Nice reviews only please! :) Xx
Putzie may be a greaser but since he was the youngest of the T-Birds, the guys are very protective of him. Meaning he can't rumble, drink or even smoke. Luckily he broke his folks, older brothers and Danny down to let him get himself a switchblade. But only for emergencies. So one day Putzie and Danny were walking home from Frosty after they dropped off Sandy and Abby. The pair wanted to walk because it was a nice evening. Anyway, as the boys were getting close to Putzie's house, Putzie pulled out his switchblade. "Hey Zuko, let's play rumble." He suggested flipping the switchblade up in the air.
Danny chuckles at his best friend.
"Grow up Putz." Danny smiled.
"Oh come on please!" Putzie begged.
"No Putzie." Danny orders. "Switchblades are not toys."
Putzie rolls his eyes.
"Besides, you'll get hurt." Danny adds.
"How old do ya think I am?!" Putzie asked as he flicked the blade open.
Danny turns to him.
"Now Putzie, I mean it." Danny warns. "Switchblade ain't something to mess around with, it's only for emergencies if some creeps pisses us off."
As Danny turned around, Putzie continued to throw the switchblade up in the air, after the third throw, the switchblade cut his hand.
"Gah!" Putzie screamed.
Danny turned around and ran to Putzie's side, holding his bloody hand.
"Oh Roger." Danny sighed. "Come on."
Danny and Putzie speed-walk to Putzie's house as they enter. They ran upstairs to the bathroom.
"Thankfully Aunt Peyton or Uncle Peter ain't home." Danny muttered.
"C'mon man, it's just a cut." Putzie assured him.
"Well just in case, we need to put medicine on it so it won't get infected." Danny told as he took the first-aid out from under the sink cabinet.
"Man it's gonna sting." Putzie winced.
"Maybe next time you won't be such a Putz." Danny smirked.
Putzie rolls his eyes at him making Danny chuckled.
"Luckily it's not too deep." Danny lets out a sigh as he sprays the medicine on Putzie's wound.
Putzie bites down on his lower lip from the pain.
"It's gonna be ok buddy." Danny said softly. "Remember when we were younger, we used to play Superheroes?"
"Yeah?" Putzie asked, holding his arm for support. "What about it?"
"You wanted to be superman, always wanted to." Danny adds. "So we let you, cause he was your hero."
"Actually I didn't really care about being a superhero, I always had a hero." Putzie started as Danny bandages on Putzie's wound. "I wanted to be like you." He smiled at him.
Danny looks up at him.
"Really?" He asks. "I'm your hero?"
"Of course." Putzie smiled. "I looked up to ya ever since we were 3 or 4 years old…I can always count on you."
Danny smiled as he patted the back of his head.
"Thanks bud." He smiled.
"No problem." Putzie replies. "And it's also the reason why we wanted you to be the leader of the T-Birds."
Danny smiled with a chuckle.
"I uh…I appreciate that kid." Danny tells him.
"And cause you're brave as well." Putzie adds.
"You think I'm brave?" Danny asks.
Putzie nods his head.
"Well it is true." Danny said with a smirk.
Putzie chuckles, making Danny winked at him.
"Ok, you are all set, little brother." Danny announced. "Now promise me you learned ya lessons to NEVER play with switchblades, do I make myself clear?"
"I promise Danny." Putzie said smiling.
They both walked out of the bathroom to go downstairs.
"So now how do I explain to my folks about the bandage on my wound?" Putzie asked him.
"Well…I don't blame them if they take away your switchblade forever." Danny said, again with a smirk.
Putzie rolls his eyes at him.
"Don't be such a buzzkill." Putzie jokes.
"Hey watch it bro." Danny said playfully pushed his head.
"Hey!" Putzie laughed.
"C'mon, let's go see if the game is on television." Danny said, headlocking Putzie.
"Hey Zuko, come on!" Putzie yelled.
Danny chuckled at him as he let him go.
"Get used to it brother." Danny tells him.
They both sat down as Putzie turned on the TV.
"Hey Danny…" Putzie started.
"Yeah?" Danny asked.
"Thanks," Putzie smiled. "For always having my back."
"Ehh, anything for my dork." Danny winked.
Putzie chuckled as they sat back to watch the game.
