When I woke up, Blanc and Jessie were still cuddling with me. They both awoke, and a few sleepy greetings were exchanged. But the door opened. "Hey, Blanc? I'm here to ask about…" Vert froze and dropped her tea. I look at the two girls curled up with me. Blanc sighed. "Y-Y-You three… doing such vulgar things… this early?"
"It's not what it looks like.." Blanc was ready to defend her name, but Jessie sighed. "We're kinda busy here. Could you pass us some Viagra from the desk over there so me and Kenji can get a little wicked?" My eyes widened. Vert pulled out a camera as she tossed the Viagra to Jessie. "You go, girl."
"Delete that footage." I stirred the pot of soup as the girls giggled at the table. Vert smiled. "I'm not posting it to the Internet. It's just a fine addition to my collection." She tucked the SD card into her pocket. Blanc sighed. "I'll admit, I definitely enjoyed watching that performance. Well Kenji, at least you know how to treat a lady." More giggles. "Believe me, this is all a national secret. Plus, I'm pretty sure Blanc was on board after I busted out the gin. You're lucky we didn't join in. I was about to."
I served the mission soup to the girls as I kept chatting with them. "Well, it wasn't like we were releasing a beast. You were just laying there and letting her crawl an you." I sighed. "It's because I don't really enjoy sex. I only take the Viagra because Jessie likes it." Vert shrugged. "Fair. At least you're willing to fulfill her wishes." I look towards the bedroom. Jessie was fast asleep. "That girl tired herself out while making you squeal like a 5th grade sissy." Blanc's teasing came back to bite me in the butt.
"Look, I'm no perv. But I wanted to take a break from work for a little bit, and I was in the mood to watch you get owned. Plus, if you can't do something as simple as giving your wife a good time, how can I expect you to kick my ass?" Blanc giggled. "If you still got energy, how about some more sparring?" I nod. "Yeah." Vert got up. "Yeah. Let's do some sparring."
We were back in the forest. Now, it was axe versus katana… versus spear. The three of us clashed, and the sounds of our weapons clashing filled the air. We all backed off for a bit. "Good. You're improving." Vert chuckled. "I'm impressed. He's got drive. You gonna whip him into shape, Blanny?" Blanc nodded. "You already know." Our weapons clashed again and again. We sparred until noon, and then Blanc powered down. "Alright, that's enough for now. You learn fast."
Vert powered down as well. "Now that's some skill." Then a smile appeared on her face. "How about we do some dungeon crawling?" Blanc grinned. "With you? Hell yeah." They both took off. "Hey! Wait up!"
My complaint was met with the girl's sharp retorts.
"You have legs, you sissy. Keep up!"
"You can just cope and keep up."
I sped up to keep pace with the two goddesses as we went to the cave dungeon. We all entered. The cave was massive, and it felt nice. "This cave popped up a few days ago. One of the mountains caved in, and this is what appeared." Blanc looked at the walls of the cave. "Yeah, this land was definitely carved out by the water."
We all walked through the cave. But I felt a strange energy that flowed around me like water. Both Blanc and Vert tensed up. "Keep your blade close, Kenji." Vert drew her weapon and slowed her pace. Her gaze scanned the cave thoughrally as she looked for enemies..
"This feeling… I haven't felt it in years… don't tell me…" Blanc's face was twisted with both fear and rage. "DOWN!" I hit the floor as Vert yelled and hurled a spear into the darkness of the cave. Her spear, glowing green, emerged back out of the darkness. "Is that any way of saying hello to an old friend?" There, standing in the cave's natural light, was Arfoire, the Deity of Sin.
I drew my katana. "So you brought a friend with you?" Arfoire cackled. "Funny." She glowed with dark energy. I surged forward to strike her. She cackled as she launched a kick. I retaliated by slamming my heel upon her head. She backed off. "You actually countered one of my attacks. Impressive. But don't get cocky. Because I'm going to show you and your friends true despair." Arfoire reaches out her fingers, but I sheathed my blade and jumped close. She gasped. "What the-" With a flash of flame, I poured my spirit into my sword as my blade shot out and sliced off Arfoire's outstretched arm.
"I won't let you do that to us." My voice was firm. "I am going to avenge my father." Arfoire smirked, then… vanished. I blinked as I looked around for the villain. But she was nowhere to be seen. Then a roar ripped through the cave. Blanc grabbed me as she transformed and took flight. "We gotta go." Vert followed behind, but as we flew, a huge crash echoed behind us. "Keep flying! The cave is collapsing!"
"No! It's not collapsing! There's a dragon coming after us!" Vert corrected me quickly as we flew out of the cave. The dragon burst out of the cave, and gave a mighty roar. Vert used her spear to fend off the dragon, but she was moving slowly. "Urrgh… why does it feel like my powers are being suppressed?" Vert was bashed aside by the dragon, and she cried out.
I drew my bow and fired at the dragon. It recoiled as it charged full speed at me. "What the hell is up with this dragon?" I kept shooting it with arrows as I tried to keep my distance. But it's mouth opened, and a column of plasma shot out of it's mouth. I dodged out of the way as Blanc blocked the beam with an energy shield. "It's suppressing my power… urrgh… I feel weak…" Blanc stumbled a bit.
I looked towards the dragon as I tried to think of a solution. The dragon came down hard on me and Blanc, and I brung my blade down on the beast… but the sword could not pierce it's flesh. The beast bit my leg as I hit the beast again and again, looking for a weak spot. I backed up as I limped. Then the beast opened its jaws to deliver the killing blow, then I saw and grabbed Vert's spear, ramming it right through the roof of it's mouth and into it's skull.
The beast roared in agony as I pulled the spear out, and blood dripped down the weapon. The beast crashed to the ground, devoid of life. Blanc got up. "Urrgh… damn…" Vert didn't get up. I ran over to her to help her up. But my body went limp and I hit the ground. Everything went black…
"Dog… Dogoo!" I felt really… slimy. I awoke to a Dogoo licking my cheek. I pushed the slimy creatures away as I looked for Blanc and Vert.
"Ew! Get the hell off me!" Blanc was struggling with a Dogoo, and Vert was still unconscious. I helped Blanc and woke up Vert. They both were confused. "Uurgh… what happened?"
"Vert! Blanc! Where are you guys?" Nepgear's voice rose above the chirps of the birds. But then, her scream split the air. I ran towards the sound as I drew my blade once more. When I reached the site, Arfoire's hand was tight around Nepgear's throat. I quickly threw my spear at Arfoire, but she knocked it aside. But she let go of Nepgear, and I swiftly sliced off Arfoire's head with one motion.
Nepgear hit the ground as Arfoire's blood sprayed into the air. She hit the ground. Nepgear shrieked and kicked away Arfoire's corpse. I looked towards my fallen foe. That's not right. How was that so easy? But Blanc and Vert reached me before I could figure it out. Then, Arfoire's body vanished. "I was expecting more of a fight." Blanc looked bored.
"Seriously? Arfoire comes back from the dead to just die by some random kid's blade. Laaame." Black Heart's voice was filled with annoyance. "To be fair, that's what you get for skipping out on sleep." Purple Heart's voice rings behind Noire, and Neptune chuckled. "Who's this guy?" I was picked up by the back of my shirt by Purple Heart. She examined me like I was just some toy. Noire sighed. "That's some Guild member who beat Blanc in a duel. He's probably full of himself."
Neptune sighed. "Maybe. But let's give the boy a chance." Neptune smirked as she pressed me up against a tree. "So, you beat Blanc. Impressive." Her breasts squished against me as I looked at her, unimpressed. "I have a wife." She smirked. "I don't remember asking."
"If you don't let me go, I'll report you for sexual harassment."
"You're no fun…" She let me go. "Weird. It's almost like my boobs are a turn off to him." Noire sighed. "Is he gay or something?" I corrected her. "I'm asexual." She shrugged. "Whatever." We stared at each other.
Noire swung her blade at me. I blocked it and jumped. "Hey! What's the big idea?" Neptune chuckled. "We're your opponents right now. Fight us!" I blocked their blows. But both of them outclassed me, so I backed off to let Blanc and Vert clash with them. But they didn't move.
"Really? This is your fight."
"Wuss."
I sighed and clashed with the two sword masters. But they were too much to handle. My blade was knocked out of my hand and I was knocked to the ground. "Great… teamwork." Neptune grinned. "I see now… you deny your weapon it's purpose!" I chuckled. "You really just came here to kick my butt?" Neptune chuckles. "Yes and no. We came to fight someone, and we took the chance to humble you." I sighed. "That includes you guys kicking me in the nuts?"
"Yes." All four goddesses answered my question unanimously. I looked up, trying to catch my breath. Neptune sighed. "Get up. I'm not done with you." She pulled me up. "Come on. You need to grow a pair. This mission is crucial to the survival of Gamindustri. If you're not able to even stand toe to toe with Neptune, you don't stand a chance." Blanc's words stirred my soul. Neptune smirked, but my blade clashed with hers once more.
She tried to counter, but I kicked her square in the face. She chuckled. "He's mine." She transforms again…
"Neptune, you're pulling out the NEXT form?!" Noire's voice was filled with excitement. "Alright, I wanna see this."
Neptune smiles as her armaments formed a cone behind her back. "Like I said… Kids are cruel, Kenji. And I'm very in touch with my inner child!" She pulled out her sword. "Don't think you'll break my defense, boy!" I lunged forward. Neptune sighed. "What did I just say?"
But I was ready for her. The times before, I underestimated the CPUs and got my ass kicked. But this time was different. I wasn't gonna let Neptune beat me. I was planning on humbling her.
She swung hard at me. I attempted to deflect the blade, but the blade was not deflected, instead it cut into my blade, forcing me to dodge out of the way. Neptune looked back at me. "That's my signature move. Dimensional Slash. I put my energy behind my blade so it cannot falter from it's swing. It'll cut through anything. You're a fool if you think you can deflect it."
She swung at me again. But I decided to swing at her, aiming for her neck. She quickly moved her blade to block mine, but I could deflect the strike. She looked at me with a little fear on her face. "You could have killed me, you idiot!" I chuckled. "So that's your Achilles heel." She paused. "What are you talking about?" I sighed. "It seems like if you use Dimensional Slash, but have to change the direction of the blow to block mid-strike, the attack loses it's momentum and becomes weak." Neptune's eyes widened.
I smirked. "Based on your reaction, my guess is correct." The other CPUs talked amongst themselves.
"Now that he mentions it, back in Celestia, I couldn't see Neptune use her attack when we ganged up on her." Noire scratched her chin.
"Yeah, that always bothered me. Perhaps Neptune has a weakness after all!" Blanc smirked. "And she always says she's the protagonist."
"Neptune is so silly." Vert chuckled, but Blanc got angry. "Hey! You're groping yourself on purpose! Stop making fun of me!"
Me and Neptune kept clashing. She playfullt growled. "Don't get cocky, boy. You still have the disadvantage." I smiled. "Why don't you quit wasting Share energy and start using your processor to search Gamindustri for who asked?"
Neptune chuckled as she sped up her attacks. But I kept her on the defensive by striking around her Dimensional Slashes, so she kept having to cancel her strikes to block me. She was tiring herself out. Soon I landed a solid punch on Neptune's face to end the duel.
She hit the ground hard. I sheathed my blade and bowed. "The duel has been completed." I look up at the other CPUs. "And I have won."
I was quickly critiqued by the other CPUs.
"Good form. But your breathing needs work. You looked like you were gonna pass out half the time." Blanc was quick to break the silence.
"I'd say that as well. You looked worn out. Your form is good, but it needs a little work."
Vert's critique was on point.
"You need to take better care of your blade. You nearly broke it mid-fight." Noire wanted to make sure I was on the same page as her about Neptune cutting into my blade.
Neptune finally got back up. She powered down to her human form… and she was still an inch taller than me. I brushed the annoyance aside. Neptune looked at me. "By the way… if you break your blade, I'll have to break every bone in your body. So take care of it, K?" I shivered. "Yes… ma'am."
We were quick to leave the forest. But Blanc wanted to get the reward for the dragon, so she tried to drag it's corpse to the Basilicom to claim the prize. I stopped her. "There are kids in Lowee. Let's just take a picture and be done with it." Blanc shook her head. "Nope! We gotta show the people the corpse of their tormentor." I sighed. "Can you at least just take the head?"
She sighed and obliged. "You're no fun." She decapitated the corpse and carried the head. I noticed that the dragon's skin had softened, and it's scales crumbled at my touch. Do I dare…?
"What are you doing?!" Blanc looked back at me.
"Don't eat that, you don't know where it's been!" Vert pulled me away from the corpse.
"Why are you eating its scales, you weirdo?"
Noire looked at me, with genuine concern on her face. But I kinda liked the taste. Neptune looked at me as I made a declaration;
"I've come up with a new recipe!"
