CH. 3: Saving the Ghost Zone Part 2
Danny found himself in the Ghost Zone pretty quickly, he saw a bunch of ghosts having a meeting about something. He noticed Clockwork was leading the meeting. But when he saw Danny, he stopped, which made most of the other ghosts mad. So they wanted to see what made this meeting stop.
They turned around and saw Danny with two ecto-blasts in his hands, "ready to fight losers? You know I am.." He said, he put his fists up and the ghosts screamed in anticipation. The feeling of power and fury came into Danny's mind and he started yelling.
He didn't want to deal with any of this crap anymore. He just started fighting and fighting, Clockwork was there to help him, but he didn't need any help. As he said before, he is saving the ghost zone. Which is one of the goals.
He needs to gain power so that he can win this battle, his power is slowly draining so he needs more.
His eyes are droopy and he looks like he is about to pass out. A nearby ghost ends up helping him with that, he gives him some energy by pressing his hand out gently on Danny's hand. It didn't hurt, it just made a small spark.
"Thanks! Can you help me here?" Danny asked, the ghost was shocked. "With what my child?" Danny motioned to the fight going on. He knew he was going to win, but not without any help.
"Of course, I am Gaar. I am one of the Ghost Zone's greatest hunters. I come from deep under the surface."
"Cool."
"You want me to show you?"
"No thanks."
But Danny could feel himself looking like he was gonna cry, he didn't know why but the feeling of fear kept on coming over him. He didn't want to cry and he didn't want to lose his friends/family. No one ever said that the Ghost Zone would turn into a death trap.
And no one said it would become a DOOM trap as well. Danny was stuck, until he saw a vehicle come to his aid. It was the Specter Speeder. It was flying at broad speed, which meant Danny had to stop.
He was shocked to see who was in it: His friends, Sam Manson, and Tucker Foley. Both of them looked happy to see him as well.
"Danny! Is this where you have been?" Sam asked, she was half mad but also half excited, same with Tucker. "Yeah, I kind of got carried away. Sorry guys."
"It's alright. Now let's finish these creeps!"
When the ghosts heard Tucker and Sam, they started to go for them. He held his arm out and allowed them to lunge on the floor. He was not in the mood to have his own best friends captured by some gost creeps.
As Danny lowered himself into the area, he noticed Sam seemed a bit upset and worried. She didn't want him to die, and she didn't want anything bad to happen…Danny turned around and noticed Sam's tearful look. "Please don't go," she said.
"Sam. I have to, do you want the Ghost Zone gone?" He asked madly.
"I'd rather have no portal, than have no you," Sam was being completely honest with Danny right now.
"But Sam…I…"
"You, what?"
"I—I love you."
"Really?"
"Yes, you know I do."
"Danny, look at me, we will both get through this together. Even if you don't come back, all that matters is that we tried. Ok?"
"Right, I know." He looked over and saw Tucker sniffing, "yeah man, what Sam said. We will be with you, alive or not."
"Don't worry guys, I'll be back."
"Hopefully."
Danny gave them a small wave before going back to finish the battle, the rest of it had been set up in the center of the Ghost Zone. Many ghosts were watching and cheering Danny and the other ghosts on.
Spectra was there watching everything go down. She wanted to watch Danny get hit and be miserable. She loved it when her pupils were miserable, she looked at herself in the mirror and noticed she had some makeup on.
She took it off and went back to the fight, where she saw Kitty, Ember, and everyone else. She took a seat and watched.
"What's happening?"
"The ghost kid is winning, I think we might lose."
"What!?"
"I know. I was yelling at Skulker to make a better move."
"Damn boys."
"Exactly…Exactly."
While Danny was fighting Skulker, he ended up hitting a nearby rock and hit his head. He looked around and noticed some of the ghosts were surrounding him, trying to make him feel better.
Danny thought about himself for a little while, did he just lose? He looked at himself in a mirror and thought about his future.
"Why does this always happen to me."
Meanwhile, with Sam and Tucker. They are both still waiting for Danny to come back. Sam is almost in tears, while Tucker is half way there. He has been crying all day, he doesn't want to lose his best friend, and Sam doesn't want to lose her boyfriend. If he dies. She will not be able to tell him.
That's when she bursted into tears and started snuggling into Tucker's chest, the techno geek was liking the attention. "Shhh, it's okay Sam, it's okay…" He said.
Suddenly, a green flash of light came. It was Danny. He was back, but he did look a bit beaten up.
"Sorry guys, didn't mean to scare you."
"Scare me, scare me? You had me crying!"
"Sorry Sam."
"Me too, dude."
"Well. It's over."
"I am so glad."
"I know, you wanna hit up Nasty Burger again?"
"Sure."
"Come on guys, let's go."
"Yay!"
