Despicable Me It's a Small World

One day, Lucy was working on her computer with her bare buttocks sticking out from behind. She was working at home today which she did sometimes. Margo came in. ''Hi Mom'' she said, ''Margo, I can't talk right now'' replied Lucy, ''I'm very busy, Momma's got a lot of work to do''. ''But Mom, your butt is showing!'' Margo protested. Lucy stood up, pulled her pants up and sat down again. ''Now off you go Margo so I can get on with my work'' she said. So Margo left Lucy alone. At the end of the day when Lucy had finished all her work, she and Margo watched the film Dolittle together. Then at bedtime, Lucy read Margo and her sisters a story about a giant who whenever he got angry, he stamped his feet and shook the village where the tiny people lived. Margo listened, her eyes wide with wonder, she was spellbound. She wasn't sure if she wanted to meet a giant herself though.

Next day in the afternoon, Margo went to play in the woods near to Gru's house. Lucy had said she had to be back by suppertime. It was quiet and peaceful in the woods with only the sound of the birds singing. Margo walked along the path through the trees. There was a bit of wasteland on the edge of the woods. Margo ventured further along. To her surprise, there was a small tunnel sticking out from part of the brick wall. It was quite a low tunnel.

She crouched down to look down it. It was too small to stand up and walk along it. Margo got down on her hands and knees and started to crawl along the tunnel, curious to see where it lead to and what was on the other side. It was dark inside the tunnel, but Margo kept going until she could see light in the distance. She came to the end of the tunnel and found crawled out into the open air once again. Margo could stand up again now. She walked on until she came to some gates in front of the biggest castle she'd ever seen in her life. There a note attached to the gate, it said 'See you after my holiday, sincerely Boris the giant'. Margo still wasn't sure if she wanted to meet a giant, so she didn't want to hang around the castle in case the giant who lived in the castle came back today. She saw there was a signpost pointing in alternative directions.

Margo headed in the direction where the pointed sign said 'Village'. Margo came to the village, but it was tiny and she was giant size! The surrounding trees came up to her knees and the houses came up to her chest. Some tiny people the size of pens and pencils came out and saw Margo who was speechless for words because she couldn't believe what she was seeing. In her head, she was thinking to herself ''Oh my goodness!''. ''Go away!'' yelled the tiny people, ''We don't want you. We've already got one giant. We don't want another one or a giantess!''. Margo knew that giantesses were female giants, but she didn't like where this was going.

Then the tiny people threw dirty squishy things at her that went in her hair and all over her clothes. ''Go away!'' they yelled again, ''We don't want another giant or a giantess. We don't want you!''. ''Stop it!'' shouted Margo, ''I'm not a giantess. I'm a girl''. ''Well you look like a giantess'' said the tiny people. Margo began to cry. She fell to her knees and put her hands over her face and wept. ''I'm not a giantess'' she sobbed, ''I'm a girl and I don't like this place''. Margo's tears were so huge as she was giant size, they splashed down on the tiny people and made big puddles on the ground. "AAAAAAAHHH!" shrieked the tiny people. They quickly put up their umbrellas to prevent themselves from getting any wetter. ''Giants and giantesses don't cry'' said the tiny people after a moment, ''Perhaps she is a only a girl, but to us, she looks like a giantess. Maybe she can help us''.

So one of them said, ''Look, young lady, we're sorry for misjudging you and throwing things at you, can you help us please?''. Margo wiped away her tears, ''Uh sure'' she said, ''How?''. ''Well first, let's go to the beach so you can clean yourself up with seawater'' said one tiny man, ''By the way, what's your name?''. ''Margo'' said Margo. The tiny beach wasn't far from the tiny beach, it didn't take them long to get there. Margo soon cleaned herself up using little splashes of seawater. Then she and the tiny people headed to a tiny orchard just outside of the tiny village. Margo was so huge, she could shake lots of the apple trees at once so that lots of apples fell down all at once.

It would have taken ages for the tiny people to pick all those apples off the trees themselves, but with Margo's help, all the apples were picked, boxed and bagged in no time. Then she helped the tiny people mend their houses by removing broken roofs and putting them back when they were fixed, no one had to climb any ladders! ''Well done Margo!'' cheered the tiny people, ''And thank you!''. ''Our giant, Boris threw this massive rock at us cos he was angry'' said the tiny mayor of the tiny town afterwards, ''We don't want it here. Can you remove it from the village please Margo?''. ''Yes'' said Margo, ''I'll try''. She picked up the large rock. It was quite heavy, but Margo managed to carry it out of the tiny village. '' Good old Margo!'' called the tiny people. They all liked Margo. The village band played for her. ''Thank you'' everyone said, ''You have helped us very much!''.

At that moment, Boris the giant who lived in the castle came back from his holiday. He was very angry when he saw Margo in the village. ''I'm the giant here!'' he shouted as he ran towards the village. But he wasn't looking where he was going. Crash! Boris tripped over the large rock and dropped all his things. ''Ouch!'' he yelled. Everyone heard the commotion. The tiny people were frightened, but Margo went to help Boris, he had bumped his head and was seeing stars. Margo picked up Boris's things, then she put a bandage on his head. Margo was bigger than Boris.

''You shouldn't have thrown that rock at the people, Boris'' she said sternly, ''You could have killed someone! You need to find better ways to solve problems when you are feeling angry''. Boris felt terrible. ''I'm sorry'' he said, meekly, ''I'll try to be more careful in future''. ''Hooray!'' shouted the tiny people, ''Let's have a party!''. As they ate and danced, Margo noticed the time on the tiny clock tower, ''It's time for me to go now'' she said to Boris and the tiny people, ''Goodbye, thank you for the party''. ''Goodbye Margo'' they all said as she made way back to the small tunnel she'd come through earlier. Margo crawled back along on her hands and knees in the dark tunnel until she came back to where people and buildings were normal size. Then she hurried home and arrived just in time for supper. Margo wasn't sure if Lucy or any of her family would believe her if she told them about her adventure in the land of tiny people. So she kept quiet.
