Tag is home alone. Unusual. Usually one of her siblings are home with her. It's not often that her whole family would desert her like this.

"Hello? Mom? Paw?" Tag calls. No response from her parents. Tag calls for her siblings next. "Spike? Gilber? Cheddar Biscuit?" Again, no response. Where did everybody go? Tag sits on the bed, bored. Why would everyone leave her like this? What did she do to deserve this? Tag feels lonely. A feeling she'd never experienced before. Tag decides to check on her neighbor and best pal, Scooch. Tag knocks on Scooch's door. No response. In fact, it seems all of Pawston is gone. Tag is all alone. Why would the whole town up and leave without her? Had she done something wrong?

Suddenly, Tag gets an idea. Maybe everyone is at Pawston Park for something. So that's where she goes to look. The park is empty. Perculiar. Normally the park is always full. But now, it's totally barren. Tag doesn't give up, though. She continues searching for the townspeople. She checks Paw's shop. Nothing. The store is closed too. Where could everyone be? Just then, Tag hears a rustle in the bushes behind her.

She spins around, looking into the shrubbery hoping to find an explanation. But nothing is there. Tag takes another step forward, when she sees movement in the bushes again. "What was-" Tag says as she turns back around. Only… she can' t see anything anymore. There's just grass, and trees. And Tag doesn't know how to find out what's behind them. Tag backs away, slowly and cautiously.

Tag is almost hit by a car that's in a rush somewhere. A box falls out of the back of the speedy car. Tag picks up the box and gets on her scooter to follow the car. Tag has no idea who this person is or why they're in such a hurry. Tag follows the car until they approach the party tree. Tag parks her scooter. She sees Sam Whippet at the bottom of the tree.

"Sam? What's going on?" She asks.

"You'll see," Sam replies. Tag climbs the ladder into the party tree.

"SURPRISE!" the townspeople shout, coming out from there hiding places. All of Pawston is here. They've made a banner and balloons and streamers. Everyone is wearing party hats and holding streamers. A huge cake and other food are laid out on the table. The party is even better than last year's. Tag can't believe her eyes. Tag looks at her mom.

"You did all this for my birthday?" Tag asks.

"It was all Scooch's idea," Maw says. Scooch gives a big smile.

"I figured if we didn't have much else planned today…" he trails off.

"Well, I'm glad you did." Tag hugs Scooch.

"Well, are you gonna kiss?" Spike asks jokingly. Tag grabs Scooch and kisses him. Scooch's eyes widen. He'd never kissed anyone before. He always saw Tag as just a close friend, but this kiss made him realize his true feelings.

"I was just joking..." Spike says. "Isn't there a party going to waste?" Cheddar Biscuit asks. The party starts getting chaotic after that. It's a very good thing Scooch had prepared for this day. "Thank you for this, Scooch," Tag says.

"No problem," Scooch says. After the party, Scooch shows up to Tags house.

"I forgot to give you your gift," He says. He hands her a large box. Tag opens it.

"No way! How did you know I wanted a drone?" She asks.

"You mentioned it. Repeatedlty," Scooch answers. Tag holds the drone in her hand. "I love it so much," Tag tells him. She wraps her arms around Scooch, giving him a hug. They hold each other tightly. Neither one wants to pull away. "This is the best birthday ever!" Tag whispers. The End.
