Kira looked around as he and Lacus walked through the dining room of the country club in Vancouver where the latter's family reunion was being held, seeing at least a few dozen of her relatives, Siegel amongst them, conversing with each other in both English and French. In the years since he and Lacus began dating, Kira had met a few aunts, uncles, and cousins here and there, many of whom he recognized as being present, though they were dwarfed by the number of people he was meeting for the first time. Still, most of them treated him like had always been part of the family, and he couldn't help but beam with pride when Lacus introduced him as her husband.
"Wow," he remarked to his wife after they mingled for a bit. "I never realized your family was so big."
"Both sides of my family were among the earliest arrivals in Vancouver," Lacus began to explain, though she trailed off when something, or rather someone, in particular caught her attention. "Oh my God, it can't be…"
"What is it… oh!" Kira began to ask before Lacus grabbed him by the arm and pulled him in the direction of a table where two people, a man and a woman, were seated together. The man had tanned skin and black hair, while the woman had rose blonde hair and was visibly pregnant. If Kira didn't know better, he would've assumed that the woman was Lacus's older sister.
"Oh my God, Feldt!" Lacus excitedly called out, barely able to believe who was right in front of her.
The man and woman turned their heads in response to the two college students making their way to their table, with the woman warmly smiling and slowly rising from her chair, the man next to her also getting up to make sure she was okay, at the sight of them.
"Lacus, is that you?" the pregnant woman asked with pleasant surprise, her voice noticeably similar to Lacus's, as she extended her arms for a hug, which Lacus carefully accepted after letting go of her husband's arm, giggling with delight.
"Yes it is, Feldt!" she answered. "It's wonderful to see you again! I didn't realize you would be here!"
"We decided to visit at the last minute, so we almost didn't come," Feldt explained, still smiling. "But now I'm so happy we came!"
Kira smiled at the sight of his wife hugging who he assumed was her cousin, though he couldn't help but find them uncannily similar in appearance as well, which made it all the weirder when the pregnant woman looked in his direction, a curious smile on her face that reminded him of the day he first met Lacus.
"Hello there. Are you Lacus's boyfriend?" she asked him as she and Lacus ended their hug.
"I'm actually her husband," Kira politely yet somewhat proudly answered as he walked forward and offered his hand, reciprocating her smile. "My name is Kira Yamato."
"Feldt Ebrahim," she affably replied, accepting his handshake, after which she gestured to the man next to her. "And this is my husband, Setsuna."
"Pleased to meet you," he politely greeted Kira and Lacus, serenely smiling as he shook both of their hands before motioning for them to join them at the table, gently helping his wife sit back down while the younger couple took seats across from them.
"If you don't mind my asking, how are you and Lacus related, Feldt?" Kira asked out of curiosity.
"I don't mind at all, Kira," Feldt answered as Setsuna put his left arm around her shoulders, letting her lean against him. "Our moms were cousins, which makes Lacus and I second cousins."
"Though everyone used to think Feldt was my older sister when we were kids," Lacus added as she rested her head on her husband's shoulder. Smiling, Kira then wrapped his arm around her waist. "Though I guess you could say that she was the older sister I never had before I met Cagalli."
To illustrate her point, she then pulled out her phone, going to a file of images she occasionally used to remind herself of what her mother looked liked, and selected one of herself, Feldt, and their respective parents, which she showed to her husband.
"Wow, you really do look alike," Kira remarked as he studied the picture, noting that it had been taken on the balcony of the Clyne family's lakehouse. He recognized the man on the far-left side of the picture as Siegel, albeit without a mustache, the smiling elfin-faced woman with rosy hair as Chantel, and the toddler in her arms as Lacus. To Chantel's right was a blonde-haired woman wearing a leather biker jacket with a serious look on her face that vaguely reminded him of thankfully rare occasions when Athrun's father tried to smile, though she seemed friendlier than him, a man with bright red hair who was flashing a toothy smile and the peace sign standing to the former's right, and a six or seven year old girl between them who he assumed was Feldt.
"Lacus and I lived a few neighborhoods apart, and whenever my parents were particularly busy, I'd stay with her and her parents, which quickly made us inseparable," Feldt continued after Lacus put her phone away. "Though my parents and I had to move to Ontario shortly before I started high school, meaning this is the first time we've seen each other in person in almost a decade."
"Which is why I'm so happy you came to this family reunion!" Lacus happily exclaimed as she bounced in her seat, eliciting a smile from her cousin, before a new thought came into her head. "Speaking of which, how are Auntie Marlene and Uncle Ruido doing?"
"Oh, they're doing good, Lacus, thank you," Feldt replied. "Mom was recently promoted to superintendent in the Guelph Police Service, and dad's still working as a mechanic."
"Wonderful!" Lacus congratularily said while Kira looked over at Setsuna, noticing how little he had said during the conversation so far.
"So, how did the two of you meet?" he asked Feldt and Setsuna, hoping the latter would be the one to answer.
"And, uh, how did… well, how did you end up pregnant, Feldt?" Lacus added, barely able to resist talking about the baby, her choice of words making Kira slightly blush out of embarrassment.
In response to the questions, Setsuna and Feldt exchanged looks, smiled, and turned back to Kira and Lacus.
"We met as freshmen in college," Setsuna answered as he fondly thought back to those days. "We both majored in robotics-"
"Cool," Kira accidentally interrupted before catching himself, his face reddening. "Sorry, I'm just glad to meet fellow roboticists."
Setsuna gave him a forgiving and sympathetic smile before continuing his story. "As I was saying, Feldt and I met in college and bonded over our shared interest in robotics. Both of us were part of the robotics club, and by the end of our first semester, we were dating and inseparable."
"That's the understatement of the century, darling," Feldt interjected with a grin, scooting her chair as close as possible to her husband's so she could more comfortably lean against him, after which she turned her attention to Kira and Lacus. "Because we both lived in Guelph, we never had to worry about long-distance dating… and let's just say that we took advantage of Setsuna having his house to himself whenever his father was away for work."
Lacus impishly smiled and thought back to times she and Kira would take advantage of her father having to go to Victoria, the memories of which briefly made her think about what she would do to him tonight before returning her attention to her cousin.
"I know, angel," Setsuna replied to his wife, affectionately pecking her on the cheek as he thought back to those days.
"What's your dad's job, Setsuna?" Kira asked out of curiosity.
"He's a crop duster. Former United States Air Force," Setsuna explained. "After he left the service, he wanted to do something that kept him in the air and found work of that nature was more readily available in Canada, so we moved to Guelph before I started high school."
Setsuna then pulled out his own phone and pulled up an image that he showed to Kira and Lacus. The picture was of himself as an adolescent standing between two adults, a blond-haired, green-eyed man dressed in a USAF uniform with a burn scar on the right side of his face, and a smiling black-haired Middle Eastern woman dressed in a Red Cross uniform.
"That's my father, Graham Aker," he said, pointing to the American man, his appearance and differing surname confusing the younger couple.
"I see," Kira replied as his eyes shifted to the woman, deciding not to inquire further about Setsuna's father. "Is she your mother?"
"No, a close friend, but I guess she was like a mother to me in a sense," Setsuna cryptically and wistfully answered as he thought about her. "Her name is Marina Ismail."
"What a lovely name," Lacus remarked, though she noticed that her cousin's husband seemed tight-lipped about this woman.
"It is," Setsuna concurred with a soft smile before putting his phone away. "Getting back on topic now, Feldt and I dated throughout college, and after we graduated, I proposed to her. She said yes, and now, two years later, we're expecting a daughter."
"Ohhh, what are you going to name her!? May I be the godmother!?" Lacus excitedly and impulsively asked, her attention now completely diverted, while Kira awkwardly shifted in his seat as he imagined himself and Lacus having children, something he found both appealing yet immensely frightening.
Feldt giggled in response to her cousin's question, being reminded of how her best friend reacted to the news, while Setsuna sat up and rested his right hand on his wife's belly.
"We're thinking of naming her Marina, after my friend," he answered while Feldt stopped giggling.
"And I'm sorry, Lacus, but our friend Christina already asked if she and her boyfriend could be our baby's godparents, and we said yes," she apologetically yet gratefully explained. "Though it means the world to me that you would offer to take care of her."
"I understand," she replied before looking back to Kira, noticing that he had been staring off into space ever since her cousin's unborn daughter was brought up, which concerned her. "Kira, are you okay?"
"Oh… oh! Yeah! I'm fine," he assured his wife as he tried to stop thinking about what their hypothetical children would look like and how they would affect their lives, the smile she gave him making it simultaneously easier and harder to do so. "Anyway, congratulations, Feldt, Setsuna."
"Thank you, Kira," Feldt appreciatively said to him before placing her free hand on top of her husband's. "So, since Setsuna and I told you how we met, would you mind telling us how the two of you met?"
"It's actually a bit of a funny story," Lacus began to explain. "You see, Kira and I sort of knew each other since middle school, and he even helped our mutual friend Athrun build Mister Pink. You remember Mister Pink, right?"
Feldt smiled and nodded as she remembered the pictures and videos of the spherical robot her cousin had received on her fifteenth birthday. Seeing it would actually motivate her to build one of her own with Setsuna's help, a larger orange model the two of them used as a mobile wi-fi hotspot and backup hard drive.
"Anyway," Lacus continued as she got back on topic. "Kira and I didn't really interact until a week before we started our junior year at high school, when Mister Pink broke. Athrun wasn't able to fix him, so he asked Kira if he could come over to my house and try fixing him. He said he would, and… and…"
Lacus's heartbeat intensified as she thought back to how she had fallen for him because of his gentle nature and willingness to hear her explain her political and philosophical views, which he then made some effort to learn about so he could better understand her.
"And we quickly discovered that we greatly enjoyed each other's company while I was there fixing Mister Pink, so we promised to keep in touch," Kira interjected, having noticed how his wife was becoming flustered and wanting to back her up. "When school started, Lacus began having lunch with me, my sister, and our friends, and it quickly became as though she had been hanging out with us for years."
"I love you," Lacus mentally said to her husband as she smiled and rested her head against his shoulder, making him blush while Feldt smiled with amusement at the embarrassment of her cousin-in-law.
"We started dating that same October, and…" Kira tried to continue, finding himself distracted by the smile he could see Lacus giving him out of the corner of his eye, making him want to kiss her.
"And?" Feldt asked, her smile growing wider.
"And we realized we were in love with each other soon after," Kira admitted, his face turning red as he thought back to that night at the lakehouse all those years ago. Thinking back to that night as well and relishing the memories, Lacus crept up and kissed him on the cheek, which only made him even more flustered.
"Oh, that's beautiful!" Feldt exclaimed as she clasped Setsuna's hand in hers, prompting him to smile and kiss her on the cheek as she reminisced about how the two of them had met and fallen in love.
"After we graduated from high school, we enrolled in different colleges in Victoria, moved in together when we started our sophomore year, and then Kira proposed to me with my mom's ring a year later," Lacus added, having finally centered herself enough to speak coherently again, though the memories of the proposal made her heart race.
Feldt began to say something in response, but the onset of her pregnancy cravings cut her off.
"Darling," she apologetically began after turning to Setsuna, blushing brightly with embarrassment. "Would you please get us some food? You know what to avoid, right?"
"Of course, angel," he softly replied, kissing her on the lips before getting up and going to Kira's chair. "Kira, would you mind helping me carry the plates back here?"
"Uh, sure," Kira awkwardly answered as he stood up, but not before giving in to his urges and kissing Lacus, who warmly smiled at him as he and Setsuna left, leaving her alone with her cousin.
"I'm glad you already found someone as sweet as Kira to spend the rest of your life with," Feldt kindly remarked once the two men were out of earshot, which made Lacus's heart leap with joy.
"Oh my God, I love him so much!" she happily exclaimed. "And I imagine you can say the same about Setsuna."
"Yes, I love him and our child more than anything else in the world," Feldt replied with a smile and content sigh, which brought a new thought to her cousin's head.
"I'm so happy for you, but I have to know, how did he react to you being pregnant?" Lacus asked out of curiosity, hoping she wasn't being rude.
"Marina came as a surprise to us both," Feldt answered, thinking back to when she told her husband about the results of her pregnancy test. "Though to say Setsuna was overjoyed would be an understatement."
"Really?" Lacus inquired, finding it hard to imagine her cousin's husband being particularly emotional.
"Like you wouldn't believe," Feldt told her. "Right after we broke the news to my parents, he asked my mom so many questions about when she was pregnant with me that I was afraid she would pull his tongue out with my dad's wrench, all so he could learn how exactly to keep both me and our baby comfortable and healthy, but his cooking does leave a bit to be desired."
Lacus giggled and listened intently to her cousin's explanation, though she was somewhat distracted by fantasies of herself and Kira having a baby.
"I'm so grateful for how supportive and attentive he's been, even if he can be overprotective at times," Feldt continued, feeling a bit guilty for saying that about her husband. "Though I understand why he's like that, so I can't blame him."
"What do you mean?" Lacus asked, which Feldt began to answer before hesitantly stopping as she realized the can of worms she had opened.
"Setsuna… has lost a lot of people he's cared about," she started to explain, making the smile drop from Lacus's lips as she leaned forward and paid close attention. "He was born in Iraq and lost his entire family during the civil war when he was an adolescent, after which Graham adopted him."
"What about Marina?" Lacus worked up the courage to ask, seeing this as best an opportunity as any to learn about the namesake of her cousin's child. "Why does Setsuna seem so reluctant to talk about her?"
"She was an Iranian relief worker who took care of children orphaned by the war, among them Setsuna before he was adopted by Graham, though she kept in touch with him and the other orphaned children after they were adopted or taken in by relatives," Feldt carefully answered. "After the civil war, she returned to Iran, where she entered politics as a reformer."
"What happened to her?" Lacus inquired as she took this information in, beginning to feel guilty for asking in the first place.
"A few months ago, we received a message from Marina informing us that she had been the target of an assassin and that she was taking on a new identity so she could continue her work in Iran without fleeing, which meant we might never see or hear from her again," Feldt told her, suddenly feeling the need to find her husband and hug him. "As you can imagine, Setsuna took this hard."
"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have asked…" Lacus said, though Feldt gently cut her off with a raised hand.
"You couldn't have known," she assured her before falling silent. For a time, an awkward silence persisted between the two cousins, disrupted only by the conversations of their relatives around them.
"I never had any doubts about keeping our baby, but it really was Setsuna's reaction that made me confident about being a mother," Feldt eventually said, a small smile returning to her lips. "I think after having his family and Marina taken from him, being able to bring a child into the world allowed him to take something back from life."
"Do you think you're ready to be a mother?" Lacus asked, reciprocating her cousin's smile.
"I don't think anyone is completely ready to be a parent," she admitted. "But I have Setsuna, and he has me, so I think we'll be able to manage when our daughter is born."
"I know you will," Lacus happily said to her cousin as another thought entered her head. "Oh my God, I didn't think about this until now, but how did Auntie Marlene and Uncle Ruido react when you and Setsuna told them about your pregnancy?"
"They took it pretty well, all things considered," Feldt answered, her smile growing wider. "Dad went through the roof at the prospect of being a grandfather, and while mom tried not to show it, she was even more excited."
Lacus couldn't help but giggle at her cousin's answer before the two of them shifted their conversation to lighter subjects while they waited for their husbands to return, though the back of her mind remained occupied by thoughts of something she would need to talk with Kira about when they were alone tonight.
"Is it just me, or do our wives really look and sound alike?" Kira asked Setsuna as the two made their way to the buffet table the next room over. Not only did he genuinely think that about Lacus and Feldt, but he had wanted to engage him in smalltalk to break the ice, so he was relieved when the older man gave off a small chuckle.
"If I didn't know Feldt was an only child, I would've mistaken Lacus for her younger sister," Setsuna answered with an amused tone in his voice.
"I know, right?" Kira replied, unable to keep from grinning, pleasantly surprised that the two of them had the same thought about their wives. "Next you're going to tell me that Feldt was also an Internet popstar."
"Unfortunately not," Setsuna sarcastically said as he imagined his wife dressed like a stereotypical pop idol, a mental image he couldn't help but find appealing. "And it's safe to assume Lacus isn't studying robotics in college, correct?"
"Nope, just political science and law," Kira told him as they arrived at the buffet table and each picked up two plates, one for them and one for their respective wives, before going to put food on them.
"Kira, may I ask you something?" Setsuna inquired some time later, after they had finished going through the buffet table.
"Uh, sure," Kira replied, somewhat surprised that Setsuna wanted to ask him something. "What is it?"
"When exactly did you realize you were in love with your wife?" he bluntly asked in response, causing the stunned younger man to nearly drop his plates in confusion before regaining his composure and thinking about the question. Kira wanted to say that he fell for Lacus at first sight, which in retrospect he did, but he didn't think that was necessarily the same as being in love with her.
"Remember when I told you and Feldt that Lacus and I realized we were in love shortly after we started dating?" he asked Setsuna after pondering his question for several seconds, which he nodded to in the affirmative. "Well, less than two months after we started dating, I made Lacus a music box for Christmas, though I gave it to her a few days early because I was proud of my work and eager to see if she liked it."
"Did she?" Setsuna asked, softly smiling.
"She said it was beautiful," Kira replied, his heart racing as he thought back to that day and what it had led to. "She then sang her mom's favorite song for me as a way to show her gratitude, and, well, it was even more beautiful, though the emotions she put into her performance got to her, and she started crying afterwards. I comforted her, then she said she loved me, and it was in that moment, as I held her in my arms and took in her words, that I realized I was in love with her."
Setsuna's smile grew wider as he took in Kira's story, who was now curious about his relationship with his own wife.
"If you don't mind my asking, Setsuna, but when did you fall in love with Feldt?" Kira inquired.
"I don't mind at all, but it is a long story," Setsuna answered, pleasantly surprised by his cousin-in-law's question.
"I'd like to hear it nonetheless," Kira said, reciprocating the older man's smile as the latter thought about the best way to explain it.
"Well, you have to understand that I was a loner in high school, and I didn't expect that to change when I started college," Setsuna began. "My plan was to study, earn my degree, and enter the workforce."
"I see," Kira remarked, relieved to already know that wouldn't be the case for him.
"My expectations didn't last the first week, however, as that was also when I first met Feldt," Setsuna continued, his own heart beginning to race as he thought back to that day almost six years past. "She saw that I was eating lunch alone and decided to join me. We began talking, learned that we were both interested in robotics, and began having lunch together whenever we could. After a few weeks, she invited me to have dinner with her and her roommate, and because I had come to enjoy her company, I accepted."
Kira's smile widened as he listened to the story, finding himself pleasantly reminded of how Lacus had become part of his and Cagalli's friend group in high school.
"Feldt encouraged me to join our college's robotics and gaming clubs with her, where I actually started to make friends, and, as I mentioned earlier, we began dating by the end of the semester, though I still hadn't realized I was in love with her by then," Setsuna explained. "During the February of our second semester, Feldt's roommate was off hanging out with her own boyfriend, so she invited me to her dorm, where we spent the evening playing Battlemechs. After… I forget how many hours later, she suddenly dozed off on my shoulder, and I didn't want to wake her up, so I just sat on her bed, staring into the screens of our computers and listening to her breathing as I thought about the love and friendship she had given me, and that was when I realized I loved her. I told her that when she woke up, she confessed that she felt the same about me, and, well, let's just say I was still in her room when her roommate came back the following morning."
Kira, already grinning from ear to ear, couldn't help but chuckle at how the story ended as he and Setsuna began walking back to where their wives were seated.
"Feldt is my angel," he added, falling in love with his wife all over again in the span of seconds. "She's brought so much light into my life, more than she can imagine, and I don't think I'll ever truly be able to repay her."
"Even more than a baby?" Kira absent-mindedly asked, suddenly regretting his question when the older man stopped in his tracks and blankly looked at him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend-"
"No offense taken," Setsuna assured him before deciding he deserved some clarification. "What you need to know is that while being with Feldt and having a child with her is already the greatest thing that's ever happened to me, it's also allowed me to close a long overdue chapter of my life and move on."
"I understand," Kira replied as he processed Setsuna's explanation and thought back to the picture he'd seen of him with Graham and Marina. He didn't entirely know what happened, but he didn't need to know to have a good idea of what had happened to his cousin-in-law in the past, how it affected him, and why his wife and unborn child meant so much to him. "Thank you."
A small smile returned to Setsuna's lips as he nodded before the two of them made it back to their table, where their famished wives were waiting for them, with Lacus getting up to help them set the plates down.
"Thank you so much," Feldt said once her husband, cousin, and cousin-in-law sat back down.
"You're welcome, angel," Setsuna replied as the four of them began eating.
"So, what did you two get up to while we were gone?" Kira asked out of curiosity, which prompted Lacus and Feldt to look at each other for a bit, smiling mischievously, which both men noticed, before the former looked back at him with a disarming smile.
"Oh, we just caught up some more," she replied, the tone of her voice letting her husband know that the two of them had a similar heart-to-heart as him and Setsuna. "Isn't that right, Feldt?"
"Mhm-hmmm," she cheerfully mumbled as she finished chewing and swallowed her food. "How about you two?"
Just as their wives had done, Kira and Setsuna briefly exchanged knowing looks before the latter turned to answer her.
"We talked and got to know each other while we were picking up food," he explained with a loving smile on his lips, which seemed to satisfy her for the moment.
From there, the four of them continued talking and eating before getting up and taking the time to mingle with the various members of Lacus and Feldt's extended family. When the afternoon gave way to evening and people began leaving the country club, Setsuna and Feldt let Kira and Lacus know that they would be in Vancouver for the next few days, meaning they would be able to spend some more time together before they went back to Guelph, along with promising to keep in touch afterwards.
While Kira wasn't particularly uncomfortable at large gatherings anymore, he still found them exhausting, so when he and Lacus returned to the lakehouse, which Siegel let them stay in whenever they visited, the first thing he did was plop onto the bed, bringing an amused smile to his wife's lips.
"Long day, Kira?" she teasingly asked as she climbed into bed and wrapped her arms around him, which he happily reciprocated.
"I guess so," he answered before pulling her in for a kiss, the sensation of their lips meeting making Lacus remember everything she planned on doing to him now that they were alone, but first there were some things she wanted to talk about with him.
"I'm really glad you got to meet Feldt today," she told Kira once they finished kissing, sat up, and began cuddling. "And I'm happy she found someone like Setsuna."
"They're certainly an interesting couple," he replied, reflecting on the conversation he had with his cousin-in-law while they were getting food for their wives, causing him to think about Feldt's pregnancy. "Hey, uh, what did you think about them having a baby?"
"Well, I grew up with Feldt, so I know she's going to be a great mother," Lacus said to him, glad to know her husband had been thinking about that as well. "Not to mention she has a loving husband like Setsuna. He actually reminds me of you, Kira."
"R-really?" Kira embarrassedly stammered as his face turned bright red, making his wife unable to keep from giggling.
"Mhmm-hmmm," she nodded, her smile growing wider. "You're both kind, attentive, good with technology, and while neither of you like being in large gatherings, you go to them nonetheless, not to mention that I think you'd be a great father-"
Lacus stopped talking when she saw her husband's eyes widen with a mixture of fear and surprise, which made her realize with no small amount of embarrassment that her choice of words probably hadn't been the best.
"I'm so sorry if I scared you!" she frantically tried to assure him. "I promise I'm not pregnant, it's just that seeing Feldt pregnant made me start thinking and-"
"It's okay, you didn't scare me, Lacus, I promise," Kira gently interjected as he pulled her back into his embrace, leaving her relieved yet hot and bothered at the same time. "To be honest, it made me think about us as well."
"When do you think we'll be ready to have children of our own?" Lacus asked him after spending several seconds silently working up the courage to ask the question, which made his heart begin to race as he thought about it.
"Honestly, while I'd be lying if I said I didn't find the prospect of having kids daunting, once we've graduated and moved somewhere bigger, I'd love nothing more than to start a family with you, Lacus," he eventually answered, making his wife's heartbeat go into overdrive.
"I'm sorry for putting you on the spot like that, Kira, but that means the world to me," she told him before sighing contentedly and nestling against him. "I love you."
"I love you too, angel," he happily replied, remembering Setsuna's pet name for Feldt and wanting to see how it sounded when he said it. "And you have nothing to-"
Impishly smiling at being called an angel, Lacus cut Kira off by pushing him back onto the bed and straddling him.
"You think I'm an angel?" she sultrily asked her husband, guiltily delighting in how flustered he became now that she was on top of him.
"I m-m-mean y-you are!" he insistently stammered, his heart rapidly pumping blood downward as his baser desires eclipsed his capacity for reason.
Hopelessly in love with the man beneath her, Lacus leaned down and kissed Kira, feeling him reach behind her and begin unfastening her dress, while she began tugging at his shirt. Breaking off their kiss, the two of them helped each other strip down to their underwear, after which they resumed kissing for a time, the sensation of their bare skin on each others' bodies intensifying their lusts. Ending the kiss some time later, Lacus, while still on top of Kira, sat back up, granting her a better view of her lovingly smiling husband and his almost naked body, and him hers.
"How about now?" she purred, slowly caressing his torso while he ran his hands up and down her thighs. "Do you still think I'm an angel?"
"A fallen angel, probably," he jokingly answered before reaching up his giggling wife's legs to pull off her panties. As he did so, Lacus took off her bra, then pulled off Kira's briefs, after which she began kissing his stomach and slowly working her way upward, Kira pleasurably moaning with each kiss. Planting one last kiss on his neck, she then pulled herself up to eye level, lustfully smiling as she felt the heat of his excited breaths on her face.
"That's more like it," she told him, after which they gave themselves over to a long and vigorous night.
Author's Note
I bet you weren't expecting me to add characters from Gundam 00 to my Gundam SEED fanfic, were you? This one-shot came about from me and Fnlrpa noticing that Lacus and Feldt were both voiced by Chantal Strand and deciding it would be funny for it to turn out that they were related. I'd like to thank him for letting me adapt plot points from Love and Robots (which I'm contractually obligated to advertise to you). Anyway, thank you for reading these one-shots. I hope you enjoyed them.
