A few days later, the thoughts somehow disappeared after his body glitched for the whole night. Mario felt a whole lot better. 'It's great seeing you like that, bro!' Luigi cheerfully said, 'Now let's go to rescue Peach!'

Bowser was defeated once again, and Peach was happy and thankful about that. Everyone went home early, which was a great thing for the tired heroes.

'Boss, the memory-erasing was a success,' Mario heard someone talking in his dream. Curious, he hid and listened to the conversation.

'Really? You mean for Mario?'

'Of course!'

'Great! He won't be bothered by that stupid show again--'

'SMG4.'

'Eh, never mind that. At least he could concentrate on work now.'

Mario was confused at first, but he then realised something. He immediately woke up.

SMG4!

That was the...

He couldn't remember. After glitching for the whole night he forgot everything about what he was searching for.

'Who is SMG4?' He asked himself. It seemed really familiar to him. He seemed like a creator nickname.

On the next day, Mario still had to help plumbing the toilets of multiple Toads because the kids had clogged it. He also repaired some machines and more stuff for others.

'We love you, Mario!' The Toads shouted after Mario had finished his job.

The feeling was familiar. He recalled that something about robots happened and in the end everything was still in peace, or at least, for a few seconds.

Anyway, he had to find something to eat after the work.

When Mario went back home, he saw a Spike peeking through his window. It waved at him as they made eye contact. 'He's familiar...Not like any other Spike I met,' he thought.

'I'll fend the Spike off, Mario!' Luigi said as he attempted to attack the Spike, but Mario stopped him, 'He's a good one. Let him in.'

He carried the Spike and ran into his secret basement. 'Mario! You saved me!' It said happily. 'You are...' Mario asked, 'I'm sorry, most of my memories are, like...I only rescued you because you seem familiar to me.'

'So you forgot most of us...' it said, worried. 'No--Actually, yes, but only from a few quotes and actions...' the plumber replied. He didn't know what the Spike meant by 'us'.

'I'm Fishy Boopkins!' The Spike introduced himself.. 'It sure does ring a bell...You're that fish who loves anime, right?' Mario asked to ensure he was right. 'Bingo!' Boopkins happily said.

'And...who was that guy who always caused chaos with me?' Mario asked. '...SMG4?' Boopkins answered.

SMG4!

Mario finally remembered what SMG4 was.

It was the show he felt that he belonged to!

He was meant to be a stupid character who goes on wacky adventures with others.

He realised that his thinking wasn't bothering his life--it was reminding that SMG4, the show, existed. And he, Mario #8052011, also existed.

'Everyone is worried about you!' Boopkins said, 'They are afraid that the Universe may collaspe because of that...'
