We finally get an overview into Erebus's semblance, which, if you couldn't already tell, does something a bit different then creating illusions.

I had noticed that there were no grimm attacking me, even though I was in the middle of the forest, absolutely radiating negative emotions. Something to figure out at some point.

Maybe it was part of my semblance?

How does my semblance even work? He's an illusion, supposedly, maybe I could just ask him? I mean, he's made from my semblance, maybe he knows how it works.

"Dad, do you know how my semblance works? I mean, you were created by it, so I assume you understand it a little, right?" I asked him, and then realized I just called an illusion dad. Maybe he's not even my semblance and I'm just going insane.

"I'm not actually part of your semblance, son, just a side effect. I'm sorry, but, thats the truth."

"I was right after all." I sniffled. Staring down at the grave, I cried.

I heard the chittering of a deathstalker as the massive arthropod charged me.

My grief gave way to rage, rage against the grimm, for all the hardship they had caused me. And rage against myself, for being too weak to stop them. I raised my empty palm, and said one word

"Die"

It came out in an animalistic, horrifying growl that would strike fear into all those who heard it.

As if the world had heard my command, blood red lightning leaped from my hand, forming lines across the deathstalker's body before it disintegrated into nothing with a terrified shriek.

The vengeance flooded my body, wrath consuming me, as I ran through the forest.

Beowolves, gone. Ursa, annihilated. Deathstalkers, destroyed and even a Goliath fell one by one, in a flash of red light.

I saw 4 weird bipedal grimm running towards me. I grinned, feeling the bloodlust drive me to strike them down, and so I complied.

I moved in a blur of motion and faced my palm towards the white haired one.

I knew my power now, energy rushed to my hand. And as my power crackled around my hand, I felt the world slow down.

Slowly, inch by inch, my power made it's way towards the white haired one. Then, I felt my muscles freeze up. My power began to die, but I pushed it forwards, grazing the cheek of the white haired one, who let out a decidedly non-grimm scream.

I saw the blonde one disappear in a rush of speed, and then everything went black

I awoke and immediately rushed forwards and tried to erase whatever was in front of me, but I felt handcuffs stifle my aura. I groaned as I hit the bars of a cell, taking the full impact due to my suppressed aura.

I groaned "What the heck happened to me." I looked around, seeing a metallic cell with energy bars, a bed, and a toilet.

What the heck did I go to prison for?

I waited for what must have been at least 6 hours before, finally, something happened.

A man walked into the room, wearing a suit and tie, but what really caught my attention was the robotic arm on his right side.

Behind him came a white haired woman wearing a combat uniform much like my own, but she had a pained expression and scars that looked almost like the branches of a tree.

"I see you have woken up. Erebus Seraphim."

Ok, so the robot guy knows my name, and, presumably, he's probably the one who locked me up.

"Why am I here?" I asked, bluntly. I wanted answers.

"Straight to the point I see, you were detained for making an attempt on one of my ace operatives lives."

What was this guy talking about, I hadn't even seen anyone since, dad.

"I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about." I said, trying to keep from breaking down.

"Sir, permission to speak?" Said the lady next to the robot guy.

"Granted."

"I beg to differ." she pointed at the scars on her face. Looking closely, they seemed to resemble scars made by lightning... Oh.

My eyes widened

"So you do know something. Tell me, what lead to you wiping out an entire population of grimm on the outskirts of Sanctum Academy, and then proceeding to attack my hunters?"

I thought back, trying to see through the red haze that had enveloped me as I fought armies of grimm.

"I think I unlocked my semblance, and I couldn't control it. I don't remember much after that, but I remember getting knocked out with a chop to the back of the head."

"Do you think you could control your semblance?" He asked, with a small smile, judging by the horrified look on the woman's face, she didn't like where this was going.

"It's too dangerous, you didn't see what he did Ironwood." she looks up with fear in her eyes.

What did I do when I was in the red haze that scared her, presumably a hardened professional so much.

He, now Ironwood, ignored her, and continued to address me "So, can you?"

I see where he's going with this "I think so."

He smiled, and shook my hand "Then you have been enlisted into atlas academy."

I'm going to give out the name of Erebus's semblance, I call it Oblivion
