Chapter 2

Kelly was in her bedroom typing on the computer as a sigh escaped her lips. She hated the fact she got fired mostly because she had to make ends meet for her sisters. She kept thinking about the words their father kept saying about her being worthless and being no good to anyone.

Kelly angrily wiped the tears away, she was furious for what was said to her. She lost her self-esteem because of it, but her two sisters tried their hardest to bring it back up.

But even Kelly's sisters had their own issues that they came to her about, which Kelly went after the two family members who physically hurt Haley. Kelly was not afraid of the devil himself, when someone was hurt either a friend or sisters she went after them.

In school, her friends who got picked on she would always be the first to stick up for them. She would jump into a fight and help anyone, she was not afraid of anyone. She would get in trouble but that was just the way she was, and she didn't care.

Kelly got up and glanced out the window, and sighed as she tried to think of something they could do. She knew without a job she couldn't keep up with the bills with this apartment.

She sighed.

They didn't have the old family house that was left to someone else, not that it mattered. Kelly was looking out the window and saw lightning flash and she saw an eerie shadow in the parking lot. She looked one moment and the figure was there and the next they were gone.

"What the hell?" Kelly whispered as she jumped when the phone rang. "Hello," she answered.

Silence….

"Hello," Kelly said once more.

Phone goes dead.

Kelly frowned.

"Idiot," she said.

Kelly sighed once more, and then headed back for the computer. She needed to think of something, and think of it fast.

She hated problems, she really did.
