CH. 1: Ready
Everyone in Amity Park knew of Danny Phantom. He was a teen hero who had extraordinary powers. Some of them were unspeakable, because they were so good. He was always hunted down by ghosts and humans alike. Now he is being hunted by his own past.
Including his own parents. Maddie and Jack Fenton, who take joy and pride in what they do. They hunt other ghosts and they try to see what hides in their little ghostly bodies. But they have tried to hunt Danny once.
It was when he told them he had ghost powers. They took one good look at him, and tried to chase him around the house, they even said it wouldn't hurt. As long as he comes and does it.
But there have been many cases of ghost attacks around Amity Park, for the past few weeks. Some of which are not fathomable.
Like his high school. Casper High. That has been caught by ghosts for almost two weeks, and Danny Phantom has been able to help them all. But all of a sudden, now he is thinking he's not-so-sure he wants to be Phantom anymore.
He thinks he should be another ghost name, he wants to have something cool, and something catchy.
Something catchy like Vlad, Vlad Plasmius. But he can't steal his own enemies name, that would make Vlad mad. Everything seemed to be getting better in its own time. But Danny…Not so much.
"Mom? Dad? Can I talk to you?" He asked as he walked into the room his parents were in. His eyes flinched and twitched, he couldn't believe he was about to do this.
"What's wrong, is there a ghost in the house?" Jack asked, looking around. "That's good! Now I can use the Booomerang again!"
"Dad. This is serious." Danny said. He didn't want his parents joking around with him, he wanted them to understand.
"Sorry, Danny, seriously…What's wrong?"
"Mom, Dad? I need to tell you something. Do you know about Danny Phantom?" His question was obvious.
"Yes, why?"
"Because I am Danny Phantom. I Danny Fenton, is also Danny Phantom, that's it. Hate me all you want."
His parents were shocked, how did they not find this out sooner? Instead of grounding him for a long time. They hugged him and made him feel good, Jazz suddenly came downstairs and saw the family hug.
"Aww. Can I come in?" Jazz asked.
"Sure, sweetie."
"Thanks mom, thanks dad." Both Danny and Jazz said at the same time, Maddie and Jack hugged and cried as their two children gave them lots of hugs.
