Prolog

Hermione Granger was standing in the Great Hall. She still couldn't believe it was over. The end of the war, the end of the curse ... It was the end and the beginning for her. For them. She wanted to see HIM. To see the one for whom she risked so much.

She was glad to be allowed to finish their education at Hogwarts. Looking around, she noticed empty spaces that had once belonged to dead students. She saw sad but relieved friends. Ron, Harry and Ginny were family to her. It was obvious that it was them who first caught her attention. However, not only they mattered to her. She smiled at the sight of Neville sitting next to Luna and Seamus at the Ravenclaw table. It was also important to her that a few stubborn Slytherins also decided to go back to school. Malfoy, Zabini, and a few girls she didn't know, but she knew they were younger than her. However, she couldn't see the face she cared about the most.

She didn't know how they would react to their relation... She didn't care about the reaction of others. She must have known he was fine. She hasn't seen him since the trial.

"Hermione …" - Ron's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. - "… Sit down before everything is gone." - The redhead, smiling, encouraged her to sit down next to him.

_Ron shut up and eat." - Harry's smile was a bit bitter but very sincere. - "Let her look around calmly. I was also impressed with how quickly the damage was repaired." her friend sighed. - "However, the biggest impression on me was made by the Monument to the Fallen and Meritorious standing near the Forbidden Forest."

Looking at Hermione, Harry was convinced that she wasn't looking at the Great Hall, but was looking for someone. She didn't tell them that, so he knew she wasn't ready to give them this information. He smiled at her. She was a family to him. Regardless of whether she thought about him or not.

He was disturbed by the sound of the door opening. Not only he pay attention to this sound. It was rare that someone entered the Great Hall during the Start of the School Year. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Hermione perk up. Her face lit up with a smile. A smile so broad he had never seen on her face before. Even after the Final Battle with Tom Riddle was over.

Harry Potter looked at the person standing in the open doorway. He saw a tall and thin boy in them. Long black hair fell slightly over his eyes. It was impossible not to recognize him. Theodore Nott.

"Holy shit, what is he doing here?" - he whispered softly enough that no one heard him.

He knew that unlike the Malfoys and Zabini who tried to redeem their involvement in the war by creating a charity, Theodore Nott disappear from public life. He was last seen before his trial. The only Death Eater trial that has been classified. Completely classified.

"Why was Hermione reacting like this to him?" - he thought.

Theo saw only one girl in front of him. After all, he didn't have to hide what they had in common. He looked and he was relieved to see that she hadn't changed. Her smile was as he remembered it. Her frizzy hair looked as if it had been blown away by the wind. She looked as if time had stopped for her.

"Hey Granger!" - He shouted with a smile on his face and then added - "Did you miss me?"

He quickly walked over to her and closed her hand in his. He wrapped his other arm around her waist and pulled her tightly against him. He pressed his face against her neck and after a while he felt tears streaming down his cheeks. Hermione sensed it. The Gryffindor stepped back and with her free hand, staring into Theo's eyes all the time, wiping every tear with her thumb.

"Calm down and watch me all the time. I wasn't with you, but now I am and I always will be. Remember that." - The girl sighed, she looked embarrassed - "And let go of my hand, because we look quite intimate holding hands in front of the whole school. They don't know what we have in common. Various conclusions can be drawn from this situation."

He laughed before answering her.

"Give me a moment. Due to the scars left by the damned Bellatrix Lestrange, the snake couldn't pass on to your skin." - Theo calmed down. He thought he wasn't so weak anymore. - "All right, I'm done. Will you introduce your boyfriend to me? I would like to judge if he is enough for you. I haven't had many opportunities to interact with the Weasleys, so I hardly know him. I would prefer Draco, but if Ronald Weasley is good to you, I will accept him."

"Ron isn't and hasn't been my boyfriend, little brother."

I edited this chapter. I wanted to write another chapter for this story, but after reading the chapters that were published, I concluded that this story couldn't be like this. I assumed it would be a story of manners, but I thought it would be good to focus on the fact that after cutting off the hydra's head, two more grew up. That is, when one problem is solved, they often show another one. Regards, katie-krum
