Fool's Game

This is my first story. It is based in the COTE world, But I got quite bored of seeing many stories with a very "mastermind" personality, and all these people who play from the shadows. So how about the opposite? I know most definitely, Ayanogod is far above this character, but this should make things quite fun, taking the COTE world in a different direction.

For this story, we have a new OC, who I decided to name "Hinantsu Nanase", and he will be the center of the story up until Y3(Y2 for the main storyline.) As a good bit of this story will be taking place in the year ahead of the main story and all, I will be pretty far away from the main plot other than important events and things that changed due to our OC's nature. He has his own "antagonist" build-up, so we will have to see how that goes as the story progresses. This story down the line will get very messy in some darker topics, I will give chapter warnings, but this story is for a reason, rated M. I won't reveal all of his past right away, but in a similar manner to how Ayanokouji's past has been slowly but surely been shown through. I won't do much explaining except for climaxes, please enjoy the story.

Keep in mind that since they are a full year ahead of the main storyline, other than well-known characters like Nagumo, Kiryuin, etc. I will be taking creative liberty to create some OCs to keep the plot running. I am doing most of this on the fly, so I would appreciate all criticisms I might get along the way. I want you to remember that there will be times where I don't properly write that someone's dialog was them thinking, so all thinking lines when wording their thoughts will have ^these^ bordering them.

I will put the bio for all OCs I make at the end of the chapter.

Chapter 1: Predicament

The time is 7:45am, after being relentlessly assaulted by his younger sister, waking up, brushing his teeth, and getting ready in a fancy suit and tie, Hinantsu struts around, feeling rather peppy as today, was the day he was destined to join the geniuses of ANHS…

Or so he thought. He did amazing on his interview, had some A-Tier Grades, and seemingly the perfect student.. so why the hell was he assigned to class B? He, sobbed out in the open for hours, attracting a crowd outside the headmaster's office. That's when, a white haired girl with an truly cocky smile walked towards him, and began questioning him..

"The hell's wrong with you?" The girl spoke. He didn't even bother to respond to the question of a so-called inferior being, then grabbing her by the bottom of shirt, asking which class she was in. In a very cocky manner, the girl introduced herself. "Fuka Kiryuin, Class 1-A, you?"
Seeing this girl who he believed to be very much below him, a full class ahead of him, he sobbed harder, saying "heenaahn-zuuu n-nanase" he said, blowing his nose on her skirt, receiving a strong palm to the head, "What class are you in, snotty? I should report you for harassment" she spoke. Hearing this, Hinantsu looked even more depressed, begging for her forgiveness, which she seemed to enjoy quite a bit. Then she asked again, this time asking him to properly introduce himself. Hinantsu without a second thought, jumped up and yelled, "The star of this school, the genius of geniuses, Hinantsu Nanase!.." in a more depressed tone, he continued, "Class 1-B…" Without another word, Kiryuin broke out laughing, bashing him with insults. She jested on and on, continuing to crush his ego. Eventually, realizing he was attracting quite the scene (and a bad one at that), he made a flashy exit, chatting madly about his superiority and what not, with a certain student, brunette colored hair, and quite the scar had sighed sadly, noting he was still very much "A pain in the ass".

Nanase rushed to his dorm, embarrassed, not at the fact that he basically got chewed up and spit out by Kiryuin, but at the fact he revealed he was in class B, as he pouted. He ended up trying his best to prepare his next act, but he didn't know much about his class at the time, so he simply decided it would be best to retire for the day, heading to bed, he slept soon after 6PM, an odd time to sleep.

Nanase wakes up in a bit of a panic, after a dream where he yet again was embarrassed by Fuka Kiryuin , with an angry shout, he rants on, literally to no one on how he ended up unfairly being placed into class B, but as luck would have it, his next door neighbor, was also in class B, hearing him shame and curse out the headmaster.. infact, she was recording it.

As morning rolled around, Nanase depressingly took a walk of shame to his class, seeing his destined enemy, Kiryuin on her way to her class, he shook his fist angrily ^That flat chested demon...^ Arriving at his class, he's met with some glances, before realizing he had one tool, and one chance to gain his god-like status he yearned for.. his stunningly amazing face, and well-toned body, he quickly realized, he could play the nice guy for a bit.

Soon, lunch break eventually comes, and the teacher, who previously introduced himself as Jun Yotsuka, left the class, quickly giving Nanase a chance to assert himself. Quickly, Nanase introduced himself in quite the flashy manner: "The star of this school, the genius of geniuses, Hinantsu Nanase!", receiving many disgusted looks and hearing some people bicker, and started coaxing everyone into giving introductions (Despite the fact that he didn't care to listen for their names), quickly, he realized he was going to have to start from the bottom, as a rather loud but small student stood up before his turn, commenting "Is this the kid who was making a scene at the headmaster's office about being above class B? He lookin' down on us or some shit?", quickly, students from his clique agreed, beginning to take shots at Nanase, playing the videos recorded of his wild ramblings, Before he could even act, his plan got ruined. Before he got to defend himself, Lunch was already over, and everyone was staring daggers at him, for insulting them, and more importantly, because he kept them from eating their lunch. He was in quite the predicament and was less than enthusiastic. ^This will be one hard fuckin' year.^
