Chapter 2 The Jedi
Its been a week since Sean was found on the crashed ship and since his unknown power was revealed.
Since then the White Lotus has tried to unlock the other pods inside the ship but to no avail.
Mostly because it was too advanced for them to understand.
Right now though
Sean was chasing Korra through the snow with Jinora on his shoulders laughing.
"Can't catch me!" Korra yelled.
"Oh yeah?" Sean asked jumping on her before all three rolled in the snow before laughing.
"Oh those three." Senna said making Katara smile.
"It' good Korra has someone close to her age as a friend." Katara said.
While this was going on Tenzin and the White Lotus were inspecting the ship to see if anything could be found.
"Theres nothing in here. It's all dust and rusted parts."
"Keep looking." Tenzin said before he spotted some old container before opening it.
Inside it however he found som black mask with Red markings on it.
"How curious. I wonder if Sean knows what this is." Tenzin said walking out.
Later
Katara held the mask looking closely at it.
"It's just a mask." Tonraq said.
"I don't think so. Theres some significance behind it." Tenzin said.
"We still don't know why Sean was even in that ship or more importantly how long he was there or whose in those other pods." Sokka said.
"Thats true. I think we need to look closer into it to find our answers." Tenzin said.
"I think you're looking into this a little too deep Tenzin." Pema said watching their daughter playing with Sean and Korra.
"Maybe, but my father would want to do the same. He's living proof we're not alone in this universe." Tenzin said.
"Lets not go looking into too many questions about him for now." Katara said.
Meanwhile
Within the Jedi temple many members of the Jedi council stood in front of a hologram of the galaxy.
A small green Jedi known as Yoda walked to it.
"Found the source of the Tremor, have we?" Yoda asked before Looking at Jedi Master Windu.
"We have actually. The source originated from one of the unknown regions. Here." Mace said pointing at one system.
"That system has never been explored before. How could it originate from there?" A Jedi Padawan known as Obi-Wan Kenobi said.
"Mysterious the Force is. Uncovered something has been, yes." Yoda said.
"Hold on." Jedi Master Mundi said accessing the console. "Odd. I'm also getting a signal from that system. An old one that hasn't been reported since the days of the Old Republic." Mundi said.
"What is the Signal?" Plo Koon asked.
"It's...Impossible." Mundi said.
"What is it?" Master Qui-Gon asked.
"The Ebon Hawk." Mundi said surprising them.
"The Same Ebon Hawk that Revan used to have during the final days against Malak?" Evan Piell asked.
"Yes, Whatever is out there the ship is also there." Mundi said.
"I fear whatever is there could present a danger if left unchecked. I believe we must go and find the source of this tremor before someone with dark intentions finds it first." Mace said.
"Agree I do. Go we must." Yoda said.
Meanwhile
Sean laid on his back as he watched Korra train with Katara.
While she was doing this Sean held out his hand trying to do something but nothing happened making him sigh.
"Trying to do what you did before?" Sokka asked making him nod. "Don't worry. Whatever it is you did it'll happen again in time. You just need training." Sokka said.
Thats when Korra accidently sent a wave of snow at him.
"Whoa!" Sean yelled getting buried before his head popped out and glared.
"Oops." Korra said before laughing making him growl.
"Looks like we're gonna have to cut this short." Tonraq said making them look seeing a storm coming. "Looks like a storm is coming. We'll have to pick up tomorrow." Tonraq said.
"Aww." Korra whined.
Soon enough the family was inside when they heard howling outside.
"What is that?" Sean asked.
"Polar bear dogs." Senna said.
"Sounds like a whole pack of them." Tonraq said before Korra started mimicking the howling making Sean snort before dragging her inside as the doors closed.
"Hey! I wanna play with them!" Korra said annoyed.
"Oh yeah sure thats a smart idea. Play with animals that would sooner eat you rather than play with you." Sean said making her parents laugh.
"They don't scare me." Korra said.
"Oh yeah sure nothing scares you. If anything you scare everything else." Sean said making Senna hold her mouth as she laughed while Korra pouted.
During the night the family slept peacefully.
However Korra heard the howling again making her sit up before getting out of bed and put on warmer clothing and went outside.
Walking outside she was about to go find the polar bear dogs.
"You know." Sean said making her freeze as she faced him seeing him in warmer clothing grinning. "I had a feeling you would try to pull this." Sean said.
"Come on. Lets see if any of them are close by." Korra said making him snort in amusement
"All right. Mostly to make sure they aren't too close by the house." Sean said making her smile before they rushed off.
Soon they came to a clearing before Korra took a closer look before seeing a Polar Bear dog pup walking alone making her gasp before rushing to it.
"Korra, wait." Sean said following her.
"You're just a pup. Wheres your pack? Are you lost?" Korra asked as it growled.
"Korra, it's a wild animal." Sean said.
"We're not gonna hurt you. We're friendly." Korra said pulling out some fish jerky making it sniff it. "Do you like Fish Jerky?" Korra asked as it ate it. "Your not scary. Your just hungry." Korra said.
Sean chuckling before laughing seeing she started running around like a dog around it.
Only for the storm to take a turn for the worse.
"Oh boy." Sean said.
"Which way is home?" Korra asked worried.
"And we're lost now." Sean said.
"Don't worry. I'll save us all. Because...I'm...The...AVATAR!" Korra yelled making an Igloo of snow before they went inside.
"I knew we should have stayed home." Sean said shivering.
"Brr. Maybe some firebending might warm us up." Korra said taking a glove off.
"I wouldn't..." Sean tried to say before she shot up some fire startling all of them. "Do that." Sean said.
"Sorry. I'm not very good at Firebending yet." Korra said.
"In time." Sean said making her face him. "Nothing happens overnight." Sean said making her smile.
"I used to think being the Avatar was going to be fun but it's just a bunch of rules." Korra said before she felt something licking her hand making her look seeing the pup making her giggle. "That tickles." Korra said making Sean chuckle before they cuddled up around the pup who yawned.
Next morning
"Korra, Sean!" Tonraq called out.
Both parents when waking up noticed the two were missing and went to find them with Katara and Sokka.
"Tonraq over there! Doesn't that mound look like someone waterbent it?" Senna asked.
Tonraq was quick to rush to it before waterbending it and found them held up together to keep warm along with the pup shocking them before they woke up.
"Mmm." Sean said rubbing his eyes as Korra also woke up.
"There you both are." Tonraq pulling them out. "Do you two have any idea how worried we were?" Tonraq asked.
"I can't believe you both spent the entire night alone in that storm." Senna said.
"We weren't exactly alone." Sean said as the pup came out.
"Naga was with us." Korra said as said pup barked.
"Naga?" Tonraq asked.
"She got separated from her pack last night." Sean said.
"So she needs a new family. Can I keep her?" Korra asked.
This made both parents look at each other.
"Ask your mother/Father."
"What kind of answer is that?" Sean asked before Naga pounced him making him laugh as Korra did the same.
"You know. Every Avatar has had an animal guide in the past. Perhaps Naga is meant for Korra and what a high energy girl like her needs." Katara said.
"Well...I suppose." Tonraq said seeing the three play making them smile.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt." Senna said.
Meanwhile
A light cruiser suddenly came out of hyperspace above Earth.
"So this is where the disturbance came from?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Nothing is known about this planet but the scans indicate sentient life that are just now beginning to advance in technology." Qui-Gon said.
"So they may want to join the Republic then." Obi-Wan said.
"Possibly." Qui-Gon said.
"We're beginning our decent now."
On the surface
Korra and Sean were playing with Naga while Pema held Jinora in her arms as she slept.
"So they went out in the middle of the night and found Naga?" Pema asked amused making Senna sigh.
"Korra's always doing things like that. At least Sean keeps her under control most of the time." Senna said before they felt a breeze making them look up and gasped seeing the cruiser arriving before landing as everyone rushed out to see this before the ramp came down before Mace and the other Jedi walked out.
"Who are you?" Tenzin asked.
"We are Jedi of the Galactic Republic. We're responding to a disturbence we felt a week ago." Mace said.
Thats when Sean and Korra looked into the crowd of Jedi before they spotted Yoda.
"Little green man." Korra said getting their attention.
"Korra!" Senna scolded making Yoda laugh.
"Amusing the mind of a child is." Yoda said making most laugh.
"You arrogant Waterbender." Sean teased making her stick tongue out.
"So why are you here?" Tonraq asked.
"We sensed a disturbance in the force. And came to investigate." Mundi said.
"The force?" Tenzin asked.
"Perhaps this could better explained inside." Mace said.
Later
"So these Mid Cholrians live within all of us and those who have beyond 10,000 of them are force sensitive?" Tenzin asked.
"Yes. And we sensed a great disturbance in this sector of the galaxy." Plo Koon said.
"When was that?" Katara asked.
"Last week." Qui-Gon said.
"Ah, then he's probably who your looking for." Tenzin said looking at Sean who sat down with Korra and Jinora.
"Why do you think it's him?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Because last week we found him in some old ship that had clearly been here for some time." Tonraq said.
"The Ebon Hawk." Mace said.
"You know that ship?" Tenzin asked.
"It belonged to one of the greatest Jedi in the order during the days of the Old Republic. No one has seen him or his companions after the Fall of the Sith Lord Malak." Qui-Gon asked.
"Sith?" Katara asked.
"The Opposite of the Jedi. Where as to our goal is to protect the innocent, theirs on the other hand is to conquer it and rule all of life in the galaxy. But they have bene extinct for a thousand years." Qui-Gon said.
"So you found him in a stasis pod?" Mace asked.
"If that what it was then yes. Our world is primitive since our technology is just now begining to advance the way it is since the last Avatar created Republic City." Tenzin said.
"Avatar?" Qui-Gon asked.
"On this world people use the power of the elements. Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Everyone can only use one ability if they are benders. There are those with bending and those without. But only one being on Earth can use all four elements. The Avatar. My father Avatar Aang." Tenzin said
"And where is he now?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Passed away four years ago. When the Avatar dies however though he or she is reincarnated in the next nation in the Cycle which right now is Korra who has only just begun learning her abilities. It takes years of practice to master all four elements." Katara said.
"I see. So where is the Ebon Hawk?" Mundi asked.
Leading them outside to where it was they went inside.
"Clearly it's been crashed here for thousands of years." Plo Koon said.
"Why here though?" Tenzin asked.
"Could be Revan was trying to hide something from the Sith during that time. Their numbers back then were very high until the rule of two." Mace said.
"Thats sounds rather limiting and foolish." Tenzin said.
"Yes, but better that than the thousands that came before." Mundi said before they came to the pods and walked to one before Mace used the force to open it up.
Inside was a human male in his mid 30's. He had white skin and brown hair before opening his eyes seeing them.
"Whoa!" He yelled pulling out a blaster. "Who are all of you?"
"Calm down. We're Jedi of the Republic." Obi-Wan said.
"Oh. Sorry. A little jumpy after being put in stasis for who knows how long. Name's Carth Onasi." Carth said.
"The same Carth who fought beside Revan during the days of the old Republic?" Mace asked.
"Old Republic?" Carth asked.
"You've been gone for a little under four thousand years." Mundi said.
"Oh. Uh yeah the very same. Everyone else is also from that time." Carth said.
"What were you doing here?" Tenzin asked.
"We were trying to get away from the Sith since they were hunting Sean down." Carth said.
"You know him?" Tonraq asked.
"Yeah. He's Revan and Bastille's son." Carth said surprising the Jedi.
"Thats why they never came back. They started a family of their own." Obi-Wan said.
"Well, thats part of the reason. Also because they were looking for something in the form of a Holocron." Carth said.
"Holocron?" Tenzin asked.
"Their used to hold valuable information that only force wielders can obtain or open." Qui-Gon said.
"Yeah and he found the origins of the Jedi code. Basically the part where forming attachments and using emotions were forbidden was falsified by another Jedi who saw it as a weakness." Carth said.
"You mean someone in the order changed the code to his own view." Mundi said surprised.
"Yeah. Revan looked for it till we found it. Then they came." Carth said.
"Why were they after Sean to begin with?" Obi-Wan asked.
"I assume because he's strong in the force." Plo said.
"Not...Just because of that." Carth said.
"Meaning?" Mace asked.
"The Sith poisoned him as a baby so Revan merged all the DNA of every species in the galaxy into his own. All their strengths but none of their weaknesses. Using old Sith Tech. Say what you want about them but they build impressive tech." Carth said.
"So the Sith wanted to turn him into a living weapon." Mace said.
"Yeah and Bastila got taken and Revan sent us off in stasis to hide him." Carth said.
"Where is this Holocron now?" Mundi asked.
"In the cargo hold." Carth said.
Days later
After inspecting the Ebon Hawk the Jedi freed the others in stasis.
One being a blue skinned woman Twe'lik known as Mission Vao.
The second was a Mandolorian known as Canderous Ordo who served Revan out of respect for his power and tactics.
The third was what surprised most who were new to this. A wookie known Zaalbar who swore a life debt to Revan in his time.
The fourth was an old Jedi known as Jolee Bindo who was an experience warrior.
The fifth was another Jedi who was known as Cathaar known as Juhani.
Finally were two old droids. T3-M4 and HK-47.
Right now Sean and Korra were getting their blood taken.
"What are you doing?" Sean asked.
"Just a little experiment. Now go on." Qui-Gon said as they ran off. "Obi-Wan." Qui-Gon said on the comms.
"Yes, Master?" Obi-Wan asked.
"I'm sending a blood analysis on both of them. I want a Mid-Cholrian count." Qui-Gon said transmitting the data.
"Wait a moment." Obi-Wan said getting Korra's first. "This is impossible. The readings are completely off the chart. Over a hundred thousand. No one has ever had that high amount." Obi-Wan said.
"What about the boy?" Qui-Gon asked.
"Getting it in now. Oh my." Obi-Wan said.
"What is it?" Qui-Gon asked.
"His are ten times higher than her's. Over a million. How it that possible for both to have such a high count?" Obi-Wan asked.
"For Korra I can assume this Avatar Cycle most likely is the cause. Theres still much on that particular subject we don't know. As for Sean, I believe because his father combined the DNA of every known sentient species in the galaxy into his own DNA. Or at least thats the most likely theory." Qui-Gon said before he spotted someone entering Tonraq's home making him frown. "Who was that?" Qui-Gon asked Katara.
"That must be Unalaq. I had heard these two have issues because of their beliefs." Katara said.
Inside Unalaq was arguing with his brother.
"The answer is no." Tonraq said.
"You would deny her a teacher in spiritual matters?" Unalaq asked.
"She's four. She's not ready for that sort of thing. Besides things are changing now." Tonraq said.
"What these Jedi? I've heard about them. Hence why I'm here. I am taking the Avatar back with me to be properly trained." Unalaq said.
"You don't have the right. Tenzin and the White Lotus won't allow it." Tonraq said making him frown.
"Oh but I'll find reason. Especially when I bring up your past mistake." Unalaq said making him glare.
"Then I'll bring up the incident." Tonraq said shocking him.
"You swore you would never speak of that." Unalaq said.
"I'm tempted to right now. I wonder how well you could hold your position if that information ever became public." Tonraq said making him frown knowing he was backed into a corner since while in his view what Tonraq did was terrible what he did was just as bad. And this time his father wasn't around to save him from ridicule.
"Fine. But this is not over." Unalaq said leaving making him smirk.
"That must have felt good." Senna said.
"More than you know." Tonraq said.
Walking outside however though he spotted Sean with Master Yoda before he started making the snow float with Yoda instructing him making him raise an eyebrow before approaching.
"Good, Do or do not, there is no try." Yoda said.
"What does that mean? How can you do something if you don't try...Ouch!" Sean yelled holding his head as he whacked him with his cane laughing.
"Question your master, you will not." Yoda said laughing.
"Young man how did you do that?" Unalaq asked.
"Use the force he did. A powerful gift this one has. Stronger than his parents he is." Yoda said. (Oy his lines are beyond confusing)
"Unalaq, leave him alone." Tonraq said.
"Since you won't let me have the Avatar I will be taking him." Unalaq said.
"That is not going to happen." Mace said making him glare.
"And why not?" Unalaq asked.
"He and Korra will be trained by the Jedi when they are older." Mace said.
"Absolutely not! You will not take the Avatar anywhere!" Unalaq said before grabbing Sean. "And he is coming with me." Unalaq said before he started choking as Sean glared at him.
"Calm yourself young on." Yoda said as Unalaq breathed again.
"That is why we need to train him. Sean and Korra have the highest count of Mid-Cholrians in their system. They can't control it right now and with his being at the highest count next to her's it makes him dangerous to himself and those around him with his emotions. Hence why you can't train him since you don't know how." Mace said making him glare.
"We'll see about that." Unalaq said leaving.
"Jerk." Sean said.
"Sense dark intentions, I do." Yoda said.
"As do I. Tonraq, What can you tell us about Unalaq?" Mace asked.
"He's unfortunately my brother. Leader of the Water Tribe and forces his ideals on the North. Can't do much here though since the South is further away from his grip. But if he had his way the whole world would be spiritually enlightened." Tonraq said.
"And why does he want that?" Mace asked.
"He thinks people shouldn't have a choice and be more like him since he thinks everyone is flawed and should do what he wants." Tonraq said.
"A Sith mind he has." Yoda said.
"You could say that. He's never cared about anyone but himself." Tonraq said.
Days later
Sean and Korra were fast asleep as Senna watched them.
"So when do you plan to take them?" Fire Lord Zuko asked.
"In a couple years. Normally it's common for the Jedi to take future younglings from their families but in Revan's Holocron he left personal opinions that it wasn't entirely necessary. So Tonraq and Senna are free to come if they wish or just visit." Mace said.
"No doubt they'll be coming with." Canderous said.
"What about the Ebon Hawk?" Sokka asked.
"We'll send in a larger ship to bring it back for repairs." Mundi said.
While this was going on however though a large ship ship from the water arrived at the docks before a large number of people got out.
"We're finally here."
While everyone was talking HK's started beeping.
"What is it?" Carth asked.
"Notice: I am detecting a large number of individuals moving to this location." HK said.
"Wait how can he know that?" Tenzin asked.
"He's got a sensor in him to detect movment from a certain distance." Carth said as Canderous loaded up his weapon.
"Lets go." Canderous said as they rushed out.
Outside they found a large number of people at least 50 outside.
"Who are all of you?" Jolee asked with his lightsaber out.
"I am Zaheer. My friends are P'li, Ming-Hua and Ghazan. We have come for the Avatar and the boy." Zaheer said pulling out a sword.
"Not happening." Canderous said before aiming his blaster at them and started firing.
Mace went up against Zaheer who pulled out his lightsaber before cutting Zaheer's blades making him gasp before yelling in pain as he was stabbed at the side before being kicked back out cold. (Kinda sad he thought he had a chance against advanced technology)
Thats when an explosion occured next to him making him look seeing P'li glaring at him before another explosion occurred from her.
"She's a combustion bender. Take out the eye on her head!" Sokka yelled as Mundi went against her before hitting the butt of his lightsaber on her head making her yell as she couldn't use her combustion bending anymore before she tried to firebend him but he used the force to block her before she was hit on the side by Carth before being stunned.
Plo Koon and Fisto went up against Ming-Hua seeing she was armless before water arms appeared on her.
"It would appear this group is more skilled than anticipated." Fisto said as they avoided her attacked before she was stunned by Carth.
Ghazan pulled out a few large rocks before they turned to Lava which shocked them before Canderous stunned him next before the others were killed.
"What the hell was that? I thought you said there were only four elements?" Canderous asked Tenzin.
"There are. But what they did also represents their elements. Combustion bending is technically fire bending. It's just very rare and difficult to master. Lava Bending is still technically Earth Elements." Tenzin said.
"It's just superheated." Carth said.
"Exactly. Though I'm surprised this one managed to Waterbend without any arms. Thats nothing short of impressive." Tenzin said.
"Good thing there weren't any airbenders here or this might have actually been difficult." Canderous said.
"I think Unalaq is the one who sent them. Think about it. A few days after he tried to take them both this happens. The timing was too close." Carth said.
"I agree. We'll need to take them both off world faster now. He'll have no authority to take them away from the Jedi temple." Mace said.
Later
Sean and Korra along with her parents were getting on the cruiser to leave Earth.
"Where are we going?" Korra asked.
"Somewhere else for a while. You'll both still get training and learn some new things." Senna said as they got on before it took off.
Authors Note: And now we head over to the Jedi temple. I have special surprises in store for Next Chapter. And of course I will release the Harem list and yes there will be some crossover girls but ones I can fit into the story easily because in Star Wars anything can go if you use your mind right.
