The Yakuza of the New World.

by CHBat1King

1 year and 10 months after the events of Marine Ford.

The scent of salt was in the air, especially more so in the Grand Line. This includes locations such as the famous taverns of Rocky Port, where the smell of alcohol and salt hang in the air.

It made Chisaki sick to his stomach. It probably would have made him physically sick if he wasn't wearing his crew's trademarked plague mask. Leaning back on his chair with his water (one that he made sure was boiled before hand) on the table, Chisaki of the Yakuza pirates waited patiently for his client to show up.

The client was late, and the only thing stopping him from killing everyone in the bar was the simple fact that the owners made sure to keep everything clean. Rocky Port was many things, but at least they had the common sense to make things sanitary. Besides, the only people in the bar were his own crew…and he needed the extra manpower in case things go south. After all, one must be prepared for when they deal with an Emperor's crew.

Speak of the devil, and they shall appear. The tavern doors open, causing Chisaki and the rest of his crew to look up and see their client. Their old "colleague" in the form of "Gang" Bege.

"You're late." Chisaki spoke with only a hint of annoyance. "Usually you're far more punctual than this. Has becoming a dog for an Emperor gives the thought in your head that you're superior to the rest of us?"

Capone "Gang" Bege smirked as he pulled a chair and sat opposite of Chisaki, pulling a lighter for his cigar. "I was always superior to you birdbrains. Maybe that will change when your bounty goes above 200 million, "Overhaul." No, I just had some important business to handle this morning that took up most of my time this morning."

"And that would have been?"

"My wife, Chiffon, gave birth the other night to my son. Naturally, instead of spending time with my family I had to deal with the extended family about my new "duties" and how My son and Chiffon were the "true" members of the family.

Chisaki hid his annoyance. "So the Big Mom pirates arranged marriage thing was true after all. Can't help but wonder how she feels about your habit of putting horse heads in your superior's beds considering they are all her siblings."

"That depends on the sibling." Bege then pulled a lighter for his cigar. "Some of them are bad beyond comprehension, could use a little bit of humbling."

Bege then started to light his cigar. Chisaki was having none of that.

"Don't smoke in front of me, it's disgusting."

Bege smirked. "Says the Alchemy Human whose power usually amounts to turning people into bloody chunks if you don't reassemble them right away after."

Bege opened a door on his chest to reveal a small man on the edge of it, handing him the unlit cigar before closing his chest. Chisaki kept his mouth shut. He had always hated Bege's ability during their meetings back in the West Blue. The thought of other people inside of you was…abhorrent.

"Anyway, I have to ask Chisaki. What is all of this about? We haven't spoken in close to 2 years after I tried to kill your boss back in the West Blue. Then all of a sudden I get a tip from Stussy at Big mom's latest tea party saying that you wanted to meet with me. You're lucky I have built enough good will under Big Mom that I can go outside the territory for "business trips."

Bege then leaned closer to Chisaki. Doors opened in various parts of his chest revealing men armed with assortments of guns pointing at the Yakuza. Chisaki didn't flinch, he simply placed all five of his fingers on the table.

"Are you here to kill me? I did leave your boss in pretty bad shape before I left for the Grand Line. Last time I checked, your little band of outsiders is the only family from the West left. The other Don families died trying to kill me. I should know, I killed Falcone myself a few months ago."

"You didn't kill my boss, so I am not here to kill you." Chisaki replied

"But your boss is dead though." Bege leaned back on his chair. "Don't really know how that happened. Falcone wasn't exactly keen on the details before I tied him up and threw him into the sea. My condolences, truly. Your group may have outsiders from the West, but he, his wife, and his daughter were people I liked."

Chisaki glared, anger slightly flaring at the mention of his former boss's wife. "Yet you tried to kill him"

"Only to see the rest of you run like chickens with your head cut off. How did he and his wife die anyway? How is Eri?"

"They died because of disgusting charcoal, and I have adopted Eri. She made me head of the Shie Hassaiki and is currently learning the art of distribution."

Bege didn't have a reply to that. He knew there was more to the charcoal statement then Chisaki was telling him. His mind then wandered onto the child. Poor Eri, he honestly liked the girl, and he couldn't imagine that being under Chisaki "The Overhaul' ' thumb was a pleasant experience. Oh well, not his problem.

"Anyway." Bege changed the subject. "Tell me why you wanted this meeting."

Chisaki made a motion to his men, a big man in a plague mask Bege recognised as Rappa came over and placed down a suitcase on the table.

"I know how you work, Bege, you get into good graces with others and then kill the leader. You were planning on killing Big Mom from the start. Despite my personal hatred for you, we both have a common goal that we can achieve by working together." Chisaki said.

Bege was interested. Chisaki was never one to work with others, he was usually the attack dog for their gang, whether it was warranted or not. Despite that, Chisaki's statement of a "common goal" was not to be ignored.

"You want to kill Big Mom, Chisaki?"

"No, I could care less about her. I want to kill Kaido."

"That's a pretty big task, and what exactly do I have that will help you with that?"

"Connections, when you kill Big Mom I need you to spread the world that you did it because of the product I will give you. Once you do that, I will have the underworld begging to work with me, and once I build up enough capital for an army, I will head to Wano and kill Kaido."

Bege raised an eyebrow. "That's quite the ambition you have. Of course such a thing could only happen if your "product" is worth my time. Not to mention that even if you do give me it, there is nothing stopping me from giving myself all the credit and leaving you in the dust."

Bege stood up from his chair and walked away.

"I already have a plan on taking out Big Mom, not to mention that I am not a fan of essentially being the spokesperson for your "product."

"I can tell you what the Road Poneglyph says."

Bege stopped. Turning around towards the Yakuza with eyes widened.

"Y-your shitting me" Bege stated in disbelief.

"I have the means of deciphering Poneglyphs. After all, I am from the clan in Wano that made them in the first place." Chisaki stated.

Bege sat back down.

"So you're telling me that the Shie Hassaikai, one of the great crime families of the West Blue, came all the way from the New World?"

"Yes." said Chisaki. "20 years ago my boss's father went to engage Kaido who invaded our nation in retaliation for killing his wife. Before he left, he used his connections to get his son and a small band out of the country. I was among those people along with the girl that would later become his wife."

Chisaki leaned down towards the briefcase on the table and opened it. "The great leader of the Yakuza Hyogoro is still alive thanks to the vivre card he gave his son during that time. This product I will show you will allow both of us to achieve our goals. Do your part, and I will decipher the meanings of both Poneglyphs held by Big Mom and Kaido."

Chisaki turned the briefcase around to show Bege what was inside.

Bege looked incredulous. "These are just weirdly shaped bullets. Not sure if you have ever heard, but Big Mom is basically bullet proof"

The bullets in question weren't of the common variety he and others used. Chisaki's bullets on the other hand were more pointed followed by a long cylinder at the end.

Chisaki was undeterred. "These bullets will do the job, all you need to figure out is how to pierce Big Mom. Perhaps shooting her mouth while she is stuffing herself."

Bege continued to look at the bullets. "What do they do?"

"They rewrite time."

"Excuse me!?"

"These bullets contain the modified blood from someone who has eaten the revert-revert fruit. Anything struck by these bullets will revert to a previous form depending on the round and dose. At high enough doses these bullets will revert whatever they hit into nonexistence. Each cylinder contains this blood and when it pierces something the reversion will take effect."

Chisaki then took out a gun and loaded a couple of the bullets in it, one that looked quite different from the standard flintlock.

"Kurono, bring out the test subjects."

The man who was currently wearing a white trenchcoat and the signature plague mask nodded and went into the other room.

Bege looked at Chisaki. "Didn't know your crew had a scientist of that caliber on board if these things do as you say they do. Bit of a step up from the usual opium deals isn't it?"

Chisaki didn't answer as he turned towards Kurono bringing in the test subjects. The first one was a man of regular height wearing a bag over his head. The second one Bege recognized. A rookie pirate by the name of "Fatal Attraction" Magne with a bounty of 150 million. Magne was much worse than the other man, suggesting that they came in via force.

Chisaki pointed the gun at Magne "This first bullet is among the lower doses."

BANG.

The bullet hit the leg of Magne causing a scream of pain from the pirate. Then to Bege's horror, the effect started taking place. Starting from the leg wound and outward, the flesh was outright vanishing. The leg continued to vanish until Magne's entire leg seemed to disappear from existence. There wasn't even a speck of blood on the floor.

Naturally this caused Magne to scream until she was knocked out by Rappa.

Chisaki pointed the gun at the man under the bag. "This is what happens when you hit someone with a higher dose."

Chisaki fired at the man in the chest. The effect was near instantaneous compared to Magne. Whereas the lower dose only seemed to take out a specific body part, the poor man could only scream for a second as his whole body seemingly vanished before everyone's eyes.

Bege stared wide eyed at everything that had transpired. "I-I-I think I will purchase a case and agree to your conditions. Do you have any bullets of a strong enough calibur to make a Yonko vanish like that?"

"Yes, we have a bazooka and canon version of this for more high profile targets. My crewmake Irinaka will talk to you about the price."

Later that evening.

The deal was made without a hitch. Bege talked about how he had an idea of striking Big Mom while she was vulnerable at the next tea party. From there Bege will make his escape and meet up with Chisaki on the borders of Totland. From there they will use their new found fame to sell more bullets and raise an army strong enough to fight against Kaido.

Chisaki was sitting in his chair on the ship in his captain quarters when he opened a drawer revealing a Den Den Mushi. Dialing the number Overhaul simply waited for the other line to answer. The call was answered as the snail changed his face to resemble the other line.

"Shurorororo. I suspect that the business deal went well with Bege."

"It was Caesar, we are going to need more products soon. Whether Bege succeeds or not is of no consequence, either way we will need more bullets for the coming months."

"Oh I surely agree." The man now identified as Caesar said happily. "Might I say that your "daughter has been a tremendous patient. Her ability has been just so wonderful in my experiments. Not to mention that she has reacted so well to my "candy." Why she is actually almost as tall as you now."

Chisaki did not flinch at this news. "Make her bigger, the more blood she has the more bullets can be created. Send word to Joker about the news as well, I know that he has been itching for a way to kill Kaido for a while now as well."

"I have already informed him, and he is just giddy over what you have. I already have more money than god and soon so will you as well." Said Caesar.

"Good, I will talk to you later Caesar."

Chisaki hung up his Den Den Mushi and stared outside the window in his cabin. His thoughts roamed over the last 28 years of his life. How he started as a member within the Kozuki clan to being adopted by Hyogoro after his parents death. He remembered the days Kaido and the snake Orochi would ravage Wano, particularly the day when Kaido showed up at the estate and killed the boss's wife.

He remembered that despite his pleas, Hyogoro packed him on the ship with other members of the Yakuza on a secret trip out of the country while he stood back and fought alongside his elder sons. He remembered being forced to paddle through the Calm Belt, every day losing strong members fighting Sea Kings until they managed to reach what is called the West Blue.

He remembered pledging his loyalty to Hyogoro's son as they set up a new life. How they built a new Yakuza using the ideals of Hyogoro. He remembered eating a devil fruit in order to better serve his master. His memories however started to cause him to grimace.

He remembered how he convinced a surviving member to plead her love to the boss, he remembered that he served as the best man to their wedding, how he stood guard as Eri was born.

Chisaki's heart grew colder. He remembered the betrayal he felt when he overheard the master's wife that she was from the Kurozumi clan. How she fled to the Yakuza to escape the mob that killed her family. He remembered the sheer rage he felt when his master accepted her regardless of this information. He remembered the despair everyone felt when Eri just after eating a devil fruit used her power to revert them out of existence.

He wanted to kill her. He wanted to murder that little brat so much. The only reason he didn't was because some of the older guards, despite what happened, stood by her simply because she was still the master's daughter. So he killed them and took over. It was then that he had an idea. The little brats' power could be of use, so he set his opium chemists upon her to see what they could do with her with him using his ability to extract the needed materials. The effects were overall minimal, what doses they could use from her blood could only do so much.

Then they set off in search of anyone who could make use of her abilities. It was then they found a way to contact Ceasar and by extension Joker. They were able to make use of her blood quite well. Though not without some trouble, as apparently the process to extract her devil fruit power was quite painful. Chisaki was quite fine with that.

Chisaki silently fumed. Kurozumi Eri the child of death. Kurozumi Eri the child of coal. The living embodiment of the disease that ruined his life and his homeland. Now, he had the means of fighting back. Of taking back Wano, freeing Hyogoro and placing the Yakuza back in charge.

"Make no mistake." Chisaki said alone in his room.

"The Kurozumi were born to burn."
