The 18 years old T-Birds Putzie Jacobs was lying in bed with a fever and a bad cold. Just then he saw the door open and it was his best friend and leader of the T-Birds, Danny Zuko. "Hey bud, how are ya feeling?" Danny asked him.
"Still sick as a dog." Putzie replied.
Putzie started coughing and winced at the sting in his chest.
"Will I ever get better?" Putzie asked.
Danny chuckles.
"You will bud." Danny told him.
"When will that be?" Putzie asked.
Danny chuckles while sitting down on the bed facing his youngest best friend.
"Soon kid." Danny smiled.
Putzie lets out a sigh and looks over at the clock on his nightstand that says, "12:03pm" and he looks over at Danny confused.
"Hey, are you supposed to be in school right now?" Putzie asked him.
"Hey, you're way more important than dumb school." Danny smiled.
The boys laughed.
"Thanks man." Putzie smiled weakly.
"Ehh, anything for my dork." Danny smirked. "Just don't tell my folks or Derek, alright?"
Putzie chuckles at him.
"Your secret is safe with me, brother." Putzie smiled.
"That's my boy!" Danny ginned.
Putzie chuckled, feeling tired, making Danny notice how tired Putzie looked.
"You tired Putz?" Danny asked.
Putzie nods his head making Danny chuckles at him.
"Scoot over Brother." Danny said.
"Brother" was a special nickname that the boys came up with since they were really small and were more like brothers than best friends or members of the T-Birds. Anyway, Putzie scooted over to make room for Danny. Danny sat next to Putzie and put his protective arm around the younger boy as Putzie rested his head on his shoulder comfortably.
"Better?" Danny asked.
Danny felt Putzie nod.
"Mmhmm." Putzie mutters quietly.
Danny, again, chuckled at the innocence in his youngest best friend.
"I'll protect you Babyface," Danny told him. "Love you brother."
Danny kissed his head. He didn't care if they were greasers or boys, he always cared and protected Putzie as he was his baby brother. Putzie was special to Danny and so was the other boys.
