Ash struggled to his feet, his Rhyhorn helping him as he did. "Alright, now that we have shook off the dizziness," Ketchum said, "time to catch you all."

"Uh, Ash," Brock addressed as Hitmonlee helped him, "perhaps make it quick. I don't want to know what people think when they see Mewtwo and Mew. No offense."

'I agree with... Brock's statement,' Mewtwo assured.

"Right," Ash exclaimed as he opened his backpack and revealed many Pokeballs in there.

"Ironic how you say that you are going to catch them all, yet you only ever catch a few," Misty joked as Nidoqueen stabilized her.

"Haha," Ash dryly commented before handing balls out nonstop. Twenty two in total.

"Okay, Mewtwo and Mew," Ash addressed the Legendaries, "You will be sent to Professor Oak's lab."

'Is this... professor going to harm me?' Mewtwo questioned, a sense of anger boiling up inside.

"No no," Ash reassured, "Professor Oak is my sponsor who stores all my Pokemon. He won't do anything harmful to you. I promise."

Mewtwo reluctantly nodded before being captured and Mew right after. "Now to head to the lab!" Ash said and rushed home, Pikachu clinging to his shoulder.

"Ash! Wait up!" Misty said, running after the boy with Togepi. Brock followed after the two.

Professor Oak was busy with Ash and Gary's Krabbys, having a small feud much like their trainers. Oak just chuckled at that. After getting the two River Crab Pokémon apart, Oak got a notification on his computer.

[Ash Ketchum has caught a new Pokémon.]

Oak hurried over to the computer and looked up the Pokémon. "Oh my, a Tentacruel! Ash has out done himself in catching that one."

[Ash Ketchum has caught a new Pokémon.]

"Hmmm?" Oak wondered, "Let's see... ah a Sandslash! Quite a catch!"

[Ash Ketchum has caught a new Pokémon.]

"What now?... A Scyther! Wow!"

"What? But I-"

The alert repeated the saying until there was a short pause that left Oak dumbfounded with the amount of Pokémon Ash caught in such a short time. Twenty three! Almost as much as his Tauros! He was certainly going to have a talk with him when he got back.

Oak silently groaned before seeing what one of his trainers caught...

And was shocked at seeing the new Pokémon.

"Oh my gosh!"

Ash just arrived in Pallet Town and was at the stairs of the lab when he heard the yell. "Hehe..." Ash sheepishly said, "I think Professor Oak knows about Mewtwo."

"Pika," Pikachu deadpanned as if he was saying 'You think?' Misty came from behind slightly out breath which was more than Brock who was on his knees catching his breath. "*whezze* Ash *whezze* could we *wheeze* take a *wheeze* small breath *wheeze* before going inside," the Pewter City Gym Leader said before collapsing.

Ash just chuckled before entering the lab. He was greeted with Mewtwo having Oak in a telekinetic grab. 'Where am I human!' The Genetic Pokemon threaten. "Mewtwo stop!" Ash said, hoping to end the misunderstanding. Mewtwo saw Ash and his gaze softened, releasing the professor. "*whew* Sorry I meant to get here before you opened Mewtwo's Pokeball," Ash said. 'Yes, I apologize. I don't do well around scientists...' Mewtwo informed.

Oak coughed a bit before getting to his feet, "I can see why. Now Ash, care to explain where this "Mewtwo" and other twenty two Pokémon came from," Oak inquired.

"Well... it's quite a story..." Ash admitted before explaining what had happened just as Misty and Brock walked in.

"My Ash... that's quite the shock! No doubt if you told your mother what has happened she would flip," Oak said. "Yeah, so I need you to keep Mewtwo's appearance a secret," Ash informed.

"But," Oak whined, "this is a huge discovery!" "Please," Ash pleaded, "as much as I want to show up Gary, even I agreed to keep his existence a secret. Just wait a few months until the Indigo League."

"Fine, if you insist," Oak said, "I should still be able to study him, whenever he gets comfortable."

'By studying me, what do you mean?" Mewtwo inquired. "Your physiology, height, traits, abilities, etc." Oak explained, "whenever you get comfortable around me and are ready." Mewtwo pondered this idea. '... Very well, I will let you study me.' Oak let out a small breath of relief.

"So where is Mew?" Ash wondered. "Oh Mew is wondering around somewhere," Oak informed before said Pokemon Teleported in from where ever she was. Mew saw her trainer and nuzzled up against him then Transformed into a Pikachu to play with Ash's starter. "Well now that this has been sorted out, can I see my new Pokémon?" Ash asked. "Sure, I knew you would want to see them, follow me," Oak instructed.

In the corral, Ash saw his thirty two reserved Pokémon approaching him. Krabby scurried and Muk lurched over as the Tauros herd came stampeding towards him. "Hey guys!" Ash's Pokemon cried out at seeing their trainer while the Tauros herd was stampeding. "Oh boy..." Brock said as he, Misty, and Oak moved out of the way. Pikachu leapt off to avoid being crushed and Ash realized he probably should move...

At least he would have if Mewtwo didn't stop all thirty Wild Bull Pokémon from running him over. "It's alright Mewtwo, they're my Pokémon."

'And you were going to let them trample you?' Mewtwo asked. "Well, it's how they display their affection... even if it's dangerous," Ash admitted. 'You are certainly an odd human to let your Pokémon trample you for affection," Mewtwo mused before setting down the Tauros.

"Alright, time to get everyone acquainted. Come on out everyone!" Ash shouted, sending out his original Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charizard, Pidgeotto, and Squirtle. Oak released the recently captured Pokémon into the corral shortly afterwards. "Alright this is Professor Oak's Corral. This is where you will be to rest and train," Ash informed the Pokémon. The clones were a bit tensed and were slowly getting comfortable. Mew, on the other hand, was being such a social Butterfree having Transformed into Tauros and getting integrated into the herd.

Ash slightly frowned at this. While he wasn't an expert on Pokémon behaviors, they should rest for the time being after their hectic experience. "Hmmm..." Ash's brain started to think off possible solutions to calm his new Pokémon down. He saw the corral's lake and immediately thought of the Water Type Pokémon. "Hey guys!" Ash said, "the lake is wide open for you Water types!" Seadra and Tentacruel immediately hopped over and dove in, Vapoeron ran towards it afterwards as Golduck waddled over before cannonballing into the lake, Dewgong slid over into the lake herself, Krabby scuttled along wanting to go for a swim, both original and clone Squirtles made a splash as well. Blastoise was a bit reluctant but soon found himself enjoying the lake soon. The clone Psyduck was just as confused as the original so it stayed on land. Then there was Gyarados.

From personal experience, Ash knew Gyarados could be violent, but perhaps this one wasn't as much considering the cloning process. "Don't worry, the water is nice and calm," Ash reassured his Water/Flying type. The Atrocious Pokémon made his way over, slithering before diving into the body of water. He let out calming roar as he rose to the surface.

"Hey, Rapidash," Ash addressed, "hang out with my Tauros. They should make you feel right at home with the running and battling." The Fire Horse Pokémon nodded before going with the herd. The Tauros greeted them with open... hooves you could say. The herd immediately started to run and Rapidash joined them as they took off, liking to race.

"Rhyhorn and Sandslash, there should be a sand bed nearby. I believe you two Ground types should enjoy that," Ash informed. Sandslash found the sand bed and began to roll around in it, Rhyhorn shortly afterwards. The Ground type Mouse Pokémon chirped with delight and the Spikes Pokémon roared softly.

"Pidgeotto, perhaps you and Pidgeot could get to know each other," Ash suggested, since they are from the same evolution line. The two Bird Pokémon nodded before taking off.

"Bulbasaur, show Vileplume, your... brother per say and Venusaur the forest." The former protector of the Hidden Village nodded before guiding his fellow Grass/Poison types through the forest.

"Pikachu, perhaps you should get acquainted with your brother, Wigglytuff, and Meowth." Ash's starter nodded and began a conversation with the clones.

Ash gave out ways to get his new Pokémon comfortable in this setting. Brock and Misty also helped out, the former creating tons of Pokefoods for the clones to munch on and the latter reassuring the Water types with her own. Togepi also "helped" as he wondered with the original Pikachu. After getting everyone settled -minus Charizard, who was being his lazy self- Ash and Mewtwo sat back on the corral's fence and watched the interactions between Pokémon and humans. The clones had stop being tense and felt relax

"Ash! Honey!" Ash turned to see his mom and Mimey the Mr. Mime approaching them. Ash inwardly flinched when she noticed Mewtwo. "It's okay, Mewtwo," Ash calmly said, "this is my mom. Mom, this is Mewtwo. A new friend."

"Ohhh," Delia said and glanced at the Genetic Pokémon. She then broke into a smile, "Well, any friend of Ash is family in my eyes." And Ash smiled at that saying. Mewtwo became comfortable around the woman as she joined the others.

"It's feels nice doesn't it," Ash asked as Pikachu and Mew came over. 'I will admit...' Mewtwo started, 'it is quite peaceful. I haven't felt so...' "So what?" Ash asked. 'At peace. I believe there was a time that's all I knew,' Mewtwo remembered. 'It was thanks to her.' "Who?" Ash questioned, "I mean you don't have to tell if you want to.."

'No it's alright,' Mewtwo admitted, 'in fact, Ash, you remind me a lot of her. Thought I'm not ready to tell you everything yet.' Ash nodded along, smiling at the idea of Mewtwo being happy.

"Welp, let's rest up for a few days. Get you settled and relaxed with Pallet Town before we begin," Ash said determinedly. 'Before we begin?' Mewtwo questioned.

"Yes," Ash said, "We are going to be training for the Indigo League."

A/N: Sorry if I made Misty sound petty in the first chapter. I edited it, hopefully it doesn't sound as petty now.

And Mewtwo only erased any images in Neesha, Fergus, and Corey's mind, but they still know Ash, Misty, and Brock.
