Deku was known throughout the world after his success in taking down perhaps the most powerful group of villains in superhuman history. Despite his success, he and his wife, the zero gravity hero Uravity, live humbly in a small cottage north of the cities. They still have their professional hero jobs as well as managing the All Might Hero Agency.
But today, he was off-duty, attending to one of his more favorite people to take care of.
The sounds of a fragile infant crying out could be heard as the veteran hero approached her crib.
"Hey, my sweetheart. What's the matter?" The father gently scooped up the child in his scarred up arms and held her tiny frame against his chest.
The baby cried for a moment longer before finally settling in to a much more comfortable position in her father's embrace.
Having had some experience with children and babies, Deku, known civilly as Izuku Midoriya slowly rocked and bounced as he marched around the room.
His wife would be there too. Unfortunately, their days off do not always align. She was back at their agency managing the other heroes on their patrols. Izuku admits, she does a better job in that regard than he can.
So for today, it is his responsibility to tend to their month-old.
"Papa?"
Izuku looked up from the infant to find a small boy with lighter shade of green hair than his own peeking in the open doorway with a large Deku Hero themed backpack on.
"Yes, sweetheart?" He asked his oldest son, just barely four years old.
"Um... C-Can you wait for the bus with me?" He asked timidly. His hands hid between his back and the backpack.
"Of course. Just one second." He took a second to grab a small sunhat for the baby girl and carried her outside, walking with his hand (or rather his finger) wrapped tightly in his son's hand.
It was warm and sunny outside as they stood on the street corner waiting. Izuku's daughter scrunched up her face under the hat while his son rubbed his shoes together. It was not his first day. In fact he had been attending this Yochien since he was three. He just inherited the combined reserved and shy nature of his parents. Not to mention, his own Quirk did not kick in yet like some of his classmates already.
"You'll do great, Sachi!" Izuku told him. "And your Quirk should come any day now."
His son, Sachihiro nodded silently as he held on to his pack's straps.
Not long after, his bus finally approached. The small town their home was nearby had an excellent Yochien program for preschool age children. And the best part was the bus. Not something many have in the cities.
As it made its stop and opened the doors, Sachi grabbed on to his father's leg.
Izuku sighed but kept his smile. "C'mon, my boy."
"Do I have to, Papa?" Sachi pouted.
Izuku's heart squeezed in his chest. He cleared his throat and placed his free hand on his son's shoulder as he crouched down. "You'll have such a great time! And when your Quirk comes in, everyone will notice you."
Sachi shook his head.
Izuku sighed again. "What would Mommy want you to do?"
He looked down. "Mommy wants me to be strong."
"That's right. And so do I. And so does Reiko." Izuku leaned over and kissed Sachi on the cheek. "I'll see you in a little while."
The little boy gave his dad a tight hug and then reluctantly got on the bus steps.
Izuku lifted his daughter, Reiko's fat baby arm to make it look like she was waving goodbye to Sachi.
"I love you, Sachi!" Izuku called.
Sachi waved back with a small smile through the window. And then the bus departed.
"Now, little one, let's get back inside." Izuku said to his baby as he began to carry her back to their home.
As they went back, he had a faint feeling they were being watched. His Danger Sense Quirk buzzed in his mind as he shut the door.
Without a word, he placed Reiko back in her crib then silently walked out into the open kitchen and family room space.
There, in the doorway, stood a tall muscular woman with thick strands of hair that almost seemed to defy the laws of gravity as they slithered around her head.
"I have to admit, you're much more pathetic in person than I expected." She hissed with a femme fatale voice that had both authority and seduction on her side. She wore a simple business skirt and jacket and her hands, while at her sides, were flexed with sharpened nails.
Izuku stood still, slowly giving his feet a defensive stance. "Mind telling me who you are breaking into my house like you own the place?"
"Oh, my dear. But I do own the place." She smiled.
His quick glances toward Reiko's bedroom did not go unnoticed.
"Don't worry. I'm not here for her." The sinister woman said. "I'm here for you." She purred.
"I don't think so, ma'am." Izuku glared. "You are in my house. You will gain nothing from this."
"Sorry, boy. But it's not up to either of us. Now shut up and hold still!" She suddenly lunged at him with lightning speed. Her clawed fingers outstretched to his face.
Izuku reacted with lightning force of his own, dodging her advance to the side and quickly grabbing her middle.
"My my! You sure are moving fast there." She complimented before twisting around in his arms and pinning the palm of her hand on his forehead.
And then it was all over.
He tried to move. Tried to break away. To shove her off. To blink! But he had lost all control over his body. It felt like the few times Hitoshi Shinso had brainwashed him. But even now he felt detached from his own mind. From One For All. Like he was drifting off to sleep.
And yet, as she pulled her hand away. He let go of her body and stood at attention like an action figure fresh from the box. Like a lump of clay ready to be sculpted with.
"Deku." She addressed him.
"Yes, my mistress." He answered back robotically.
"The Champion is ready. If you wish to compete for my lord's challenge, I order you to destroy the Champion." She said.
"How will I know who this Champion is?" He asked.
"He'll be the only one strong enough to face you." She stated. "Destroy, kill, break. Do everything you must to draw him, and anyone foolish enough to fight you, out."
"Yes, Mistress Mindress." He replied.
"Oh, and before you go..." She approached him swaying her hips before kissing him directly on his lips. His appearance then changed. A suit formed around his body, similar to the one he already wore as Deku. Only, it glowed dark purple with pink trimming. A mark grew on his forehead as his eyes glowed a bright hot pink with electricity.
She pulled away and smirked. "Not bad. Not bad at all. Now go."
Izuku bent down before jumping up, straight through the ceiling and the roof out into the daylight.
The woman smiled wickedly before tapping her wristwatch. "Step One is complete, my lord."
