Chapter 4- Taking out the other threats

Los Angeles, Hyperion Hotel

The sisters were surprised to see Cordelia there, as Cordelia asked. "What?"

"Nothing, you just look like someone we used to know", Phoebe said, sounding a bit sad now, due to Kyra.

"Like, similar or the same?" Cordelia asked.

"Exactly the same", Piper said from her end, and Cordelia had a strange look on her face.

"Weird", she muttered.

"She could have visions as well like you do", Paige added. "And she was a Demon, but a better one."

"Okay, really weird", Cordelia had to say now, with Wesley, Lorne, Fred and Gunn nearby too, Connor sleeping in his pram.

"He is so cute", Paige said, walking to Connor and cooing over him, as Piper had to join obviously.

"Perhaps we can think about these doppelgangers later", Wesley suggested. "As strange as they sound."

"Oh yeah, because the talk is weirding me out", Gunn muttered.

Phoebe felt something, and another vision hit her, this time of Holtz talking to some kind of Demon who had very long hair, pale skin, and scars on his face.

"Phoebe?" Piper turned to her with Paige.

"Yeah, had a vision", Phoebe said, before looking down at the sketch of Holtz she'd been shown.

"About what?" Fred inquired.

"This Holtz guy, first of, he looked like Zahn, and he was talking to some kind of Demon", Phoebe explained to them. "Long hair, pale skin, scars on the face, that's all I got."

"Maybe the Book of Shadows could have something", Paige said, before orbing away.

A few minutes later, she was back, holding the Book of Shadows, and put it on the table.

They gathered over the Book of Shadows, Paige turning its pages until Phoebe noticed the Demon from her vision. "This was him."

"Sahjhan", Lorne read the name. "Got to say, never heard of this guy."

"He belongs to the Granok species", Paige read. "They are very violent, but were rendered incorporeal. And they can time-shift as well."

"So he is the one who brought Holtz back", Angel realized the culprit behind this. "But why would he have done that?"

"Could be any number of reasons", Wesley shrugged. "Either way, I think we will have to capture him now, and deal with Holtz too."

Same time, Sunnydale

Dean, Sam and Buffy had finally managed to track the lair of the Trio, and Dean kicked the door open, making the three turn to them as they gulped.

"Oh, what do have here? A bunch of children thinking they're grown-ups!" Dean quipped, Warren paling just from the way he looked and talked.

"You thought you could screw with my life and my friends' lives and then get away with it?" Buffy demanded angrily.

"Look, Buffy… we were just playing around…" Andrew said nervously.

"Who are you again?" Buffy asked, not recognizing him.

"Tucker's brother." Andrew said.

"Oh." Buffy said.

"You can't kill us and you can't arrest us." Warren taunted.

"We don't have to do either. We just have to teach you a lesson." Sam said as Warren tried to use a vanishing spell but Sam pulled out a bag of dust from his pocket at that point. "Dispelling recipe. No magic." He said, smirking.

"So… how many broken bones?" Dean asked, smirking as he cracked his fingers.

"Oh, you can't beat us! Together we're—" Warren started gloating when Jonathan ran to the Winchesters and Buffy, looking apologetic and very scared.

"Look, they made me! It was their idea! I wanted nothing to do with it!" Jonathan yelled in panic as he ran off before Warren and Andrew gulped, while Dean and Sam cracked their necks and knuckles and rolled up their sleeves and Buffy seethed, clenching her fists.

"Can't believe I got a hard time from those three morons." Buffy muttered, while drinking with Dean and Sam in the Bronze. "Never underestimating guys like them again now."

"They really need to get better lives." Dean said.

"So, to taking down these three morons." Sam said as they toasted, clinking their bottles.

"What about Jonathan?" Dean asked.

"Nah. He's not bad… he's just… had a lot. He probably got manipulated easily, but he can be better" Buffy said.

"But the other two… total morons." Sam smirked.

Warren and Andrew were in Sunnydale Hospital on stretchers, all of them covered in body casts, their hands and legs hanging, while the nurse brought them trays of food. Warren and Andrew tried to move to eat the food but they accidentally tossed the trays down on the floor as both of them whined in pain and sadness, not believing how utterly beaten and humiliated they were and made a mental vow never to cross Buffy again, due to how much Dean as well as Sam had now scared them.

Buffy was going out of the Bronze with Dean and Sam, when Spike appeared, passing by them. "Hello luv."

"Spike", Buffy greeted him, as Dean and Sam looked at the two.

"Been a while", Spike told her, walking to her as they were a little apart, and then he looked at Dean and Sam. "Who're those?"

"Trust me, you don't want to know", Buffy said, while Spike tilted his head at her.

"Are you…?" Spike asked, and Buffy realized what he was thinking.

"Seriously, you think that now?" Buffy asked, walking off. "Stay away from me!"

"Oh come on!" Spike cried out. "I'm sorry, Buffy!"

But she didn't listen, and walked off, while Dean and Sam looked at Spike for a few seconds, who adjusted his leather jacket and then walked into the Bronze, while Dean and Sam followed Buffy.

"This guy…." Buffy muttered about Spike while rubbing her head.

"You know", Dean said to Buffy. "Not my place to say, but if that's your boyfriend or anything like that, you have bad taste in men."

"Really?" Buffy turned to Dean but he looked unapologetic.

"Come on Dean", Sam tapped his brother's shoulder but Dean just shrugged.

"Well, Angel is my ex", Buffy now revealed.

"So your taste is even worse than I thought", Dean said and started chuckling, making Buffy groan.

"Oh come on!"

Piper, Paige and Phoebe had made a symbol in the middle of the Hyperion, and now, they did a chant, making the entire hotel shake while the lights went on and off everywhere, and Connor cried but Angel held him for comfort.

And then, next moment, Sahjhan appeared in the middle of the symbol. He tried to get out of it but a force field prevented him from getting out. "What have you all done to me?"

"Why are you after me?" Angel asked, making Sajhan turn to him now. "We know you brought Holtz to the present day."

"As if I would tell you all", Sajhan shrugged. "You lot don't know what I can do, I've faced worse than anything you all can do to-"

Paige and Phoebe both threw their truth potions at him. While the force field prevented him from getting out, it didn't prevent anything from going in.

The potions exploded on him, and while he was intangible, the force field had made him tangible as long as he was inside it, and so he was affected when the fog surrounded him before fading.

"Tell us why you brought Holtz into the present", Paige then demanded at that point.

"To kill that little kid there", Sahjhan gestured to Connor, making Angel glare at him in rage, and Cordelia as well.

"What did he ever do to you?" Cordelia inquired, her fists clutched, and Piper could feel how both of them were feeling, since Gideon had tried to kill hers and Leo's baby too.

"The prophecy in the Nyazian Scrolls states that a child fathered by a Vampire with the soul would kill me", Sahjhan revealed, as all of them shared looks of surprise.

"Well, the prophecy is clearly wrong", Angel snarled, before lifting up a Resikhian urn. "Because you're gonna stay in this forever."

Wesley, the forward thinker, decided to ask Sahjhan one more question before he was gone. "Is bringing Holtz to kill Connor all you have done regarding him? Or is there anything else?"

"I travelled back in time and altered the prophecy regarding my death to instead say 'The Father will kill the Son', implying Angel would kill the boy", Sahjhan said, shocking them all even more.

"Is the prophecy true now or what?" Piper asked.

"No, it's a fake made by me", Sahjhan shrugged.

"Well, goodbye now", Angel told Sahjhan, as he opened the urn, and Sahjhan was sucked into with a scream, and he shut it.

Then, he looked at the sisters. "Thank you for your help."

"No problem", Phoebe assured him.

"I was translating the prophecy, good thing this came out in time", Wesley muttered. "Now I believe Holtz will be dealt with."

Holtz had gathered Justine and two more people by now, when someone kicked the door open, making them turn to see John Winchester.

"Who are you?" Holtz asked.

"My name is John Winchester, huge fan of you, Daniel Holtz", John told him as he walked closer. "I read up about you. Your tricks to catch Vampires, very ingenious, I don't think anyone can beat you in Vampire hunting."

"Are you here to join me?" Holtz then asked.

"Oh no", John shook his head, before suddenly slugging Holtz, sending him staggering away. Holtz was shocked by John's reflexes, since with most other people, he'd have seen it coming.

Unlike Justine, who had the skills and drive but lacked the experience, this John Winchester clearly was doing this thing for a long time, and would be a tough opponent.

Holtz charged him to strike but John blocked before elbowing him back. Justine tried to attack him but was kicked away, and as the other two tried to attack, John punched one on the face and the other on the throat, sending them both down.

Holtz leapt at John, grabbing him from behind and struggling with him, trying to smash his head on the wall, but John freed himself and managed to flip Holtz over and onto the ground, before smashing his boot on Holtz as well.

"You know, while I admire your work, I think you're pretty unreasonable. You're blaming Angel for things he did without a soul", John told him.

"What would you do if he killed your family?" Holtz asked him.

"Well, I wouldn't go after innocent children", John replied to him, before taking out a gun and shooting Holtz between the eyes, killing him. "Sorry, but I had to do that."

Sunnydale

Willow was sitting on the sofa, before hearing footsteps, and looked up to see Tara approach.

"Hi."

"Hi."

"You must be disappointed in me", Willow muttered, looking away from her. "I used magic again, and not too long after the whole mess with Dawnie."

But Tara's response surprised her. "No."

Willow looked up at her. "What?"

"You used magic to help us in defeating the Demon", Tara pointed out to Willow. "Different from using it for yourself."

"I'm scared", Willow muttered, holding her knees to her chest now as she curled up. "I let its allure corrupt me, and it took over me. Now, I used it again. Will the same thing happen to me?"

"Well, Paige, Piper and Phoebe are there to help you", Tara pointed out to Willow as she sat next to her now. "I don't think it will happen to you now with them looking out for you."

"That's the hope", Willow sighed.

"And, you know, Paige told me she went to visit Giles after meeting you", Tara revealed to Willow, who was shocked. "She gave him a bit of a scolding for not helping you with your magic."

"Oh!" Willow said. "She didn't have to-"

"I think she is right", Tara told Willow. "I mean, yeah, you are responsible, but you're not the only one. Giles was the adult here, and he understands how magic can corrupt someone. But he just left, he never tried to help you."

"He did warn me once or twice though", Willow tried to say.

"And does he really expect someone who just discovered magic and is excited by its prospects to stop because he gave one or two vague warnings?" Tara asked, and Willow realized she had a point there. "He should have guided you, or have another experienced Witch guide you, instead of letting you learn on your own, which is how this happened." She looked at Willow. "But I'm sure Paige, Piper and Phoebe won't let this happen to you again."

Willow sighed, nodding, before muttering. "I wish things could be fixed though." She didn't look at Tara. "I'm a fool to think that. Sorry I brought it up."

But, Tara held Willow's hand, to her surprise. "I'm not gonna forget it, Willow, it really hurt you did that to me." Then she looked at her. "But, if you work through it, I can forgive, and try to work it out."

"Really?" Willow asked, looking at her.

"But one step at a time."

"That works for me, as long as it works for you."

While it would take time, the two Witches had now started rebuilding their relationship.

One week later

The Scoobies, Team Angel and the Winchesters had been invited to dinner at the Halliwell Manor, and there both Dean and Sam saw Fred enter, which shocked them.

"Andrea?" Sam cried out, making Fred look at them in confusion.

"Who's Andrea?" Fred asked, and both of them shared a look. "My name's Winifred."

"Damn! Doppelgangers in one world", Dean muttered. "Weird."

Buffy was here too, and had left Dawn with Tara, when she heard Angel. "Buffy!"

Buffy turned to Angel. "Hey Angel."

"I wanted to say something to you", he said.

"Sure, please do tell."

"Well, I kind of noticed how you were being with your friends here", Angel told her. "And I know why, its due to the resurrection, isn't it?"

Buffy looked depressed now. "I was at peace in Heaven, now I'm back here, it just feels like Hell. I miss that peace, that good feeling."

"Look, I get it", Angel told her. "I may not have been there, but I get it, as I've been dead too. But, punishing your friends over it isn't gonna do anything. And they had good reason to believe you were in a Hell Dimension rather than in Heaven."

"I know", Buffy sighed. "But its…..its just so hard."

"Life is meant to be hard, Buffy. Even if you hadn't died, it'd have been a hard life", Angel pointed out to her. "I know its ironic coming from me, but you've a second chance too. You should try living it, and stop cutting them out. Dawn needs you too, you know?"

While Buffy still wasn't fully convinced, Angel's words did have some effect on her, as they put her into thought.

"Thanks Angel", she said, before walking off, Angel glad he'd managed to do right by her this time.

Later, as dinner was almost done, Buffy, Willow, Tara, Dawn, Fred, Cordelia and Anya tried to play with Wyatt and Chris, as well as Connor, but the former two orbed away.

"Oh come on!" Dawn cried out. "We just want to play."

"Do they hate me or what?" Anya asked as Xander rubbed her shoulders.

"Those two kids love messing with ya like that!" Piper called out.

"Yeah, I'm already messed with", Cordelia muttered. "Well, better them than Demons though."

"Right on there", Piper said, as Chris appeared near Angel.

"Hey kiddo", Angel held out his hand but Chris orbed away again.

"Think he hates the emo vibe", Dean commented, making the rest snicker, as Angel gave him a look.

"He's part Whitelighter, they're sensitive to evil", Leo pointed out as he came in and lifted Chris. "You're not evil, but your Vampiric nature counts as evil."

"That sucks", Angel sighed, as soon, dinner came in, and the Scoobies, Team Angel, the Charmed Ones and their husbands, and the Winchesters all sat together to eat.

"Paige", Willow said, making Paige look at her. "I think I'm ready to come to that magic school now."

"Oh! Great", Paige said. "We'll help you harness your power properly there."

"Can I come too?" Tara asked. "Like, I know I'm not your charge but-"

"Sure you can", Leo assured her. "The school is for good magic-users to learn their full potential and harness it. You're no different from any of them."

"Thank you", Tara said, and Leo nodded, as all of them continued to eat.

"Well, this whole thing was a mess, but I'm glad to get new friends", Sam finally said, and none could disagree with him on that point, not even Dean.

They were all warriors against evil from different walks of life, and now, with them united like this, evil would have to watch out.

That's the final chapter done. Dean and Sam taught Warren and Bastardrew a lesson.

Holtz is dead at John's hands, and Sahjhan is dealt with, while he already revealed the prophecy was a fake due to the truth potion so Wesley won't make a mess later, and the Trio won't make any messes later too, so things are fine.

I am a huge fan of Spike and Season 7 Spuffy, frankly, Ensouled Spike and his character arc as well as Spuffy, along with the action scenes and the series finale are the only reasons I even give Season 7 the time of the day (the bullshit in 6x19 cost the show almost all of my goodwill), but Season 6 Spuffy is a toxic mess and both of them need to get their heads out of their asses here.

So I'm thinking Buffy here gets her wakeup call a bit early and breaks it off with Spike, and the stuff in 6x13 never happened so it doesn't get worse or anything. And then Spike gets his soul, though its not as strong a motivation as in the show, but considering how badly written Season 6 was after Tabula Rasa, who cares? And this is the only way it'd work in this specific verse.

So now Willow and Tara start rebuilding their relationship, and go to the Magic School, and the Winchesters have allies to help them out for the future.

Sahjhan would have removed references to himself here and there but the Book of Shadows can't be tampered with by evil so he couldn't have removed any references to himself there.

Amy Acker was Andrea in Supernatural 1x3, hence the reactions of Dean and Sam, LOL!

Now 'Supernatural' is part of my fanfiction résumé as well with this little crossover story by me, and with this done, I can go back to binging Supernatural, starting from Season 3 now.

One part of this was taken from Bl4ckHunter's 'The Winchesters pounce on the Trio' so thank you to him.

And thanks a lot to Bl4ckHunter and Marcus S. Lazarus for their suggestions in general here.

With that, this short story comes to an end. Thank you to all who read, favorited, followed, kudos'ed, bookmarked or commented on it, much appreciated.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with some other story.
