Kenickie Murdoch was walking out of Frosty Palace while putting his sunglasses on and then he saw a blonde head sitting in his car, which he calls "Greased Lightning". So he chuckles, because he knew it was Putzie. So he walks to his car. "Something on ya mind kid?" Kenickie asked as he got in and Putzie just looked up at him.
"Nothing, just forget it." Putzie replied.
Kenickie taps his arm.
"Come on, what's really buggin' you Babyface?" Kenickie asked gently.
So then Putzie took a deep breath.
"It's just that...I feel like I'm not good enough." Putzie told him.
"What do you mean by that?" Kenickie asked, as he was starting his car.
"I mean, being a T-Bird...I always get pushed aside," Putzie said. "Putzie, no beer, Putzie go home we'll deal with anyone who ticks us off, Putzie don't smoke and even, Putzie stay in Greased Lightning, no rumbling."
Kenickie lets out a sigh.
"I wanna be like you guys, you even let Doody rumble." Putzie said. "And he is the same size as I am."
Kenickie lets out a chuckle and looks away from the road, to glance at Putzie and then back at the road.
"Look Putz, I know you wanna rumble and all…and of course be like us...but the reason why we don't let you do those things is because...it's because we're trying to protect you from getting hurt." Kenickie told him.
"I know and I really appreciate you guys looking out for me and all..." Putzie started. "But at least let me get a chance to rumble though. Just once?" He adds.
Kenickie let out a sigh.
"Putzie, you remember what happened to Derek when we was 3." Kenickie spoke. "The man almost lost his life due to rumbling."
Putzie looks down, feeling sad.
"Look buddy," Kenickie starts. "I'm sorry, but we just…we promised Derek and everyone else that we wouldn't let you or Doody get killed. Besides, we don't rumble as nearly…just with Leo, cause he pisses us off."
Putzie let out a small chuckle.
"Derek was so scared when he found out that Danny rumbled Leo, when we was 16 years old." Kenickie told him.
"Oh yeah…" All Putzie said.
Kenickie chuckled at his youngest best friend.
"But I'm strong." Putzie says.
"Yes we know you are, but there's a reason why we're so overprotective of ya." Kenickie said.
"Tell me? Please..." Putzie asked.
Kenickie glanced to see the innocent in Putzie's eyes.
"Because you're not just our best friend...you're our baby brother and it's our job to keep you safe." Kenickie told him.
Then Putzie smiled a little.
"Oh, really?" Putzie asked.
Kenickie nods his head.
"Yes, ya dork!" Kenickie smirked.
Putzie laughs a little.
"Come on, let's go to my house and watch some football ehh." Kenickie said.
"Alright!" Putzie cheered happily making Kenickie chuckled.
"I love you kid." Kenickie smiled.
Kenickie rubs the back of Putzie's head and drives off to his house.
