Weird Edward Cullen interactions continued throughout the week. He sat at the desk behind me in English, giving me a pen when I asked Mike if I could borrow one. I reluctantly agreed because no one else had one.

Edward Cullen gave me a glove I dropped in the parking lot.

I even saw him walking around downtown when I went Halloween shopping with my dad.

I texted Amelia about how weird he was being. She suggested he might be interested in me. Vomit.

Jessie also noticed that Edward Cullen was hanging around at lunch more. He had decided to make up for his past bad behaviour by becoming the creepiest piece of trash in Forks.

On a rare sunny day, I was sitting outside at a bench. Angela was sitting beside me. We had been talking about Charmed, but of course Edward Cullen had to interrupt us.

"Bella?"

I groaned. "Edward?"

"Can we talk?"

Angela looked at Edward Cullen and seemed spooked. She got her things, said she would see me in class, and was gone. I am not sure what was going on, but the creepy feeling intensified.

I gave him a hard look. "What do you want?"

"To talk, and apologize," Edward said.

I looked at him for the first time, up close, and it was weird. His skin seemed like it was made of moving pieces, almost like glittering white oil on water. The closer he got to me, the more the panic in the back of my throat tightened. He was... dangerous. I felt my limbs move on their own. I stood up, gathered my things, and stepped away from him. Every time he tried to speak to me, I took a small shuffle backwards, away from him.

"Are you wearing glitter?" I asked.

"No. Why do you-Is everything okay?" he seemed concerned. But the face didn't match the words. His face didn't change.

"I just need you to give me space," I said. I fumbled the words. "I feel ill."

"I just wanted to say I was sorry," Edward said. "But uh, I will leave you alone. Sorry."

Then he power walked away again, head down.

"Weirdo."

I got up and went to look for Angela.

I felt dizzy. I wondered if she felt it too.

He made me sick.
