Dynasty Warriors Chapter 5

Mike and the villagers approached the city. As they entered the city, Mike was amazed at all the high buildings and the vast number of people. Ever since he got to China somehow, he had for the most part only seen the villagers. He then asked the mayor of the village, "What should we do next?"

The mayor said, "Well, first we should probably report ourselves to the central office. We can tell them our town was destroyed. We have an especially strong laborer, you, Mike, so when we are split up into family groups, you will probably get on of the highest-paying jobs. Since you are a Musa Warrior, and by far the most valuable person in a bunch of refugees, so this will probably be the end for us. We might want to ask what's up with the Dong Zhuo situation, but you probably don't want to join up with him."

Just then, an alarm sounds started wailing from the outside of the castle. Sounds of shouting began an a loud voice yelled, "A military force is coming in! No banner of Dong Zhuo! I repeat, no banners of Dong Zhuo!"

Most of the people in the city started to run away from the walls. Mike was confused. "What's going on? The military appears to be coming to the walls of the town."
A town guard said, "Unidentified military forces coming in do not appear to be Dong Zhuo. High traitor to the Han, but we don't know who they are. Evacuate now, strange citizen, as they are sending a messenger out to talk."

Mike says, "Hey, I'm a Musa Warrior. Anything I can do to help Captain of the Guard?"
He laughed. "Ha! You think you're a Musa Warrior? You must be delusional, foreigner."
The mayor of the townsfolk interrupts, "No, no, he has defeated several tigers. He fights dangerous animals, and even killed the yellow turbans and without even trying. He is a Musa Warrior - our village was saved by him before it was destroyed by a fire."

The captain said, "Alright, I will pay you this entire bag of gold to be my bodyguard in case something goes wrong. But - if you fail, you and your people will get none of it."

Bo Chun and his military force came up to the double wall being led by Bo Chun and his nephew. The man stated, "I am Bo Chun. I don't have any desire, nor need, to inflict damage against this city. My men and I require some equipment and supplies in order to join the alliance against the tyrannical Dong Zhuo."

Mike was in awe of the man standing before him. He had some pretty fancy clothes, and some pretty good-looking weapons. He also saw a younger man beside him, and he was quite confused about what he could do if things came to blows, so he decided to ask them some questions. "Hey, are you two Musa Warriors like me?"

The war lord and his nephew were taken aback by it, and then the Vanguard unit who saw Mike's killing of the yellow turban man came up and said. "I knew I recognized this guy. He is the one who killed the yellow turban and that's the Musa Warrior."

At that, Bo Chun said, "No, but I am in need of a muso Warrior. I will pay you handsomely to be my bodyguard if you can prove your abilities, and if you are capable of being a Musa Warrior that is. The city guard said, "Okay, we are not in League with Dong Zhuo and this guy's new in town. So yeah, you can pay him if you want and use the town and start some recruitment if you like. If that's what you want, then your men must be on their best behaviour and there will be no harassment of the civilians if at all possible."
Mike said, "Wow! Can you give the money to the villagers? They basically housed and fed me when I ended up here, so I kind of told them a lot even if I couldn't save the entire Village."
"Yes, yes, I'll give you the money promised to you to your villagers."
Mike said, "I'm going to work for you and go talk to the mayor. I see them over there."
Bo Chun said to his nephew, "Duan Yang I want you to follow him and watch this happened then take him back to our main camp outside." The nephew said, "Why camp outside the walls when there's a city? We need to watch ourelves. We don't need to start some sort of riot or high tensions."

Out in the wilderness of the forest, a youngest son returns home. Despite being the Chief's offspring, and despite recently becoming a Musa Warrior with wilderness survival and battle experience, he is often seen as weak minded compared to others his age. He is often insulted by the members of the tribe, especially his elder siblings, but the one he loves with all his heart is his mother. He heard beautiful music coming from within the building he is approaching. His mother, Cai Wenji, loved him for his kind heart and willingness to show mercy, his deep appreciation and questions of the music she made, and so much more. She came from a well-developed and spacious area of China, despite her being a hostage of his father. He despised his father for the way he treated them both.

As soon as he got off his horse, he immediately went inside his mother's home carrying the big net of fish he managed to acquire.
"Mother, I bought you some fine specimens of multiple fish."
His mother was overjoyed to see him, and she put down one of the many string instruments she had made during the time she was forced to live in the village. Cai Wenji's sad frown turned in to a smile as she saw her favourite son not inheriting the violence and blood lust of his father. She was coerced into making babies with the tribe's chief, but she was proud of this sweet boy she called her son. He just wanted peace, not fighting and conquest. She wanted him to leave this horrible village of conflict behind, and to find a way for her family to undo the taint of this village from her youngest most beloved child.

"My, did you go and catch all these fish all by yourself?" She asked.
"Yes," he replied, "it's not like anyone was going to help me."
"And why would they not help you? You are one of the chief's children?"
He replied, "Because they see me as weak of mind. Because I do not want to face down enemies beneath me. Because I do not wish to do conquest adventures. Because I wished to have beautiful music and long to be in the city with my great mother and know her family - a brilliant mind instead of my father's violent one. Despite my own week mind."
Cai Wenji said to him, "I have told you before," she whispered, "you should leave this village permanently. You should go out on your horse and never look back. Find a peaceful farm in a village. There is no way I can get out because without me my family would never accept you and probably will not with me. You may be able to find devotees of my father who would jump at the chance to save me, if they thought there was a smallest chance. If you do need me, I could get them to accept you. If my father knew you could return me to him, unlikely as it is that might be, it is my only chance."
The boy took his head. "No, I will not leave this village for one day without you. I can turn my back on this village, but I cannot do it without you. The times are becoming chaotic, but I know somehow that I will have a chance, and know it when I can get you out of here."

There was a knock on the door. The nice young son knew it was one of his older siblings.
"Go to the battle horse. Father needs you and all high class Warriors immediately. Stop with that musical nonsense with Mother, we don't have time to waste on that when we can be preparing for battle."

Note: I am finally done editing my previously written chapters with my proof-reader. Next, we are going to meet the men of Sun Jian, who I am going to have travelling with Yuan Shu. I know they are subordinate to them at this time. Please remember to list any interesting people who existed in history at this time that I could use soon.
