fellow scholars, her mother, and her friend, Jaguar D. Saul- all dying on their orders- now standing more yards from her.
She posed herself for battle.
"Robin...," said Nami.
"Demonio Fleur!," she declared as she summoned a giant copy of her upper body with her double featuring several extra appendages such as a pair of bat-like wings, shaded skin, fangs, and horns, giving it the appearance of a traditional devil.
It generated legs as it lunged at them.
"Oh, it's the survivor of Ohara. We did make sure to eliminate all the survivors. Though admittedly this is hyperbole as some likely slipped through the cracks and are being hunted down as we speak.," said Ezekiel.
"She really does resemble a demon now.," said Byakuō.
"Sakazuki's likely going to finish what he started which makes things easier for us.," said David.
Darwin and Abraham said nothing.
Robin then noticed a man appearing behind her.
He was an incredibly tall, light-tan-skinned, unusually muscular man with a square-shaped face, very pronounced facial features, and short black hair. The right side of his neck and face is scarred, and a chunk of his right ear is missing. In addition to his injuries, he also has a mustache and goatee. He wears a white double-buttoned suit with a red floral pattern shirt underneath and wears orange gloves. He wears the standard Marine cap.
Fleet Admiral Sakazuki- Akainu "The Red Dog".
"You're finally open in the open. Eliminating you will allow certain information from being exposed. Your existence is a crime in itself.," said the man as he generated a magma-covered fist with hellhound heads popping out and gnashing.
It stopped mid-attack and dissipated inches from them.
Damn, I forgot about him! thought Robin.
"Fleet Admiral!," shouted several of the Marines.
Zoro attempted to guard but he was hesitating unconsciously.
Shit, is it because I saw her?, thought Zoro.
Sanji noticed this hesitation and shouted-
"What're you doing?!"
Robin prepared for the worst but then Luffy's own fist blocked the Fleet Admiral's.
Memories of his sworn brother, Ace went through his mind-
Luffy's Past
"Get lost." said the youngest version of Ace he met.
"Your dream's that...funny.," said the Ace once he got more comfortable with him.
"Don't kill me off like that.," said Ace.
"Let's meet again when you've gotten stronger.," said the now young man Ace.
"Sorry that my brother is like this.," said Ace as they were reunited.
"To think I'd be saved by you.," said Ace as he rescued him.
"Thank you for loving me.," Ace's final words range as he fell to the ground with a smile as Luffy cried in despair.
Present
"Protecting her will only delay the inevitable. Her existence is a sin and it's by the code of Justice that she'll be exterminated.," said the man.
His skin's not burning., he realized as Luffy was in Gear 5.
"Two years ago I was too weak to do anything about you. This time I can do something about you.," he said as he wrapped his arm around Sakazuki's arm and began to hoist him up and began to throw him back and forth like a metronome.
"Fleet Admiral!," shouted several of the Marines.
What's this power?! It defies logic!, thought the Fleet Admiral.
Suddenly, David blitzed toward Robin and strangled her as he hoisted her upward before anyone realized it.
So fast!, thought Law.
"Your defiant stare...reminds me of Olvia...foolish woman...choosing HIM of all people over me...," he muttered.
"You knew my mother on a personal level?," asked Robin.
"Nothing worth telling a dead woman about.," he replied.
"Damn! he's fast! Guess they are strong!," shouted Luffy.
Sanji in a fit of rage engulfed himself in blue flames.
"No I need to go even hotter!" he shouted as the blue flames turned white as he blitzed him- the energy for the power coming from Sakazuki's own magma arm in the form of white spheres as Sanji subconsciously absorbed them- allowing for the transformation of his flame level as white spiral markings appeared on his legs. The air turned humid as even the nearby grass cut fire from the intense heat.
"It's white...not sure how that happened but I feel stronger.," he noted.
"Sanji! Kick his ass!," shouted Chopper.
"Fallen Jambe- Premiere Course!," he shouted as he leaped upwards and did a downward kick on David's left shoulder.
However, he noticed white spiral markings on David's attacked shoulder.
"So you can use Magic too, at least the more physical type.," said the man as he turned to look at Sanji by turning his head 360 degrees behind him.
"What are you? Some kind of owl?," asked Sanji.
"I want to end this quickly as possible. I don't like being here.," said the man before he noticed the arms sprouting all over his body.
"Cathedral of Chasity.," said the man as white energy with cross-shaped particles ebbed out extending outwards as Sanji and Robin were forced out of the man's range- it took the form of a dome covered in cathedral-like structures with white cannons mounted on them and gargoyles perched on the edges.
"What the?," asked Sanji.
"Shadow of Humility is about the manipulation of shadows to travel to and from locations as well as a lesser manipulation of shadows compared to the Shadow-Shadow. Cathedral of Chasity is about generating the ultimate defense and offense sphere or armor automatically attacks those who are the user's enemies.," he explained.
"Creating a construct from nothing? And it's not a Devil Fruit power?," asked Robin.
"How is that possible?," asked Sanji.
"Because it's something that mere Pirates will never comprehend- Justice. For 400 years after a Certain Man erased the Knowledge from the government to keep the world more manageable and give the criminals a fighting chance forcing us to invent the Six Powers as a substitute- ironic given that we usually do the same to others. Vegapunk in addition to making the Seraphim. Vegapunk discovered a means to allow for the Justice techniques to be rediscovered. Now from the lowest Spandam to the highest Elder to the highest Fleet Admiral to the lowest Seaman. Seraphim to Holy Knight, etc. All are capable of using it. It is far superior to mere Haki.," said David.
"Why am I a measurement?," asked Spandam in the distance.
The torrents are positioned toward Sanji and Robin as they charged white energy.
"Bombardment of Baptism!," David declared as it shot out spheres of white energy as Sanji grabbed Robin and used his Moonwalk to travel into the skies. The cannons repositioned to fire above.
"I can't move in time...guess I have to use that.," he cursed as he generated his butterfly wings and transformed into a womanly version of himself as he dodged the projectiles.
Rather than him dodging, the Elders were more surprised at what Sanji had turned into.
"Impossible...after 800 years ago...to think that HER power would return in this age?" muttered Ezekiel.
David widened his eyes and furrowed his brow into a sense of repressed anger.
"Where did you get that?" asked the man as the sphere began to fluctuate.
"David you need to apply your Vision of Patience.," said Ezekiel.
White energy with cross particles formed around his head in the shape of a white crown made of thorny vines as his expression became neutral and the sphere once again became stable.
"So he has the Bug-Bug: Mab. It would be troublesome if the Dwarfs learned about this...and how it could affect how they view their history.," said the man.
"He's a woman now? I thought only the Horm-Horm Fruit could affect genders. That...has to be an unfortunate power...," said a tall man standing at a similar height to Momonga, who is 8'3, he is also a well-built individual. His most distinctive feature is his handlebar mustache. His hair is black and combed back. He dresses in the typical garb of many high-ranking Marines with his variation having a yellow and black striped suit over a dark red shirt with an orange tie. He wears a marine coat hanging from his shoulders like a cape.
Stainless-Vice Admiral.
"Thanks. Sanji. Your power is very helpful.," said Robin.
Sanji then thought of a fantasy of having a twosome with Nami and Robin in this womanly state as he had a blush.
"Guess it's useful for a lot of stuff...," said Luffy before he noticed his arm was steaming. He saw Sakazuki covered in white knight armor as white particles ebbed over him to cover his form.
"Cathedral of Chastity: Loyal Dog of Justice.," Sakazuki declared as Luffy released his grip.
"Ow! That hurt!," shouted Luffy.
"It would hurt. Justice is Ambition focused on one's justice rather than ambition alone. It's more pure and divine.," he said as his Haki slowly gave way as it was assimilated into the Justice.
"If I can't touch you then-," Luffy said.
Luffy then attempted a ranged Infusion on Sakazuki but it had a weird recoil as Luffy rolled on the ground in pain.
"It's both interior and exterior. You've likely conquered the Grand Line by Haki alone but this new Development of Justice has put you in your place. There's no energy superior to Justice.," said Sakazuki before he looked at Kuzan.
So you went undercover as a spy for SWORD? SWORD's an organization even I know little about in terms of its operations- let alone its founder...regardless, you'll have a lot of explaining to do..., thought the Fleet Admiral.
Kuzan then approached Teach.
"You had your fun but you're going to be locked up in Impel Down. Since you were done there before- it could be a second home before you die for your crimes.," he said.
"Kuzan...no Aokiji...You likely learned about Justice when we were over there...Rayleigh and Seraphim made me realize how I needed to improve...and you were more focused on your mission alongside Koby that you didn't think to really check whenever my crew went somewhere you didn't know about...," said the Emperor.
"What are you talking about?," asked Kuzan.
Blackbeard then released powerful purple energy resembling flames covered in wailing skull faces.
"If there's Justice...then it stands to reason there's an antithesis. Yes, I have Injustice!," he shouted as he broke out of the ice and punched Kuzan so hard that he propelled towards Avalot castle. His fist was noticeably covered in black flame marks.
"What a freaky Haki...no it feels very different.," Sanji noted.
"Wrath Punch! Injustice is about harnessing a variation of Ambition via negative thoughts which counters Justice that relies on positive thoughts. It corrupts and destroys its touches. I learned this from HEL itself!" Blackbeard declared.
Luffy noticed the figure of the former Admiral about to collide with the castle when a large wall made of bone rose to protect the castle.
The Government forces turned to see Rora having placed her hand on the ground with the trail of bones originating from her fingertips.
"What? She can do weird stuff with bones?," asked Luffy.
"So the reports of her death were exaggerated. Meaning Maxamilion and his progeny are very much alive.," said Darwin.
"A Paramecia of that skill going under the radar? And she managed to get Z and Bullet to serve her? Why was this kept from me?," asked Sakazuki.
"I can't have you, strangers, destroy my home. Let's fight somewhere more durable.," Rora said.
"These strange powers...we've never experienced something like this before.," said Robin.
She then noticed Omegoro somehow on a Vice Admiral's tall hat.
"That boy...," said Robin.
"Odd...I don't remember this toy in my room.," said the boy.
"Omegoro! What're you doing here?" asked Rora with a much more concerned look.
"Where'd the kid come from?" asked Stainless as the boy got off the Vice Admiral.
He then turned to the Army and asked-
"Mind leaving?"
Several swords jutted out of his clothes before he held them in a weird position five swords between the spaces of his fingers and another in his mouth.
"No...," said Sanji as Zoro stared in baffled confusion.
"11 Sword Style.," said the boy.
"YOU HAVE A YOUNGER BROTHER?!," shouted Sanji.
Suddenly, several Knights rode in from a distance away with a flag depicting a tree.
Mihawk scowled.
