DarkWings
"Dark Wings" written by Alicia Danielle Wyatt. Music by Justin Krumweide and Carl Price
performed by Lucid Dreaming on the SRO/RC Music Release: "Lucidity" 1997, 1998,
and the Soundtrack to "The Crow: Love Past Death" (RC Music/Sound Garden Entertainment 1998)

One is for the darkness
that takes away a soul
Two is for the joy
it turns the dark into gold
Three is for a life, so tender and so pure
Four is for the love
All which you know for sure
Five is for gifts of silver and gold
Six for the secrets that you never have told
Seven for the sorrow you keep to yourself
This murder of crows brings down to this hell

See how they fly my love,
Dark winged angels cry above
"Nothing here is left for me."

Will it matter if I come back for you?
Or will you come back for me?
Will you remember the joy in your life (that we shared)
Before I go away?

I will remember you,
I will be back soon,
Never cry a tear for me love.
Always know that I'm watching from above.

See how they fly my love,
Dark wings on angels flying above
They've come to spirit me away.
The dark clouds are closing in,
I'm watching for life to end.
I know I'll be back again.
Nothing ever goes unbroken.

Notes from Carl: This song was written in 1996 or earlier by a girl that I knew and spent some time with. She helped me with alot of things and got my life started on a straighter track. Love you Alicia, without you, this song wouldn't be on the disc. See you on the Echoside.
I had fiddled around with it for a couple of months trying to figure out how to play it on an instrument. Little did I know how much musical talent I didn't have. So I let it sit for a little while Then in 1998 I picked it up again and threw it by a person that I was working with on my bands first cd, which happens to be this one...
