It was the next day and Jackson was with Optimus, double checking the semi for any injuries he had missed. How are you feeling Optimus? Did I miss anything? Jack asked through their link, as he finished working on Primes diagnostics systems and didn't want the humans hearing them talk.
I am alright Jackson, my diagnostic system seems to be functioning properly. Thank you for repairing me. The Prime replied as Jack nodded. You're Welcome Optimus! Now what are we gonna do about these humans? He asked as he looked out through the window of the cab to see the three humans standing around talking.
We will come to that but listen. Optimus suggested as he turned on his sound systems and the three voices could be heard.
"I don't know Devon, something is definitely wrong with that truck. Kitt said that he saw the kid get inside the semi and heard another voice coming from within the cab." Said the Female.
Jackson sighed, "Scrap!" he whispered, fearing that they had fingered it out. "So, I'll ask again, what do you wanna do?" he whispered thanking Primus that the doors of the cab were shut.
"I'm afraid that we have no choice but to reveal ourselves. It is only a matter of time before they find out, under extreme circumstances." he replied. Jack nodded. The Prime was talking about Megatron and him looking for the human and the Autobot leader. "You sure you wanna do this, Optimus?" he asked, making sure this is what Optimus wanted.
"Yes Jackson, though Agent Fowler might not be too happy about it, but we have no choice." he replied as Jack sighed. "Alright!" he said as he stepped out of the cab, thankfully the humans haven't hear him step out and caught a sentence coming from Mr. Knights mouth. "We need to know what that truck is." He said.
"Why don't you just ask me." Jack cut in startling the group who looked at each other stunned before Devon took a step forward. "Mr. Darby, we didn't see you there." he said as Jack lifted a brow. "You said you wanted to know what my truck is." he replied as the others nodded looking unsure.
Bonnie crossed her arms, "That's right. We also got some questions." she said as Jack turned towards the semi, "Alright Optimus. You're turn." he said as he backed up a little. The three humans were confused until the semi started rearranging itself, metal and gears moving till it formed a giant robot being, stunning the humans, "My God." Devon let out as they backed up a bit.
Optimus Prime looked down at the humans before getting on one knee to their level, "Meet Optimus Prime. Of planet Cybertron" Jack introduced as the mech looked at the kid before turning towards the humans and gave them a nod, "Greetings Mr. Miles, Mrs. Barstow, and Mr. Knight. Of course to Kitt as well." he said looking towards the black car stunning the humans once again.
"How did you…?" Kitt asked but Jack cut him off, "We sensed your presence, from the moment you stopped to help us. We just didn't know what you were." Jack asked as Michael looked at the kid shocked, "What do you mean We?" Michael asked as Jack turned towards Optimus who nodded, giving him permission. "I'm not exactly…how do you say it?" he whispered as he sighed, "A Human. Well not anymore." he told them.
The three looked at each other, "So it was you who turned off Kitts surveillance systems?" Bonnie asked, stunned with a bit of anger. Jack nodded, "I couldn't have him finding out about Optimus and telling you guys. Optimus and the Autobots have to stay secret, just like you guys have to keep Kitt a secret." he answered before Devon nodded. Jack then turned towards Kitt, "and Kitt, I apologize for doing that." he said to the car.
"It's alright Mr. Darby, I understand. Perhaps we can get together and talk, I've never met a human who can do what you did. I'm interested to learn more." he said as the humans chuckled. Jack nodded,"Maybe. We'll see." he said before turning back to the conversation.
But Michael was confused, "Wait! A minute, who are the Autobots you mentioned?" he asked as Jack looked at Optimus who took over. "They are a group of Cybertronians, I am their leader. We have been fighting another group of Cybertronians for over a Millenia on Cybertron before the war ravaged our planet and we had to flee. We found Earth and sought refuge from the Decepticons.`` He explained confusing the humans.
"I'm sorry, Deceoticons?" Bonnie asked as Jack sighed, "The Deepticons are like the Autobots, they're Cybertronians but the only difference is that while the Autobots are defending this planet, the Decepticons are a different story. They're the bad guys. Optimus and the Autobots have been at war with them for a Millenia over their endless supply of Energon on Cybertron. Until they came to earth which also produces Energon." he explained stunning the humans once again.
Michael looked at the others, before turning to look at the alien and the human, "And how did a kid end up in an intergalactic war?" he asked as Jack smiled, "Eh, I found myself in a battle with the Autobots and the Decepticons when I was coming off work." he answered.
"But, me and my other 2 friends, we help the Autobots in their fight in the war, we are their support, tech support, we help them learn about our planet when they're not busy fighting, but more importantly they're our friends." he answered as he looked towards Optimus who gave him a nod before they turned towards the others.
