Omake: The Stronger the Light
By Zaru
"DELAWAAAAARE~!"
"DAIITOKUUUUU~"
Two blazing balls of light soared towards the monstrous pale being that posed as a dragon, half of his body submerged in shadow, Moria doing his utmost to keep the shadows inside his monstrous bloated form.
"YOU WILL NOT TAKE ANYTHING MORE AWAY FROM ME! PERISH IN THE DARKNESS!" Moria roared, rearing back a fist as the shadow that had merged with him went to his city-blocked sized fist. And a sword tip began to form. "DARK!"
"DETROOOOOIT!"
"RAIIMEEEEEEEE!"
They blazed forward, one dark with a bright green core, the other blazing white with a dark blue core crackling with electricty as they spun towards Moria, his snarling grin splitting his face.
"GUNGIIIIR!" And he fired, the sword-tip firing like a spearhead towards the two as Moria enhanced it with what Haki he could muster. Now fall!
But the shadow-arrowhead, bigger than even Navy Battleships... was disintigrated as the twin suns blazed through like a hot iron ball through butter, and Moria's face fell as they barreled through.
And the two foes, so much smaller... their eyes aglow as Haki and... whatever that youth had as surrounding them. Binding as their attacks following through.
"SMASH!/HAKKE!"
Right into Moria's skull.

Why...
Why did it have to be this way...
Why was he alone again?
There was naught but darkness around him... An all too familiar comfort.
All he wanted was to never be alone again. He tried to become strong with his friends... and that got him only death...
The loss of his dear friends... his comrades and army...
He doesn't want to be alone again...
Never again... yet he here was...
He shuddered, gasping and sniveling like a child... Some proud pirate he wa-
"Heya Captain!"
Moria perked up. Those voices...
"There you are! We've been waiting for ya!"
He saw them... and Moria felt himself shrink...
"It's... you guys..." The tears of despair turned to tears of joy as he saw them, a smile on his pale features as they rushed towards him.
"We're sorry to have left you alone Captain Moria... we weren't strong enough..."
"Yeah man, sorry for being able to protect ya... some First Mate I am huh?"
"You dolts!" Moria barked, his arms wrapping them into his embrace. "I'm the one who has to apologize! Living... living without you guys was so hard I... I've missed... all of you so... so much! My crew... My friends... My Family!"
"We're all together again Mori-chan... Strapping as ever..."
"you don't have to worry about a thing Cap, I'll make ya that Prodence Delight you love so much too."
"You guys... you guys...!"
And Moria began to weep in joy. At last... at long last...
He was with the ones he loved. He wasn't alone... He never will be alone.

Izuku landed on the ruins of Thriller Bark Castle, panting as he looked at the massive heap of stone and wood that formed the skyscraper-sized Mast of the world's largest ship. Deep within, no doubt, was the corpse of their enemy in the Warlord of the Sea, Gecko Moria.
"Look Izuku, the shadows!" Yamato said, panting as she slowly reverted back to her human form. True enough, through the cracks in the stone blocks and debris, shadow blobs were all going and flying into the sky. "Guess that means Brook will be getting his shadow back huh?"
"Guess so." Izuku mused, looking at the debris. "Yamato, you remember the look on his face? Before we fought?"
"A little. Why?"
"It... It seemed like Moria, despite being a Warlord... he looked scared of you... of us."
"He did say he was going to get revenge against my father by killing me..." She shrugged, Takeru on her shoulder.
"Still... I can't help but, pity him. He used to be your father's rival, only instead he turned into, well, that." Izuku sighed. "Maybe if things were different, maybe he could have been an ally we could use in the fight against Kaido."
"He was a Warlord at the end of the day though. I doubt the Government would be so keen on a Warlord going against an Emperor under any circumstance." Yamato sighed as she felt the warm embrace of day. "I'm flipping beat though!" SHe fell down, lying on her back. "I'm sweaty and sticky and aching. I wanna bath!"
"The castle was destroyed, with it most likely our only source for plumbing and water..."
Yamato groaned. "You better not let me drown if we find a pond ok?"
Izuku sucked in his lips. Not the last time he saw the older woman nude, not like she cared at all, hell she even strolled in on him a few times to bathe whenever he had his chance at whatever warm or cool water source they found.
Using Froppy-Style, a tendril of Black Whip covered his eyes, and he gave a thumbs up. "Of course."
Yamato grinned. "You're the best Izuku. you know that."
The boy blushed, looking away. "Right... it'll be hard trying to find any money in the ruins, and the Government will find out that one of their Warlords has gone, well, missing. So let's wash up and reconvene with Brook, and we'll go from there."
"You got it!" She beamed, rising back up as the two walked together towards the rising sun, their shadows long and dark against the ruins of Thriller Bark Castle.
