Carter's Pov
He actually Bit him.
"Oh my fuckin god! Ryan!" Travis yelled running over to Evan grabbing his shirt collar, i was just frozen in place. "Carter! Help!" I heard muffled but still loudly, it was Dylan. I dropped my backpack grabbing out my baseball bat, Evan needs to just sleep a little.
"Carter what the fuck are you doing" Travis yelled holding Evan back as He snapped at Travis pushing him against the lockers. THUD.
"Hold him still. Hold him still!" I yelled and ran over swinging the bat at Evan, sticking him across the neck. Evan dropped. "Holy fuck Holy fuck this is NOT happening." Melody said quietly, i turned back to see her clunching Ryans neck.
"Oh my god Dylan go get Mrs.Fellow! We need a Nurse." Travis yelled, i turned to see Forest sitting there on the floor in a ball, crying. "Forest we cant cry now we need to get Ryan help." I heard Dylan say as She ran over to Forest helping him to his feet. I turned back to see Travis standing over Evan. "Hes... hes still going— he should be knocked out from t-the pain." I walked over slowly, shaking with my bat in my hand.
Evan was on the floor, still snapping at Travis, "why isnt— Evan are you okay? Im so sorry." I said kneeling next to Travis. I could hear in the distance people yelling and footsteps growing closer. "D-do you think thats Mrs.Fellow?" I heard Melody saying from behind us, she sounded shaky i mean how cant you.
Suddenly i could make out someones voice, "Run." Is all i could hear over the screams of people and the groans and growling sounds started to become deafening. Run?
I stood there and then back at Evan, be was still trying to move. "What do we do?" I heard and looked up to see Travis. His Eyes were a bright blue tearing up and shaking, Hes never scared.
"W-we cant leave Evan here." I hear Melody say softly. "But He attacked me!" Forest yell loudly. "Yes, and he attacked as well but howeve- whatever is coming our way doesn't sound very good... FOR US or for him. We cant just leave him." Travis said walking over to Forest. Forest nodded and sniffled softly. "Okay lets get him up and Mel please grab Ryan."
I slid my hands under Evan's torso and looked at Travis, "Got it? ready? Three, Two, One" We lifted Evan up, His Snarls and Groans ringing in my ear as we did so.
"Drop him." I heard someone say, i looked over to see Mrs.Fellow standing there, She had blood on her hands and behind her stood Dylan shaking and tears in her eyes. Me and Travis let Evan go. THUD.
"W-wha— what happened? Wheres..." Melody said getting to her feet, she slowly walked over to Mrs.Fellow. "theyre gone." Dylan said quietly, she was shaking. Travis looked at Ryan still laying on the ground, "Mrs.Fellow We need him." Mrs.Fellow ran over to Ryan, looking at him, and then back at us. "I-im sorry." She muttered as she got up and looked at us.
"Fucking run!" I heard this time much closer, i turned behind us to see a girl with red hair running towards us seemingly running away from som—
"We have to go, now Carter." I snapped back to reality and looked at Travis now holding my hand. "We have to go Carter." He repeated squeezing my hand, i looked at Ryan and Evan laying on the floor and then down at my shoes now soaked in blood. Their blood.
In a moments notice Travis started pulling me just as the red haired girl ran by us, i could feel my feet slipping as we ran. I looked behind us to see about ten people running towards our direction.
I know why she was running now, she was running for her life.
And now so are we.
"Oh fuck oh fucking god" i heard turning back to see my teacher holding Dylan's hand, we were running. I held Travis' hand tightly and picked up my speed, i was now in the lead and i could see the exit. Freedom, just like i wanted.
As i made it to the door i let go of Travis' hand pushing against the door, it wouldnt budge. "Fuck its budged" I said frantically. Dylan and Travis started Pushing as I grabbed my bat again, readying my feet to fight.
"Its okay Forest We'll get through this, its okay" i heard and turned to see Melody and Forest and Mrs.Fellow standing there with Forest crying. I put my bat back in my bag and went over to help Travis and Dylan push the doors.
They burst open and all three of us landed face first into the sidewalk outside. My vision began to blur and i made myself stand up, the world spinning around me. Suddenly i felt a hand grab mine, i turned to see a blurred person pulling me roughly as all i can do was follow.
"Carter stay with us, they're right behind us." A muffled Travis' voice was yelling. I looked back to see the red hair girl running with Dylan hand and hand, i blinked my eyes and squinted and saw them. "Oh fuck." I said outloud running with Travis hand in mine.
