"Enough already, just shoot the damn ball!"

Chuckling as he shakes his blue head of untamed hair. Left emerald green green eye over his shoulder shines with mischief mirth. Dribbling the red/black flamed designed coloured basketball. Both hear feminine giggling as they turn fully around. A long blonde haired girl with oceanic blue eyes walks up with a tray full of chocolate brownies.

"Older brother, you know Sonic is right."

"Once again you spot a miracle. Come here Maria."

Her blood red eyed, jet-black shaggy haired adoptive older brother gently orders. Her smile grows as she leans against his right side for their usual small hug.

Of course Sonic easily takes the brownie filled tray from her tiny snowy hands. Both boys forgetting the their game completely. "Shadow, I really like Amy. When are you going to ask her out?"

That innocent enough filled question gets Shadow blushing as he looks away. Maria looking up at towering older brother giggles again. He releases their hug, Sonic smirk full of brownies.

"You're a lot nicer when she's mentioned and definitely when she's around."

"Shut up, Faker."

Red eyes glare darkly, tho his little sister's proximity calms his urge to do more. That only makes Sonic outwardly chuckle.

"See? You'd have hit me by now."

They hear a horn honking, Sonic's face breaks into a joyous grin has a child on Christmas morning. He runs to the curb as the purple corvette pulls up.

"My Queen, what miss me already?!"

A tall beautiful snow white short haired girl with a sassy smirk and teal green eyes. Immediately Sonic pulls her close their lips assault one another.

Sonic can feel Shadow's annoyance growing, as the basketball is thrown to the back of his head, Rouge moved them to the side, yet she catches the in coming ball as if it's normal. Saving her boyfriend from their best friend.

Rouge breaks the make out, licking her lips over Sonic's left shoulder she smiles softly.

"What did Big Blue say this time?"

"Nothing! Just that he needs to ask Amy out."

Rouge turns from Shadow's unresponsiveness to waving to Maria holding a half eaten tray of brownies. Rouge and Maria's laughter has Shadow sigh feeling truly trapped.

"Well Mr. Sunshine, I happen to know your Rose is at the library right now. Wanna lift?!"

The all knowing smirk on the girl's face Shadow blushes again but she can see in red eyes, he wants to give in.

"The library on a Saturday?! Damn I knew she was a nerd but-"

"Okay, okay I'm an idiot!"

Sonic pleads as Shadow ruthlessly chokes him. Rouge sighs, arms crossed over her huge bosom. Marin's oceanic blue eyes look on sadly. 'Oh Shadow, just make Amy my sister-in-law already.'

"Hey I like him around. Don't kill him."

Shadow looks to Rouge, the smirk on his, she fondly shakes her head as he releases the gasping blue haired boy.

"Get in."

Rouge orders opening the the back door. Both boys clench in with Sonic crawling towards the shot gun side beside his girl. Mari's sweet smile and nod have Shadow softly smile. She waves as the purple corvette drive off.
