Now there are going to be some things I'm changing for this fanfic such as
1. Including materials/creatures from other types of series
2. There will characters from different series but may have different names (No OC's)
3. Naofumi would also get a harem
4. This is an AU so some canon character may not show up plus the story won't follow canon

I also don't known rising of the Shield hero that belongs to Ankeo Yusagi.
"Guahhh" Yelled a man falling back in pain after being bitten by an orange balloon monster. The reason for that is because the monster was launched at him by the Shield hero also known as Naofumi Iwatani. He was currently being surrounded by 2 more men with the other trying to stab him with a knife, only for Naofumi to raise his shield blocking the knife with the shield releasing some energy sending the man to the ground.
The 3 men knew they couldn't win and began running away as fast as they could.
"Damn it seems that I can't trust anyone in this damn world" Naofumi muttered to himself with a scowl on his face thinking of how things turned out for him after he got transported to this new world.
"Looks like you could need some help" Came a voice behind Naofumi. Naofumi turned around and saw a short pudgy man, with a white moustache and wearing a purple suit with a top hat and circular glasses. The man also gave Naofumi one a very creepy smile that put him on edge.
"No thanks I'm not looking for party members" Naofumi said coldly and started walking away.
"Oh no sir shield I am not talking about party members, no no no. I have an offer that I think would suit your fancy."
Naofumi stopped and looked at the man who was now walking towards him. "And what would that be?" Naofumi asked with curiosity. The man chuckled and turned around. "Follow me and I'll show you". The man said as he started walking with Naofumi following.
They turned to a corner of a building and Naofumi saw a circus tent in front of him. They entered the tent and Naofumi's nose was invaded with a repulsive smell but he didn't show any discomfort on his face.
"These are slaves sir Shield hero and I run a slave trading business" The man said still with that same smile on his face.
"And what would I need a slave for? How would I know it won't betray me in the end" Naofumi said, narrowing his eyes at the small man. The small man didn't look shaken by Naofumi's attitude and only gave a small chuckle.
"That won't be a problem sir Shield hero as slaves are banded with slave crest on their chest, which prevents slaves from betraying their masters, disobeying them or deceiving them. They are the perfect companions for your journey sir Shield hero. The man said
Naofumi was silent for a few seconds, he didn't want to be involve with slavery but he really had no choice if he truley wanted to survive in this world and go home.
"Alright show me what you got, by the way what's your name anyways?" Naofumi said to the short man
The man chuckled "Beloukas" the man answered and showed Naofumi some slaves that would be most helpful. Unfortunately they were either really expensive or too high level for Naofumi to control.
Naofumi then asked for cheaper slaves and was taken deeper into the tent with the smell growing more puchride but Naofumi's face still remained impassive.
Naofumi looked through the slaves and monsters but was more or less impressed with what he was seeing. "A bit of advice Sir Shield I would highly recommend you purchase a child demi-human slave" Beloukas said
"Hm. and why is that?" Naofumi asked
"Well one of the reasons are the fact children demi-humans are alot cheaper as I'm pretty sure you've seen quiet a few more than adult slaves?"
"And the other reason?"
"The other reason is because once a slave in party they would develop and get older mentally and physical at a much rate the more they increase their level. Perfect for a hero to combat the waves" Beloukas said with a grin on his face.
Naofumi found the information quiet useful and continued looking at the slaves until heared some coughing and what sound like trembling in a cage. Naofumi walked to the 2 cages that were beside each other and one of them held a demi-human raccoon girl and the other cage held another demi-human girl with short green hair, green sheep ears, ram horns that curved inwards with the points facing down, had hazel eyes and also wearing green rags.
The raccoon demi-human was coughing and the other one was trembling in her cage, hugging her knees together with a petrified look on her face.
Naofumi looked at the 2 demi human girls with his face remaining as neutral as possible.
"What's wrong with these 2?" Naofumi asked
"Ah you shouldn't worry about those 2 Sir Shield hero the Racoon demi human is sick with bodily harm from previous masters and would occasionally scream in her sleep. She would probably die in a few weeks. While the other also suffers from bodily harm from her previous master, she hides in the further parts of the cage trembling and would also occasionally scream and cry. These 2 wouldn't be best use for you Sir Shield hero" Beloukas finished
Naofumi continued looking at the 2 children. He did feel sorry for them but wouldn't show it.
"How much are they?" Naofumi asked
"Sir Shield hero are you sure?" Beloukas asked with a raised eyebrow
"How much are they?" Naofumi asked with a more demanding tone.
"45 silver for both of them together" Beloukas answered
"Hm. alright I'll take them then" Naofumi said
Beloukas chuckled at this and went to get prepared the slave seals. Naofumi then bent down to the cages and looked at both of them.
"What's your name?" He first looked at the Racoon demi-human. She said her name but he couldn't hear her. So her asked her again but more forcefully.
"R-raphtalia *cough*" The girl answered
Then Naofumi turned to the green haired girl and asked for her name. The girl seemed a lot more hesitant but still gave her name.
"N-n-n-nel m-my name is Nel" The girl stuttered her name out
"Alright then, my name is Naofumi Iwatani and I am the Shield hero" The moment Naofumi said that both Raphtalia and Nel looked at with both shock and some awe in their eyes. "R-really you're the S-Shield hero like the one my daddy told me" Raphtalia asked nervously hoping her ears didn't deceive her. Nel stopped shaking and gradually moved forward to the bar of the cage to get a better look at the man.
"Yes I am…although I probably am not the exact same as the one in the past, but I am the Shield hero" Naofumi was confused on why they both seemed intrigued about the fact that he was Shield hero, but didn't think much on it and though it was just the fact that he was the legendary hero.
"*Sob* I-I-I knew you would come *sob*" Nel said crying tears of relief in her cell, making Naofumi more confused on why they were expecting him to save them and made a mental note to question them on it later.
A couple of minutes later Beloukas put the slave tattoos on both the girls and was paid his money. Naofumi held both Raphtalia's and Nel's hand and walked out of the tent to head to Erhards store.
Naofumi arrived and entered the store with both girls by his side. "Well you back a little sooner than I expected and from the looks of things you also seemed to acquire 2 new companions" Erhand said
"Well it's not as if I really have many options on gathering new companions. Anyways I need new clothes for these 2 and weapons for both of them." Naofumi said, scratching the back of his head.
Erhard nodded and was kind enough to let Naofumi use his bath to clean up the girls and although Naofumi wouldn't admit it he found it amusing how both of them were embarrassed when they were being bathed by their supposed Shield hero saviour.
Once they were all cleaned up they got their equipment and new combat clothes. Raphtalia wore a red and black combat dress with white sleeves and and brown boots with a short sword strapped around her right hip, while Nel wore a green and black combat dress with black boots and a short sword also strapped around her right hip.
Naofumi paid Erhard from the clothes and they went outside to go to a forest to set up camp.
As they were walking Naofumi noticed Nel and Raphtalia were fidgeting and sneaking glances at him as if they wanted to ask him something. "*sign* What is it?" Naofumi asked, turning to the 2 girls.
Both of them seemed a bit taken aback and still seemed hesitant but the first person to answer was Nel "E-eh em t-thank you M-master for the clothes" Nel said stuttering with Rapthalia also saying the exact same thing but without a stutter.
Naofumi gave them a nod of acknowledgement and they continued walking to the forest and arrived at a place that seemed safe enough to set up camp.
They were now sitting around a fire, each of them holding skewers of roasted fish and mushrooms. Thanks to Naofumi's Cook Shield he was able to locate edible plants and his cooking skills also increased by a small percentage. Naofumi watched the 2 girls scarfing down their food and then looked to his shield in deep thought.
'Well hopefully those girls would be useful to help me get back home' Naofumi thought to himself
'Still there has to be more methods to increase my strength. Maybe I learn magic or collect more materials from dungeons?"
His thoughts then drifted to the other 3 heroes and then the trash king and bitch and it only made his blood boil, to think that he would get setup just because he was the Shield and a bunch of prideful assholes that think of this world as nothing but a game are put on a pedestal.
He calmed himself down as he noticed the 2 girls were giving him worried looks but ignored it and continued looking at his Shield trying to repress those dark thoughts. Naofumi knew that this world wasn't a game but his Shield seemed to follow gaming mechanics meaning there is a small possibility of getting stronger through different means.
Naofumi then thought of one of his favourite game franchises, Shin Megami Tensei and how he would be able to increase his stats with stat points every time he levelled up. He was also thinking about how the demons in the games could level up themselves with stats points and also earn experience points and rewards doing side quests.
Naofumi looked at the Gem of his Shield mused at the idea of being able to receive stat points and experience.

Naofumi looked at the notification with a raised eyebrow and some mild caution. Naofumi wasn't sure whether to pick yes or no as he didn't want to get screwed over, but at the end decided to take the risk and press yes.

Naofumi was surprised that there were 2 features added to his status menu. The first one he picked was the Stat point section and was met with another notification.
[Stat points: Points the wielder of the weapon gains when levelling up, gaining new weapons or achieving various task]
[Theses points can be used to level up base stats used to upgrade other weapons]
[The amount of points depend how strong an opponent is, new weapons gained or how important a task is]
[Points can also be stored and party members have access to their own point stats]
When Naofumi finished reading the information he was surprised that the method in order for him to get stronger functioned similarly to some RPGs that he played back home. Naofumi removed the notification and looked at how many stat points he had.

Naofumi wasn't really surprised his Stat points were low as he barely levelled up to level 2 and got a few low levelled Shields however 3 of those points actually came from when he bought Raphtalia and Nel. He discovered this when he went to another feature on [Stat Points] called [Stat Points History] and saw how he got his points.
Naofumi decided to spend 4 of his stat points on Def the 1 on Agility.
Naofumi looked at his stat menu and was satisfied with what he saw.

Naofumi was satisfied with what he saw and then went to the inventory feature and saw that it contained monster parts, plants and other items that he absorbed into his shield. He acknowledges this and was considering absorbing more items into his Shield to sell or incase he found any use for them.
Naofumi then looks at both Nel and Raphtalia and they were both finishing their food but Raphtalia started coughing. Naofumi bought out medicine he has been selling to the apothecary and gave some to Raphtalia.
"Here drink this"
Raphtalia took the medicine and began drinking it.
"Blaagghhhh" spat out the medicine as Nel looked at her worried
"Hey, that's valuable medicine you're supposed to drink it." Naofumi said
"No way it's all bitter"
"Good medicine is supposed to be bitter, now drink up!" Naofumi said as Raphtalia made her displeasure known with an exaggerated "Noooooooooooo!" to the air. With Nel looking on now giving a small snicker instead of having a look of worry on her face.
'I can't believe I'm actually with the Shield hero, although he does look a bit scary' Nel thought to herself as she continued looking at Naofumi and Raphtalia
10 day later
It's been 10 days of killing monsters, selling herbs, medicine, monster parts and unlocking new Shields and skills. Naofumi has noticed that both Nel and Raphtalia become a lot older faster than he had anticipated. Both seemed to be around 15-16 years old. However he was not expected that both were also a lot more developed than he was expecting

Naofumi was also satisfied with how the past couple of days have been going although he does hate the fact that he couldn't taste any food.
The three were currently in Erhards store to buy new weapons for the girls and armour for Naofumi.
Raphtalia and Nel got new swords and Naofumi got Barbarian armour despite how much it made it look like a bandit.
"That looks amazing Master Naofumi" Nel beamed with stars in her eyes
"I too think you look good Naofumi-sama" Raphtalia agreed
Naofumi only signed at their responses and turned to Erhard.
"By the way, when exactly are the waves supposed to begin?" Naofumi asked
"Hm. You didn't know, you're meant to register at the dragon hourglass inside the church of the 3 heroes." Erhard said making Naofumi irritated that such information was kept from him.
Naofumi thanked Erhard and made his way to the church which unsurprisingly he got glared at the moment he walked in. The moment Naofumi came face to face with the hourglass his shield reacted with a glow coming out from it and Naofumi was able to see the time and saw that they only had 20 hours left.
"Oi is that Naofumi?" came a voice from the person Naofumi didn't want to see.
"Still using that flimsy armour?" The voice said getting closer. The person was revealed to Motoyasu Kitamura A.K.A the spear hero and he was currently being followed by his party members which consisted of all girls.
Naofumi didn't say anything with his eyes overshadowed by his hair. He turned around to exit the building.
"Sir Motoyasu is talking to you" A certain redhaired bitch said making Naofumi's blood boil but he continued walked until he noticed that he couldn't hear Raphtalia and Nel following him. He turned around to see Motoyasu flirting with both of them.
"Eh sorry but we want to be with Master Naofumi" Nel said, looking uncomfortable with Motoyasu's flirting.
"What no you shouldn't be with scum like hi-" Motoyasu said with Naofumi getting up in face but Motoyasu wasn't fazed in the slightest
"What Naofumi, you have something to say" Motoyasu said smirking
Naofumi bit tongue with Naofumi grabbing both Nel and Raphtalia to leave as they actually seemed relieved to be away from Motoyasu but were worried for their master's shift in attitude.
When they were walking to an inn to get some rest Nel said something to somewhat brighten his mood.
"I don't like that guy," Nel said, making Naofumi almost smile.
When they arrived at the inn both Nel and Raphtalia could tell something was wrong with their master. They could tell he was filled with nothing but anger and sadness and wanted to do something but they weren't sure how to approach him.
"Em… master Naofumi" Nel first asked
"Yes, what is it?" Naofumi asked, analysing his shield while sitting on his bed. Nel wasn't sure what to say to her master but Raphtalia was able to come to her aid.
"Is something the matter Naofumi-sama" Raphtalia asked
"No" He simply replied. Both of them obviously weren't convinced and both of them thought of dropping the subject but Raphtalia went to his right side, sat beside him and held his hand.
"What the hell are you doing Raphtalia?" Naofumi asked, confused by the action.
"Can I hold your hand…Naofumi-sama?" Raphtalia asked with a clear blush on her face
"Oh me too me too" Nel said with enthusiasm as she went to his left side and held his other hand with her head resting on his shoulder.
Naofumi suspected that they were doing this to cheer him up but he did not push them away from the physical contact. If anything he was happy to have both of them come to him.
Naofumi looked at his stats one more time before going to bed.

Both Raphtalia and Nel called out to him, making the green eyed man turn to them. "Yes" he answered
"Well… both both me and Nel just wanted to say thank you…for everything you have done for use"
"We are truly grateful that no words could express our gratitude… that is why…"
""No matter what happens we promise to follow you wherever you go"" The both finished at the same time
Naofumi looked at them impassively but didn't want to come off as rude and gave them an acknowledged grunt.

A/N: I'm going to skip all the way to the Naofumi losing to his duel to Motoyasu as most of what happens in the first first wave mostly follows canon and what happens after this doesn't really follow canon. However I am leaving some key points that happened in this wave that would be later important for the story
When the waves appear a mysterious Crimson red Dungeon sprouts out somewhere in Melromarc.
Naofumi and his party actually save the village more easily than in Canon.
Naofumi also discovers he can also put and retrieve items from his inventory after seeing other heroes do it.
Fitoria is alarmed that something about this current wave is a lot more different than previous ones.
Naofumi was currently on his knees with his head down in complete defeat and anger.
'Why… Why the hell is this happening? Why do they want me to fail?'
'I hate them, I hate the bitch, that trash I fucking hate this world!' Naofumi kept thinking to himself with his rage reaching an all time high.

Naofumi's shield then changes to the Shield of wrath and Naofumi himself was leaking ominous mana into the air. Naofumi was about to burn everything on sight but 2 familiar voices called out to him.
"Master Naofumi!"
"Naofumi-sama!"
Both Nel and Raphtalia called out to him
"Why'd you both come back? To laugh at me?" Naofumi asked in rage
"Master we heard the rumours…"
"And we don't believe them Naofumi-sama"
"Shut up, I don't need traitors!" Naofumi yelled
"Master please!" Nel begged
"I didn't do it! Stay away from me!" Naofumi cried out in rage
"Naofumi-sama we believe you..what can we do to make you believe us?" Raphtalia asked in desperation
"Believe you? After you both betrayed me, why don't you both go to Motoyasu or did you just come back to laugh at the loser's face?"
"Master we promised to always be by your side" Nel said more softly as both her and Raphtalia were approaching Naofumi.
"Lies!"
"Naofumi-sama we believe you"
"S-stay away" Naofumi said more hesitantly with some tears threatening to leave his eyes
Naofumi was then embraced by both girls as they rushed up to him and gave him a tight hug. Raphtalia was hugging his head while Nel was hugging his torso.
"We believe you Master Naofumi," Nel said in a soft tone. Naofumi finally calmed down and cried out his pent up frustration, sadness and anger until he fell asleep with Raphtalia and Nel carrying him out of the castle.
When Naofumi woke up he looked at both of them and said
5 Days later
It had been 5 days since the duel and both Naofumi, Raphtalia and Nel's Relationship had grown stronger with Neither of the girls having slave crest anymore as Naofumi now sees them as companions he knows that he can trust.
With Naofumi more comfortable with the 2 both of them have seemingly gotten more bolder with their approach of showing affection to their master, as their bodies also matured more now looking like 18-20 year olds.
Both Raphtalia and Nel would either kiss him on the cheek, touch Naofumi more often, let him see more skin, etc. This would prove to work overtime as Naofumi didn't see them as children but desirable partners. Until one day it would come full force when Naofumi finished his bath inside the inn he, Nel and Raphtalia were staying in only to find both the girls were in their underwear giving him hungry and seductive looks.

You know in hindsight I probably didn't need to make this chapter long. I just really wanted to create some trash semi-OP Shield hero fanfic with some smut in it. I was mainly inspired by the fanfic: 'Devil of the Shield-Time to rule' by dracokallikrates. In all honesty I may either drop this story, it becomes extremely rushed or stuff may happen to contradict previous chapters don't expect a good story.
Anyways if I do continue the story I'm willing to hear list of characters, items, materials, shield ideas and harem member ideas from different series in the reviews. Anyways iamchaos signing off.
