Synopsis
Kim Da-Hyun is a kind-hearted elementary school teacher who helps an elderly man who passed out behind her school while she was in the middle of her class. The "old man" turns out to be Chairman Lee, a multimillionaire CEO of one of the SH Group one of the largest conglomerate corporations in South Korea. Da-Hyun's act of kindness towards the Chairman leads to a series of strange events that will change her world completely. She is written into his will and stands to inherit all of his fortunes. The Chairman's two grandchildren will see none of the inheritance, unless they choose to sincerely woo, win, and marry Da-Hyun. Caught in this web is Lee Jae-In, one of Chairman Lee's grandsons, who had worked hard to rise in the corporate world without his grandfather's help. At first unwilling to play his grandfather's game for control, Jae-In is a demanding, abrasive control jerk and only sees Da-Hyun as a gold digger that tricked his grandfather. As the two heads collide he constantly fights with Da-Hyun as they attempt to negotiate to resolve the quandary that Chairman Lee has placed them in. . In the end, the two fall in love despite the differences in their personalities, objections from their families, and other obstacles.
The screenwriter took a quote from the original book book….. Something About 1 % "There's a guy, and 99% of his traits are great but if you see even one bad trait on him, you'll grow to dislike him no matter how good he is to you, but if 99% of another guy's traits are terrible but you notice that 1% of goodness in him that's what you end up falling for" ….
The 16 episodes of the series show how Da- Hyun discovers the 1 % of Lee Jae-in that no one else sees and falls in love with the man that she initially hated after their first meeting. The series showed the two leads discovering each other, but left out much of the backstory of why Lee Jae- In became the way he was. His biological mother lives in Canada yet the mother that raised him only adopted him after her son had died left to many question marks as to who was who and why did Grandpa disowned Jae In's father but revered Jae- In ?
In episodes 14 and 15 the love between Jae - In and Da-Hyun was put to the test in that each not wanting to hurt the other decided that it is best that they separate only to cause even greater hurt. Episode 16 reveals how they both come to realize that life is meaningless without the other….. how they both learned to navigate married life becomes their new discovery.
The Reconciliation
In Episode 16 the dialogue between Jae -In and Da- Hyun is 180 degrees opposite of when they first met.
Jae-In: The media will be reporting about us soon…. Will you be alright?
Da-Hyun: I'm glad that the school is on vacation now….. They won't harass my students will they?
Jae-In: Who knows?… How about you quit already and just focus on taking care of our children?
Da- Hyun angrily : Oh Yeah… Aren't we going to sign a prenup?
Jae-In: Of course we will… and we'll even get it notarized too!
Da- Hyun: How are you planning to deceive me this time?
Jae-In: Getting divorced is forbidden… Both parties must be faithful to one another until death.
Da- Hyun: Shouldn't we give that some thought? ….. I mean who knows what will happen?

Honeymoon decision

Jae-In: We can't , that's to far.
Da-Hyun: How about 30 day trip to Hawaii ?
Jae-In: That would be nice, but that's a bit to long.
Da-Hyun: It's our honeymoon….. though…. Do you want to go to Canada….. Can your family in Canada make it to our wedding?
Jae-In : It'll probably be difficult.
Da-Hyun: Then we'll go to them.
Jae-In: Is that Ok with you?
Da-Hyun: I'm fine with going anywhere as long as you're with me.
As different as they started out their love has brought them to an understanding that they both have to give in order to receive. The screenwriters tried to fill in the happy ending of Episode 16 but left to many unanswered questions … the honeymoon and meeting the biological mother…. The baby and its impact ….. Will Tae Ha and Hyena Jin come to and understanding or will grandpa have his say in this relationship also. These and other unresolved storylines will be brought to light.
After the wedding reception Jae-In looks to his wife and takes her hand as they both know what they want next. The passion that was ignited in every kiss they shared throughout the 16 episodes will come to fruition this night in the luxurious honeymoon suit of the SH Hotel that Jae-In controls. Jae-In picks up his bride and carries her over the threshold of this luxurious suite that Da -Hyun has never imagined even existed let alone she is now the first lady of the entire SH Group. Da-Hyun eyes open wide as she sees the extravagance that will be the first night of their married life.
Da-Hyun: Jae-In … I know your rich but isn't this for kings and queens… how much are you spending?…. We could be at our home doing the same thing.

Jae-In: What made matters worse was when my father died in a car accident along with my older brother… Grandfather became even more controlling. My stepmother was forced to adopt me and make me her son even though her grief was for her biological son. We learned to get along and eventually love each other since we only had each other to cling to. Being a Lee isn't everything it's cracked up to be.

After dinner is served Kim Jia announces that the sleeping quarters have been prepared if the honeymooners would like to rest up.

The Interview
The fillers in Episode 16 second half…. shows the newly married couple adjusting to their new married life. Jae -In takes command of the SH Group management and makes time to help his wife navigate the new responsibilities of being the new First Lady of the SH Group. At the orphanage fund raising sponsored by Kang See-Hee … Da Hyung got the attention of not only the press but also the corporate wives of SH Group executives. Kang Dong -Seok now Jae- In trusted assistant informs Jae- In of the news.
Kang Dong-Seok: Managing Director, did you see the news?
