[Chapter – Prologue] ~ {【Receiving The System ! 】~ 【Arc 0】

My eyes slowly opened as I felt the sun hit my face; it had been fifteen years since I was brought to this world.
For me, it was another chance at life after being killed by my partner after I tried to prevent the death of a group of innocent children,
The only reason I managed to keep my sanity was that I knew those kids managed to escape and that I was able to drag that venomous partner to their death.
Of course, this world was another earth; unlike my original earth, the current earth I was now in hadn't been driven into a third or fourth world war; this one looked less developed.
This gave me the idea of how I could live an easy life this time around if I could use the knowledge from my former life on this earth.
But with my age and status, that was still far in the future; with my life experience in the last world, it had been easy to be a top student in the education field.
I also found that my body in this life was remarkable, and I was urged to play in school sports, including baseball, football, and soccer.
Eventually, when I was signed up for high school courses, the gym teacher Bobby asked me to try out for the lacrosse team.
The teacher eventually convinced me, and I chose to attend the lacrosse tryout made for me by Bobby; eventually, I earned a spot on his team.
I found that this life was amazing.
I could live a normal life, and instead of being thrown onto a battlefield when I was nine, I got to be a normal kid, and it was surprisingly nice to have this after the life I had previously lived.
I thought this would never change, but unfortunately for me, those thoughts were like a pipe dream; on the day of my Sixteenth birthday, a beautiful feminine voice awoke me as I heard it say Congratulation Host, you have met the requirements to receive the system called, 'The Path Into Shadows'
The information about the system entered my mind like a flowing river, it caused my body to get ridged, and I felt as if my mind was absorbing all this information like it was nothing.
What happened would shock or make many believe that they were insane, but for me, a man or, more appropriately, a reincarnated teenager in this world who had read web novels that touched on reincarnation, gold fingers, and systems.
After I digested the information and then thought, 'Status.'
This thought opened an information panel that appeared inside my mind.

There was other information involving the system and skills I seemed to possess, but that was fine as the information I had got when I heard the voice and more; I could sense my body was being changed at the cellular level.
For a moment, my eyes went gold with reptilian pupils, and I heard a beast not meant for this world roar inside of me, calling to something deep within.
Then I returned to normal, and a panel reappeared in my mind, Transformation of Host Physique is Complete!
As I saw this, I sat up.
I could feel the power dwelling within my flesh; it was amazing, but I also knew from my past life experience that I would need to adjust to it, so I would have to take it slow.
But as a former soldier, I had learned how to control my body output, so it shouldn't take much time to adjust to this as a newbie.
I clutched my hands several times as I sat in my bed, feeling that my grip could easily crush some things like they were eggshells instead of the hard material it was.
Since I had a week before school started and my memories about my skills had been refreshed in my mind.
So, I decided to exercise and use the skills I regained in order to adjust to all of this.

After cleaning up and getting dressed into a set of clothing for the workout, I went to the preserve and found a place in the center out of sight.
I did a few sets of stretching to loosen up, but as the stretches came to an end, a panel opened in my mind;

As I saw this, my head throbbed, and I wanted to work out, but this was a little much to start with; but I also wanted the reward, so I dropped down and began to do it.
After finishing the push-ups, sit-ups, and Squats, I went on the run through the woods, using my momentum to parkour off of trees as well.
I was lucky the panel kept track of the numbers, and even with me adding the uses of my former life's parkour into this and as I saw a new panel open notifying me, Quest Complete ~ Rewards awarded.
I fell onto my butt after the workout as I saw the panel appear; my body was drenched in sweat, and I found myself gasping for air.
After a few moments of lying on the ground, I decided to see what this gatcha and points could be used for, so I thought 【Shinobi Shop】 causing a panel to open inside of my mind, and I saw some of the tabs were grey out as I tried to open one of the tabs, but I felt I was missing something, and until I had it the greyed out tabs would not open, and it would remain that way until I fixed it,
So without those, I decided to use the free gatcha roll first, not knowing what I would receive.
As I selected the 【Multiverse Gatcha, Roll】I felt myself shift from reality to a dark space.
Before me, there was a gigantic drum standing still, but then it moved slowly rather than faster until a rainbow-colored ball came tumbling down the shoot before me, and as I reached out and touched the ball.
As my fingers brushed the ball, it disintegrated, releasing a mass of multi-colored light that flowed into me, followed by a panel appearing in my mind, Congratulations, Host, you have received 【Uzumaki Clan bloodline】; Host now will age slower, have a much larger life force, and now can create and use Chakra.
As I finished reading this, I was sent back to my body as I felt it begin to change again.
Still, this time I felt like serpents burrowing through my body, causing my entire body to burn, but I could also feel myself becoming stronger as foreign energy entered my flesh.
I could see the greyed-out tabs in the 【Shinobi Shop】 come alive, and I finally understood what I was missing was the energy in every cell of my body now this new bloodline the gacha had granted me.
After the burning faded, I selected 【Shinobi Shop】~【Abilities /Jutsu /Skills】. I began to scan through each of the items hidden by the tab. I soon found an interesting Ability 【Sand Manipulation】 that cost me 150 points 【Sand Binding Prison】, 【Sand Waterfall Funeral】, and 【Shield of Sand 】that ended up costing me the remaining 350 points that I had.
After I selected these, the ability was the first; it quickly bonded down to the genetic code, all like it was a part of me, followed by the knowledge of how to use it and the knowledge of the three Jutsu I purchased.
I slowly awoke as the Jutsu knowledge found its place in my muscle memory and brain.
I found myself lying on a bed of sand, gently moving around me.
As I saw this, the knowledge inside me told me this was part of the 【Sand Manipulation】 ability I bought through the system.
I found it interesting, and with a thought as I sat up, all the sand made by the ability gathered into a ball and then compacted into a perfect sphere of marble.
I slid the marble into my pants pocket, then got to my feet and made my way back to the area with the closed cluster of trees where I had left my duffle.
I still had the problem of training my body to adjust to the power granted by my Physique; I ran my hand along the trees, feeling the bark, then found the center of the cluster before starting to send fist strikes and kicks.
The trees began by cracking and sending bark flying, but I also began tweaking my output until only the sound of flesh striking wood, but the damage was minimal.
Once I had the hang of the low side of my attack power, I slowly strengthened my strikes before I knew the punch and kick could crack or even shatter bone.
After the training was complete, I sat down, pressing my back against one of the trees I was using as a punching bag.
I then reached into the duffle, taking a towel out and wiping away the sweat before reaching in and bringing out a three-liter bottle of water, taking a few huge swallows before pouring some over my head before I started to rest.
This continued for the remainder of the week; as a routine, I did the daily quest and earned the reward for doing it and gaining skills of things like 【Grandmaster Blacksmithing skills】, 【Divine Apothecary skills】 and 【Grand Sage Alchemist Skills】.
I, of course, had also won three pieces of equipment which were 【Sun Wukong's Heavenly golden cudgel】, 【The divine cauldron of life and destruction】 and【A dimensional bracelet with a space that holds a mystical herb garden of immortals. 】
With these, I could embark on many things and become a person with power, but I chose to wait as money wasn't everything; on this day, with this knowledge, resources, and the system, I could do it with the right amount of time, and I had the time.
An my previous life had given me far than enough will to see this through especially with the thought of my gains over the last seven days and with school starting the next day.
I had also bought a few other Sand related jutsu being 【Armour of Sand】, 【Desert Wave】, 【Desert: Hand】, 【Sand Bullet】, 【Sand Clone】, 【Sand Restraining Technique】 and 【Sand Pillar】
