Chapter 14
Leon was messing with the fire he had lit, when Kelly was smiling to herself. Samara tilted her head sensing her friend was going to pull something with Leon.
"You know, Leon, when all this is all over there may be really good things to eat, very good things," Kelly said as Leon froze at her words.
"What?" he asked, startled.
Kelly leaned into him.
"What? Do you think you're the only one who can be snarky and suggestive?" Kelly asked, pulling him close for a kiss leaving him speechless.
Kelly pulled back then.
"Guess, you like me now," Leon said with a smile.
"Hmmm, maybe," Kelly said. "You have a way of growing on someone," she remarked.
"Do I now?" he asked.
"Yep, you do," Kelly said.

In another realm….
The three men from before sat having a meeting about the problem at hand were currently seated at a long table.
"What the hell are we supposed to do?" The one man said.
"Wesker demands results,"
"Look, my best scientists are working on this," he said.
"Maybe your scientists aren't working fast enough, Joyce,"
"Yeah, Wesker came to you for a reason," another man said.
"Look, I am doing my best, alright!" Joyce yelled. "I don't see either of you helping," Joyce snapped.
"No, but Savoy is going in with his team to handle three problems so that Wesker can get to some cop named Kennedy,"
"Yeah, Attinger's right, my team is the best at hunting," Savoy said.
"You better be!" Joyce exclaimed as Savoy stood up.
"I am going to get my team ready so we can be at that spot for the transport into that realm," Savoy said.
"Alright, go for it, Savoy," Attinger said.
Silence….
"Oh, and Savoy," Attinger said.
"What?" Savoy asked.
"Happy hunting," Attinger said as Savoy smirked.
It was finally all fitting into place.
