Antauri walked into Gibson's lab.
Immediately he saw Nova had her arms around him as she looked over his shoulder. Her tail swung back and forth. Antauri smiled as he walked up to Gibson's workstation. He put the cup down in front of him. He gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you, Antauri," he said before looking up. "Nova, mind if you leave me alone for a while? You're too much of a Supernova for me to focus right now."
"No problem, Nerd." Nova answered sweetly.
Antauri and Nova went to leave Gibson's lab. She stopped walking while Antauri kept going. As he was about to leave, he looked back. Nova blinked a few times with her mouth slightly agape. Her body burst into flames. She just realized what Gibson was calling her a minute prior.
Antauri had to hold back a chuckle seeing their partner like that.
