*Warning: For those who didn't read the manga (more precisely the arc(s) that will be referred to in the fanfiction), it contains not only characters in the plot who you might not know but also (and obviously), it contains spoilers. So, I politely recommend you read the manga first..*

It was supposed to go to the Headmaster's office to confirm the register, however I was greeted by the Vice Headmaster instead. "My apologies Lady Bollen, the Headmaster is not here lately but I can deal with the students' registrations." I nodded and I followed him to his office. "It is good to have a prestigious student at our school and according to your college's Headmaster, you have pleasing grades."

"Thank you for the compliment Vice Headmaster.." If I could contain my smile? Oh yes, I do because until now I feel so done being named as the 'prestigious'. Not even at this school I can be normal.

Anyways, after a short boring dialogue and signing the student book, Vice Headmaster Agares instructed me to go to the tailor to get my uniform and gave me an entrance card to give to the house where I'll stay.

As I left his office, I saw Katherine again. Probably she was waiting for me; she saw me and went towards me "How was it?"

"The vice headmaster is quite weird.."

"I don't disagree with you but be careful because he can give you Y's. It's the warning point here."

"I see, well I have the school handbook and I would read it, but thanks for the early warning."

"What are friends for.." We giggled. "Where are you going now?"

"Get my uniform and put it on.."

"I'll go with you! I'm curious, maybe we will stay at the same dormitory.." It wouldn't be bad being in the same room with Katherine then we could be together, but I believe she won't believe which house I registered for. I took a look at Katherine's uniform, as it could be seen the comparison for the student girls is for the color of the blouses and then a classic waist corset maxi black skirt. We went to the ladies room so I could get changed. "You're done Lucia?"

"Almost.." My God, that's a lot for just a uniform. Then, I left the ladies room as I showed it to my friend. "How do I look?"

She turned around with a smile, gladly she wasn't sad "It looks perfect on you, the skirt fits you well like a glove.." My uniform was the same as Katherine's, but the difference was that the lines on her cloak and her blouse are green while mine are purple. "That's sad we won't be at the same house."

"Don't worry, we can get along in our free time maybe.." Then, we started walking together with Katherine showing around the campus a bit; then, we saw eight young gentlemen at the Swan Gazebo from a distance. Katherine told me that four of them were prefects and the others were their fags, which it meant they coordenate the students and Katherine sneakily pointed at the two men in green. "The prefect is kinda serious.." she laughed.. suddenly as I look at his fag, my eyes open wide of surprise and shock. Lord Midford? He studies here? Crap, Ladies Phantomhive won't like to know about this.

"Lucia, are you alright?"

"Yeah, all good.. let's walk a bit more before it's night." And that's what happened.

The sun was setting, it was time for me to go to the Purple House. Katherine and I walked towards there, but once we were close, we were stopped at the entrance gates.

"Green House students cannot pass here." The guy was part of the dormitory from his uniform, his deathhawk hairstyle, he wore piercings in his ears, black scar makeup on his face and his nails were also painted in black.

Katherine was scared of him "No no, I just.."

I stepped forward "Hey, there's no need to scare her like that, she just brought me here.." the deathhawk boy was surprised by my attitude.

"Wait a moment.."

He responded to me interrupting Katherine "Beware your mouth young lady or you will receive two Y's.."

"Is there some kind of problem here?" we saw a curved boy covered by his hood that approached towards us.

Katherine said "My apologies Violet, I just took my friend to the dormitory gates." huh? My friend was scared by some guy, is there a problem about me defending her?

I was about to step forward but she stopped as she whispered to not comply back because I would be a bad image towards my dormitory's Prefect and Fag; as I thought a bit I remembered and realized looking at their faces because I saw them earlier at the Swan Gazebo and their flowers on their cloaks. I immediately flipped the script. "Forgive me, I just don't want to see my friend harmed because of me and I just arrived today.." Then, I showed them my entrance card the vice headmaster gave me and the hooded one took it to read and his reaction was of surprise.

"Is something wrong Violet?" The deathhawk boy said.

"Cheslock, we have the prodigy here.." oh for God sake, not this again. I already had the vice headmaster..

"Well, I will leave you here Bollen. See you tomorrow.." And Katherine left me alone with them.

"I thank you but I don't like being called a 'Prodigy'.."

The hooded boy said, "Having a student with such intelligence, it is surprising having you at our dormitory because we thought you would be at the Sapphire Owl.."

"Besides many people say I am for Maths, Science and Literature, I also enjoy Arts more.."

"That is good to know, my name is Gregory Violet, prefect of the Violet Wolf and this is Cheslock, my fag.." Cheslock glanced at me, giving me creeps. "I assume Seymour showed you around the school, so it will be less work for one of your classmates. Let's get in.." They went towards the entrance and, in my view, I picked up my luggage and followed them. Inside the Purple House was stunning with decorations in purple and black cut with the light and the students with the hood on, then I sensed they were following us; I stopped next to them at the music room. "Bollen, I have a challenge for you.." I was surprised. A challenge like right now? Violet placed his hand on the piano as I presumed he wanted me to play it or to know about my abilities at music.

"It seems the 'prodigy' doesn't want to show us anything.." Cheslock was teasing and testing my patience. I hate that kind of people but since I consider myself more polite than him, I draw a smile disguising my temper.

"With pleasure.." I placed my luggage somewhere close to me as I sat on the bench while them and the students were far away to watch me. Also, I had something in mind, so I started playing piano and then singing along..

As I finished my 'performance', I startled a bit from the applause from everyone who were present at the hall. My new classmates complimented me, including Violet; then, he told me that Cheslock will show me where my room was..

Walking with him along the hallway was awkward because of the silence that could fly by a raven outside. "We're here.." He finally decided to open his mouth when we arrived at my room door as he opened it for me. I entered and I looked around, my room was large with the same decorations as the whole dormitory, but I didn't mind.. "But before you unpack your stuff, I want to tell you something.."

"Are you going to ask forgiveness for trying to mess with my delicateness?"

He scoffed "It is actually surprising your calm after a tease Bollen.."

"Surely, because unlike you, I am polite."

Cheslock lifted his eyebrow "Careful missy, maybe I should remind you the rules" His voice was deep and threatening "Weston College is a school of traditions so: first, everyone here respects the Prefects and Fags as you have to obey the rules; second, you have to do every chore we command with no complaining; and lastly, if you don't obey these rules, you will receive Y's and until the limit, you will be expelled."

Obviously I knew the rules in general and the way Cheslock was talking to me it seems like he really wants me to be expelled, but I won't let that happen. "Don't worry, I know the rules very well, so you'll see me everyday.." I bowed to him saying 'Good night' and I entered my room.

After I unpacked my things, I wanted to hear his steps fading away; once he was gone, I sat on my desk, took a paper, past my feather pen in the ink and I started writing:

«My friends Phantomhive,

It is my first letter to communicate with you since I entered to Weston College and I hope you are doing alright as also the business between my family and yours, I believe I did not answer your proposal which I heartily accept to solve this mystery together in the name of Her Majesty.

However, I inform you that Lord Edward Midford is attending this school and for respect of Lord Ciel and Lady Elizabeth's engagement, I hope he won't be an obstacle because he knows me and Miladies.

In conclusion, what I request you is to wish me luck while I am at Weston on my own even if it will be hard to impress the Prefect and the Fag of the Purple House to get the informations you wish for..

I reread what I wrote after I finished writing to my parents about the news. I sealed the envelopes, with the letters inside, with my family's crest and put then on the table after I changed my clothes, let my hair down and put on my nightdress preparing myself to sleep.
