A/N: This is Part 2 to Callion! A New Life In DBZ. If you have not read that story then please read it. In my opinion, it's really good and it will explain to all who Callion is and what he's been through up until this point.

Give it a read. Enjoy.

...

Lazuli sat in her little apartment and watched the clock on her wall. It never stopped moving and it never went backward. Time kept moving forward and she knew it did, yet she wondered if it was ever going to go back. Go back to the day that 6 years ago.

She put down the small glass of alcohol filled with ice and leaned back in her chair. She crossed one leg over the other and continued to stare at the clock she finally gave up.

6 years and some months ago she remembered trying to revive him. She tried to revive the one she loved, but the dragon couldn't grant the wish. It couldn't bring Callion back to her.

Many tried to explain to her that it wasn't as bad as the dragon had made it seem, though she didn't listen at all. The only word that she heard was that Callion wasn't coming back.

Finally getting up from her chair, she walked into her room and noticed a figure flying outside of her window. It was the same person every day, and she was exactly who it was.

"Krillin," she said while looking at the bald figure.

"Hey 18," he said, using her given name instead of her birth name. "I couldn't sleep, figured you couldn't sleep either, and thought we could do some training."

She nodded her head and walked towards the window. Opening it up, the cool breeze rushed into her little apartment and caused her to shiver a bit.

Krillin noticed the action and blushed a bit.

"The usual spot?" Lazuli asked while stepping out into the cold night air. She carefully closed the window behind her and then looked at Krillin to wait for his answer. When he nodded she took off flying ahead of him. They had been racing to their battlefield for months now and she won every time even though she always got a head start.

Krillin wasn't slow in the slightest, but he wasn't fast enough to keep up with her.

When they reached the battlefield, they immediately began trading blows. A punch, then a kick, followed by a counter, and finally another attack. They continued for what felt like hours, though it was only just a bit under an hour before they finally stopped.

"We're both getting stronger," Krillin said with a smile on his face. "These late-night training sessions are really paying off. We can probably beat Gohan at this point."

"He's probably too busy playing superhero with that girl to try to focus on training," Lazuli said while sitting on the ground. "I don't blame him for not training as much though. He's young and deserves to have a normal life."

Krillin looked at her and nodded in agreement. "You're young too. Don't you think you deserve a life?"

"I work alongside Bulma at Capsule Corp. I think that I'm doing exactly what I like doing," Lazuli said with her head held high. "Plus I'm not that young anymore."

"You're in your twenties and it's been seven years since you first appeared. You're still young, especially if we're only counting how old you were based on your name."

"Why are we even talking about my age? We should probably get home so we can sleep before work tomorrow," Lazuli said as she stood up and stretched.

Krillin nodded his head and stood up as well. They both took off flying in the air and eventually reached Lazuli's small apartment window.

"Alright 18, I'm off," Krillin said as he watched her open the window.

"Thanks for the escort Krillin," Lazuli said as she smiled at him.

He watched her for a second more and saw something in her eyes. It wasn't happiness, nor the joyous look she had on her face when they were fighting, it felt distant. Lonely.

"You know 18, I miss him too," Krillin said as his gaze wandered to the ground. "He was a great guy and one of my best friends. He pushed me to be stronger than the Saiyans... or at least try to be stronger than the Saiyans," he said with a short and nervous laugh that followed closely after. "I just want you to know that you aren't hurting alone. I'm sure Callion is up there looking down at us with a smile on his face knowing that he saved our lives."

Lazuli looked up into the sky and smiled. "Thanks, Krillin," she said in a soft voice. Her tone caused Krillin to blush a bit and she noticed. She looked down slightly, then back up at Krillin. "Do you want to come in?" she asked in a soft voice.

Krillin's eyes widened. "I-I-I," he stuttered.

"I'll take that as a yes," Lazuli said as she walked away from the window with a small sway of her hips that captured Krillin's attention like a fly buzzing past his ears. He couldn't look away, nor did he want to.

He flew into Lazuli's window and closed it behind him to keep the warm air inside. The room smelled of vanilla and he loved it. As he followed Lazuli out of her room and into the living room, his face went from nervous to relaxed.

"Drink?" Lazuli asked as she walked to the fridge in the kitchen.

"Sure," Krillin said.

They both sat down and began drinking whatever alcoholic beverage Lazuli had in her fridge. They drank in silence for a while before the temperature in the room started rising even more than it was before.

Krillin turned to Lazuli slowly. When their eyes met, he leaned in toward her and for a second he didn't think that she would lean back in to meet him. Lazuli stared at him with wide eyes for a moment but she didn't lean in at all and somehow Krillin's lips made it to hers.

...

Callion breathed heavily as other sounds of heavy breathing reached his ears. He didn't want to touch the ground at all, but his legs were so weak that it was hard for him to stand. Callion didn't even want to take another step for fear of falling over. The metallic smell of blood was all around him and the heat from the fire was slowly burning his skin like it was slowly cooking him.

The entire battlefield was red and full of holes. Smoke rose from various spots on the ground but he smiled knowing that it was all over.

"Callion, are you ok?" someone said from behind him.

He turned slightly and noticed who was talking to him. "I'm alright Zayd, are you ok?"

"Yeah," Zayd answered while holding his arm. "We finally won the war. After 7 years of fighting, we finally won."

Callion nodded his head as he thought about the years of battle he had to go through. "Maybe we can finally be set free."

"Don't be an idiot!" another man yelled. "After winning a war like this, why would they let us go? What if another war breaks out and the king doesn't have us here? He'd lose that battle so fast. Besides, we'll need to protect everyone here so that the king can rebuild his kingdom and allow families to be made. Thinking the king would ever let us go was a mistake."

"Maybe so," Callion said while turning towards the older man. "Regardless, I'm getting off this planet."

"You're the strongest Callion. Who could stop you?" Zayd asked with a smile on his face.

"That collar around your neck," the older man answered. "We won't be able to go anywhere unless that collar comes off."

Callion looked down at the ground angrily. There was blood all around his feet and bodies everywhere that were beginning to stink. A green light on their collar began to blink, indicating that there was a ship heading in their direction.

"I hate this," he said as he looked up into the air. "I have to get back to her."
