His Golden Eyes

Jirou sat in her room crossed legged on the bed lightly strumming one of her many guitars. She was lost in thought she had been trying to come up with new lyrics for a song and somehow always ended up in cooperating something to do with golden eyes.

"Ah dam why can't I stop thinking about him?"

She was talking about Denki Kaminari ever since she had been stuck to him no thanks to Mineta she couldn't stop thinking about him and it had been 3 days. Every time she saw him her mind went back to that fateful night where she slept in the same bed as him. Now he was even invading the lyrics of her songs. She started thinking about him again his alluring golden eyes, infectious smile, slender and toned body she shook her head.

"What's wrong with me?"

She felt silly why was she getting all flustered they had been dating for a while now so why now was, she so embarrassed. As she pondered the thought there was a light knock on her door.

"Coming."

She opened the door to see the tall burette standing there.

"Oh, hey Momo what's up?"

"I need some advice."

"Come on in."

Momo came in and sat on Jirous bed.

"So, what do you need advice on."

Momo fidgeted slightly "Boys" she said quietly.

"Boys? What about them?"

"Well, I … have a crush on someone but don't know what to do and since you have a boyfriend, I thought maybe you could help me."

"Oh my gosh sure but who do you like?"

"Um I…I … I like Todorkio." She said turning red.

"Awe you two would definitely be a cute couple. Well, I will help you best I can what do you want to know?"

"I am wondering how did you find out the Kaminari liked you."

"Honestly after the festival he told me."

"Oh, so he told you I see. I thought maybe you told him."

"Sorry I guess that doesn't help too much."

"How about where is a nice romantic spot for a first date."

Jirou went to answer but stopped a romantic spot for a date. Had she ever been to one, sure she had been on many dates with Kaminari but nowhere romantic. She started to wonder if he liked her like that he had too right. She was snapped out of her thought when Momo spoke again.

"Jirou?"

"Huh oh sorry to be honest I don't really think we have been anywhere really romantic."

She sat down on her desk chair. Just then Momo saw the lyric pages on the bed.

"Is this the new song you have been working on?" she said starting to look at it.

"Wait Momo it's not done."

Momo looked at her friend "Is this about who I think it is about?" she smiled.

Jirou felt her face get hot "it's not what you think. He has just really been on my mind lately and I don't know what to do."

"Lately?"

Oh no she had said to much. She hadn't told anyone about what had happened only her and Kaminari knew the whole story. She could feel Momos eyes on her so she decided she had no choice.

"What I am about to tell you, you can't tell anyone else give me your word."

"Alright" Momo nodded now looking more serious.

"A couple days ago I went to see Kanimari and surprise him with a kiss but…" she mumbled the last part.

"Sorry, what was the last part?"

She took in a deep breath "But our faces got stuck together."

Momos eyes widened in shock "What? How?"

Jirou felt her face get even hotter she looked away from her friend "Well it was because of Minetas sticky ball." she then explained the whole situation to her best friend.

"So, if I understand correctly, you and Kaminari had to spend the night together and sleep in the same bed, because he did something to upset Mineta and got a sticky ball to the face and now you can't stop thinking about him is that right."

Jirou nodded

"I mean I have been dating him for a while but we have never been on a romantic date where it was just us."

"You should ask him out on one then. Anyway, thanks for the advice I better get going." She waved good bye to Jirou and left.

Jirou thought to herself "There is no way I can just straight out ask him to go out but maybe if I can get him to ask me out, that could work."

The Next Day

Jirou had spent all morning trying to figure out how she was going to get Kaminari to ask her out on a date. She had finally come up with a plan, there was a new romantic movie that had just come out if she could somehow get Kaminari to ask her out to the movies that would work.

"Hey Kamninair "she said smiling slightly at the blond.

"Oh, good morning, Jirou." He replied with that infectious smile of his she loved.

'Have you seen any good movies lately?" she asked being to lay her trap.

"No, I have been super busy but I am free this weekend."

"Really cool I have heard a lot of good movies are coming out I was thinking on going." (Alright now ask me to go with you) she thinks.

"Awesome" he turns to Sero and Kirishima "Hey dudes do you want to go to the movies this weekend?"

"WHAT" Jirou screams internally "He is supposed to ask me out not go with his friends this totally back fired."

But she wasn't going to give up that easily she would just have to come up with a different plan.

Later On, That Day

Alright if he won't ask me out to the movies, I will get him to take me out to eat she thought.

"Hey Kaminari" she said smiling while walking towards him.

"Man am I ever hungry I could really use something to eat I wouldn't care where it was from." She looked at him waiting for him to offer to take her somewhere anywhere.

"Oh, hang on here I didn't eat my muffin at lunch you can have it." He said handing her the muffin.

"Huh oh um… Thank you." She said as she thought another failed attempt.

After her second failed attempt she was getting discouraged, it was exhausting trying to get him to ask her out, maybe she was right and he wasn't into her romantically. That night in her room she was looking at herself in the mirror what exactly did he like about her? She was nowhere near as developed as Momo or Mina, and when it came to personality she could never be as bubbly or hard working as Uraraka and Tsuyu was the kindest person she had ever met everyone had something going for them. Then there was her flat chested an introvert with a somewhat bad attitude she stared at herself as her self-esteem fell.

Meanwhile with Kaminari

"Dude the manly thing to do would be to just ask her." Kirishima smiled at his friend.

"Easy for you to say. I don't have your confidence." The yellow headed boy slumped in his chair.

"But you guys have been dating for how long?"

"Yes, but I have never asked her out on a romantic date, what if she is not into that sappy romantic stuff and shots me down."

"If you are unmanly and never ask you will never know."

Sero interjects "I can save you the trouble. I over heard Mina gossiping with the girls about some romance manga she was reading but Jirou had her headphones one and was looking at her phone so there's your answer."

"Thanks dude you're a life saver."

Kirishima slightly offended for being ignored says "If Bakugo was here, he would call you a wuss."

Kaminari looks a Kirishima in shock "You have been spending an awful lot of time with Bakugo lately."

"He's my friend just like you!" Kirishima says with a slight blush.

"That's another thing I don't understand how you can be friends with someone like him. You guys are complete opposites."

"You know opposites attract." Sero adds.

"HEY…He is not that bad if you get to know him… what about you your friends with Mineta."

"Whoa Mineta is not that bad he is super chill and I don't have to worry that I might get blown up if I say something he doesn't like."

"Can we please change the topic."

"Alright so it is decided I will not ask Jirou out."

They all agreed that was the best option.

It had now been a week since the incident where there were stuck together and she had recently found out why Mineta was so mad at Kamanri. Apparently, Tsuyu and Mineta had been dating in secret and Kaminari found out a bladed to Kirishima about it and now all the girls knew. She was still unsure how he felt about her and she was reaching her breaking point she couldn't take not knowing. The UA annual spring BBQ was coming up and she decided that she would ask him there.

At The BBQ

Jirou was looking everywhere for Kaminari she needed to ask him what his true feeling was towards her. She spotted him chatting with Sero and Todorkio.

"Hey Kaminari, can we talk?"

"Sure, what's up Jirou."

"Follow me."

She led him to an area away for the others where they could have privacy.

"Ok look I really like you and I want to be romantic with you but if you don't want to just tell me right now." She held her breath.

Kaminari stared at her in shock "REALLY! That's awesome I was wanting to ask you out on a romantic date but I thought you weren't into the sappy romantic stuff."

"Where did you ever get that idea?"

"Never mind how about tomorrow I take you out for a romantic dinner?"

"Wait … so soon?"

"Of course, Jirou I am crazy about you."

"Why? I am not like the other girls"

"That's why. You are super cool and know how to really have fun, you can play so many instruments you are super talented, not to mention I really dig your fashion sense. There is so many things to like about you."

Jirou was now beet red after being complemented.

"Man, to think I owe Mineta for bringing us closer together." Kaminari said

"We don't need him to bring us closer. I mean if you wanted me too, I wouldn't mind spending the night in your room again." Jirou said looking at the ground.

"Really? I did like spending the night with you even if it was awkward at first at least this time we won't be stuck together."

They decided it was time to go back and join the others.
