Walking into a candlelit room of Hell, Thana smirked, seeing the dual-toned hair male napping in the corner. Her brother hadn't and would never change.
It doesn't matter when or where; as soon as Belphegor feels tired, he sleeps.
Brushing the white part of his hair away from the dark indigo, Thana peered down at his childlike features, wondering how a Demon managed to look so innocent as he sleeps.
The redhead may have been the youngest of her siblings, but that doesn't mean she was the least powerful, nor does it mean she wasn't the boss.
She still nevertheless was the youngest, so with a bit of glee, she grinned as she let out a roar and then giggled as her older brother jumped up from his napping spot with a scared expression.
Belphegor's terror-filled face dropped into annoyance as he sighed, hearing her laughter, "Thana" holding herself up, the younger Demon replayed his expression in her mind.
"Good afternoon, Belphie," Thana said with a genuine smile. Belphegor was her favorite brother. Any time with the sleepy Demon was fun; they both had so much in common.
Including their dislike of humans.
In fact, Belphie was the one that hated the human race more out of the two. Thana usually didn't mind the lesser beings as long as they did as they were supposed to.
"Sleeping on the job, are we?" The redhead mused with an innocent expression knowing she was only tormenting her older brother.
"I wasn't sleeping," The indigo-haired Demon retorted, "just resting my eyes while I was thinking on new ideas for my work" Thana just rolled her eyes at his words, knowing full well he was lying.
"Whatever," she huffs, dropping down on the couch as Belphie leans his head on her lap, closing his eyes again, as the younger Demon tugs parts of his hair playfully.
"Did you hear about Balthazar?" Thana's fingers stop suddenly at the mischievous tone in her brother's voice when asking about their other brother.
"No, what happened?" The redhead asked, raising an eyebrow, the last time she had seen Balthy was after being released from her seal due to his greed.
"Well, someone told Michael about him stealing your seal after Castiel had bound you, and then he also found out that you're free now. He took Balthazar for a 'talk,'" Belphie explained as his purple eyes shone with amusement.
A smirk stretched across the younger Demon's face. No one had known that Balthazar was the reason for her escape, but apparently, some people were a little suspicious.
It was an accident on Balthazar's part, but he was still being punished for it.
"Poor Balthy," Thana jokingly pouted, "Uncle Mike is going to tear him a new one" Belphie laughed at her words as the two of them made fun of their Father's angel older brother.
Michael and Lucifer had once been very close until the younger brother fell from Heaven and became the ruler of Hell. The narcissistic angel also loathed that his brother had children after he fell, knowing they would be Demons.
Then along came the last and youngest Demon, Thana. Michael had a special kind of contempt for the redhead who Lucifer seemed to dote on. The girl just couldn't be disciplined, her smile was wicked, and she had the anger of a roaring fire.
It wasn't until after Thana became Death that Michael began to detest her. She wouldn't work alongside the Angels and hated any advice given to her by the Demons.
Michael argued that someone with demonic blood couldn't truly be able to be fair and just. That Death needed to be neutral, so in true Thana fashion, the redhead created a special kind of plague that affects the earth every 100 years.
The effects were monumental, and thousands of people died from it. Michael had instantly tried to have a 'talk' with the youngest Demon, but unfortunately for him, he was the only one who came from that meeting with an altered perspective.
He wouldn't admit it to anyone, but the redhead Demon terrified him. No one knows to this day what was said or what happened, only that Michael never tried to speak to Thana again directly.
"Any news on Castiel's whereabouts?" The female inquires, trying to sound blase but failing miserably. Everyone in Hell and Heaven knew about the feud between Castiel and Thana.
No one wanted to get in between the two. A war between the two realms was not something either domain wanted. But both Castiel and Thana were known for being ruthless when it came to things they wanted.
Unfortunately, the thing they both wanted was the other gone. Only Castiel wished to put his little sister in her seal and hope to help 'rehabilitate' her, whereas Thana was out for blood.
"No, but I'm still looking" a puff of frustrated air left Belphie's lips. He disliked the Angels too, not as much as he hated humans, though. Belphie was Hell's finest torturer, and he took pride in his work to the dismay of the Angels who deemed it unnecessary and cruel.
"When you find him make it painful," Thana pouted, remembering how Castiel had been trapped inside her seal. She would have been in there for a long time if it hadn't been for Balthazar.
She took great offense to the idea.
"Anything for my favorite little sister," Belphie smirked as he glanced up at his little sister, who cutely pursed her lips. He knew that she was the most deadly out of all of them, but she would always be his adorable little sister.
He remembered the day fondly when she learned how to use her powers and when she received her first hell-hound.
Thana rolled her eyes with a slight smile curling at the corner of her red lips. "I'm your only sister Belphie."
"Thank God," Thana heard Belphegor mumble under his breath playfully.
Rolling her teal eyes, the redhead lets out an annoyed groan that could rival a human teenage girl. It's funny how being around her favorite brother could do that. "Don't bring Gramps into this."
Belphie only snorted as Thana gently pushed him off of her so she could stand. Her brother let out a tired whine as his head dropped down in the empty space where the redhead was sat.
"Well, if you'll excuse me, dear brother, one of us has a group of humans to attend to," The younger Demon said as she raised a smug eyebrow.
The indigo-haired Demon stared up at his sister before giving her an evil smile "make sure it hurts," Thana returned his wicked expression as she disappeared with a snap of her fingers.
