A warm morning crimson sun rose over the horizon of Mélamar, bathing the skies of the Fëa Kingdom in hues of red, orange, and yellow, casting an almost unearthly glow upon the Fëa Palace. No sound broke the silence of the sleeping halls in the Palace save the soft rhythmic plattering of a small child's bare feet on the stone floors.

Shortly enough, the child had stopped running by this point and was looking around at her surroundings, revealing eyes the color of moonstones in the early morning sunlight. Shoulder-length of silver hair covered her scalp, making some effort to conceal her small pointed ears. As the small child steps out from a corner, she heard an elderly voice of a woman behind her small form startling her.

"My goodness, Elvdra, how in the world did you manage to get this far out of bed without someone seeing you?" Lillian asked in disbelief, walking to the small child's side so Lillian could return Elvdra to her chambers to get dress for the day and out of her nightgown.

Unlike most around the Fëa Palace, Lillian was only half Fëa and half Dwarf with light brown hair that reached down to her mid-back and was swept back into thick braids.

"I found a book. It looks very old. I want to show mommy it and see if she will read it to me." Elvdra said softly as if she might wake the whole Palace from its slumber.

"A book?" Lillian exclaimed in disbelief. A quick glance at Elvdra's small hands confirmed what book the child wanted to know about. "Well, how about that. You found a very old book indeed." A warm smile dominated Lillian's face as her motherly instincts kicked in at the sight of the little Fëa child holding onto the book tightly. "Come, child. I'm sure your mother would love to tell you all about that book."

"Thank you, Lillian." Elvdra smiled innocently at her caretaker. After walking and going through so many hallways they both finally reached another bedroom chamber. With a gentle knock on the door, Lillian and little Elvdra waited to be called in.

"You may enter." Came a female voice that was gentle and comfort on the other side of it. When the door opened the two saw, a woman that looked to be in her late 20's that was just finishing a nutritious breakfast for the morning. But looks can be deceiving by the races of Fëas, dragons, elves, witches, demons, and merfolks.

The woman had knee-length silver-blue hair with small bits of gems stones braided into her hair. Her pale skin glowing slightly in the warm morning sunlight as she looked at her 500 year old daughter with her electric-blue eyes.

"Naneth (Mommy)!?" Elvdra smiled as she ran as fast as her little legs would carry her small form and holding onto the book tightly as she could.

"What is it, Elvdra? Is there something that you need, my Little Water?" Elvdra's mother asked her gently with a kind smile on her face towards her daughter. Without hesitation, Elvdra showed her the old book.

"This…The Legend of Calithil: The Fate of Two Hearts…Where did you…?" The woman asked startled and confused on how her youngest daughter got a hold of it. Elvdra looked down slightly out of guilt and embarrassment as she whispered her answer.

"In…Ada's (father's) small library in the back of his office. I'm sorry for taking it without permission. But would you read it to me, please Naneth (mommy)?" Elvdra looked up at her mother with big puppy eyes.

"Oh alright, my child. It seems it is time to tell you about what happened over 2,000 years ago. Come sit down with me." Overly excited, Elvdra ran all the way to her mother's side as they both moved to the bed and sat on her lap. As Elvdra got comfortable, her mother opened the book in front of them both and started the long story that the book offered them.

"Now long ago, there once was a legend that involved many generations of females of different races that were named Calithil when darkness rised in Mélamar. This book tells the story of one young Fëa woman and how her fate came to be. It all started with her coming from another world"
