Hello again everyone! Welcome back and welcome to one of my favourite Yoosung peices I've ever written, my baby if you will. I love writing Yoosung, he's simply just such a sweetie.

I hope you all enjoy and are staying healthy and safe! Much love!

- Mandie

It was her strawberry-coloured hair that pulled him from his shock first. Then, her soft humming. There was light peeking through the one high window and the sun hit her like a spotlight, making her look like an angel from heaven itself. The way she moved from flower pot to flower pot, watering the arrangement of plants with an air of delight around her.

When the front door finally closed, the little bell above the door went off, pulling the girl from her thoughts. She turned and gave him a grin, causing his heart to stop the moment he saw it, and it was then and there that he knew he had to get her name.

"Hey, welcome to Daisy's Flower Shop! Is there anything I can help you with?"

He could tell by her accent that she wasn't originally from around here, along with the fact that now that they were face to face, he could say with assurance that she had the brightest green eyes he'd ever seen in his life.

The only other person to have green eyes like that was…

He didn't want to think back. Not now.

"Hi!"

After his response, she blinked a few times before giving a giggle, placing her watering can down beside her cash register before leaning against the till.

"So, what brings you here? Usually when men come into our little shop, it's because they've pissed off their girlfriends or their mothers."

Now that he could properly take her in, one thing he noticed was how soft her skin looked and how it was a good shade or two darker than his own; though from heritage or from the sun, he couldn't tell.

At her prompting, his cheeks burned a dark red, the burn flushing down his face and neck, causing the girl across from him to laugh, though not at him. Her own cheeks burned a lighter pink as she fiddled with the ends of her hair; he watched a tanned finger twirl the ends as she apologized, his focus too deep on watching her hand to properly hear her.

"Huh? Uh, oh, sorry, I didn't hear you-"

She giggled again and winked, turning around to pick up her watering can once more.

"Don't worry kid, it's not an issue. Let me know if you need any help."

At those words, he puffed his chest and in a determined tone exclaimed, "I'm no kid! I'm 21!"

At his outburst, the girl turned and gazed at him with an amused expression, one eyebrow raised as she looked him up and down. After a moment, she shrugged with a hidden smile and went back to her flowers, commenting lightly, "Okay sweetie, if you say so."

Now feeling his face burn from embarrassment, he crossed his arms and huffed to himself, looking at all the bouquets with a bitter temperament until it finally slowed as he remembered why he even came here in the first place. Taking a deep breath, he walked around the beautifully arranged flowers, taking in the care that went into each and every bouquet.

He froze in his spot when the flower girl started humming again, the tune unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time. Something in his heart ached as he watched her nearly dance around the flowers, his breathing faltering when their eyes met again. This time, her cheeks went up in reds, her free hand covering one cheek in embarrassment.

"S-sorry, sometimes I forget people are around and it just kind of starts, if it's annoying I can stop-"

"It's really pretty."

She blinked a few times in surprise, the shock clear on her face to the point where Yoosung might have felt it himself if he had been any closer to her. He gave her an award-winning smile which she returned with a slightly anxious chuckle, pursing her lips to the side before turning her attention back to the job at hand.

After a while, Yoosung finally picked out the perfect bouquet, the bright colours mashing together beautifully but not overly in the face. He cleared his throat gently to get her attention and she whipped around, a curious expression on her face before she took in the bouquet in his arms and she grinned, making her way to the till.

"You picked a beautiful arrangement!"

She reached over and gently took the flowers, their fingers barely brushing but sending shivers up Yoosung's back either way. The way she looked at the flowers while taking the price tag off to start wrapping them, Yoosung swore his heart would burst then and there. Those green eyes slowly moved from the now adoringly wrapped flowers and he could see the smile on her face reach her eyes and it caused him to grin again, unable to find her smile anything but contagious.

"Thank you! And… you were right, by the way,"

Her eyebrows shot up at his remark, head tilting to the side in curiosity and question as she swapped his flowers for his money.

"Oh?"

She rang in his purchase, handing him his change and receipt, watching with a slightly surprised expression as he put the rest of the change into the no longer empty tip jar. He followed her eyes and felt confused that she seemed so surprised at the tip - her help and customer service was great, why wouldn't he tip her? With reddening ears, he murmured gently, "They're for my mother."

Leaning her elbows on the counter, she rested her chin on one palm and graced him with another bright smile.

"You picked a perfect one then. I'd know, since that's the only one I was able to make today."

Yoosung's eyes widened as he looked down at the wrapped flowers, back to her, then back to the flowers before exclaiming, "Wow! You did an amazing job! These were the only ones I really liked!"

It was her turn to blush, the fingers of the hand she rested on covering her lips to hide her slowly growing smile while a giggle slipped through.

"That's very kind of you, just make sure my boss doesn't hear you - she'll have my head!"

They both shared a laugh and she went to say something else when she heard the bell go off, looking to the door to see two new customers. She sighed softly, chewing her bottom lip for a moment before giving him a look of apology, which he accepted with a chuckle and held out his hand to her. She looked to it for a moment before straightening herself and shaking his hand, his palm warm in her own.

"Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope- um, we hope to see you again soon!"

He gave her that same winning smile and made sure to look her in the eyes as he responded sincerely, "Of course you will! I promise!"

Before he left, he made sure to look for a name tag on her shirt, unable to stop the smile that washed over his entire face as he made his way to the door. He opened it and before leaving, looked back and waved at the girl with a shout of,

"Thank you Mira! Have a great day!"

His heart pounded like a drum in his chest as she looked up at him in surprise, her cheeks turning almost as red as her hair as she threw him a wide smile and a wave of her own.

Yoosung hoped his mother liked the flowers, just as much as he liked the cashier.

Yay!! A lovely, fluffy little one shot for my Yoosung lovers out there. I'm thinking maybe a Seven story next?! Let me know what you think!

Be good my little peeps ! xoxo
