He heard the door creaked opened slowly. His eyes fixated on the heavenly figure entering the room.

He watched as the figure walked closer and closer to him towards the bed.

His eyes finally managed to capture the woman's flawless features as she closed the gap between their faces.

It was none other than his beloved wife, Padme Amidala, approaching him with a wide smile plastered on her face.

He could feel his cheeks flushed red.Heat rising not only to his cheeks but to his entire body.

She was close.Very close.

Very close that he could feel her breath on his face.

Her breath made him feel alive again.Afterall, her breath was really his only air.She used to be everything to him.She was his world. He was just living in it.

His body shook as she gave him a loving kiss on his forehead and then his cheeks and then his nose and then his whole face.

He felt her fingers ran smoothly on his forehead then to his cheeks. Her gentle caressing sends shiver to his whole body.

"Thank you for taking care of the babies, Ani. You're definitely going to be the best father in the galaxy. The same as you have been the best husband I ever could've wished for in my life."

He failed to register her words as he was too drawn to the beauty infront of him.He melted in her touch.

He wanted to touch her too.

He wanted to tell her that he loves her.

But he couldn't.

She then got up from the bed, walking away from him.

He immediately craved for her touch, her presence, her love, and…her.

He could never get enough of her.

His heart longed for her, begging for her to come back and stay with him on the bed until his heart is content although he knew he didn't deserve her love.Well, it would never happen anyways.Because she's…

"Lord Vader."

With that, Vader's eyes snapped open.

dead.She's dead.

So It was a dream…a…dream?

No. It couldn't be. It's impossible.

Padme's death was about three years ago.But why does he only dreamt about her now? It couldn't just be a dream. If he were to dream about Padme, he would dream about her since the day he lost her, the day she died.Yes. he never dreamed of Padme when he sleeps. In the rare moment which he sleeps of course. As If Padme herself doesn't want to appear in his dream despite of how many times he thinks and imagined her.As if he doesn't deserve to have Padme appear in his dreams. And he accepts that.

But why now? Is the dark side trying to tell him something about her?The dream felt so real.Too real. No, siths don't dream.Siths only have visions. Thus, it's certain that the dark side is trying to tell him something about Padme. Is there another way to bring her back? Or Is she still…alive? No, It couldn't be.She is dead. His master said so.The news of her death was well spread across the galaxy. The holonet was flooded with the recording of her funeral which Vader couldn't bring himself to watch.Had the stregth and audacity to go to her funeral.Until now, he couldn't even bring himself to visit her tomb. Not because he doesn't want to, but because he is a coward.Lord Vader,is a coward and a failure when it comes to Padme Amidala. It's great that no one in the galaxy knew except the emperor.Or else everyone would knew how miserable and suffering Darth Vader is.

It had been years.Years of him trying to forget her.Not because he had let go of his feelings for her.No, he would never ever not love her. 'I love you' was a promise he said to her and he would never break his promise. He would carry that promise to the very end of his life.

Because no matter which side he's in, the lightside or the darkside, he would always love her.If he would get the second chance to choose what side to follow, he would choose to be on her side, no second thoughts.Vader or Anakin, he would always and forever love her.

But if he really loved her, why did he killed her…How could he possibly killed her? Padme Amidala, the love of his life, was killed by his own hands. The very reason who swore to save and protect her at all cost was the very person who killed her.Her death which was caused by himself was the very source of Darth Vader's rage and hatred. He loathed himself for what he had done to her.It would haunt him until the very end of his life.

So no, Vader desperately wants to forget everything about padme not because he doesn't love her anymore but instead, it's the constant pain of remembering the fact that he killed her.He of all people. The guilt, the anger, the hate, the suffering. No other life form in this wholewide galaxy is suffering as much as he is.Although everyone couldn't see it.Because he is suffering in the inside.Inside that suit.Because no one knows that inside that black suit is a destroyed, scarred body.Inside that miserable body was a very soul.A broken soul. The soul of Anakin Skywalker.Which is masked with the machenary and ruthlessness of Darth Vader.

Anakin Skywalker have had his time. Now it was Vader's.

"Lord Vader, you seem troubled.Anything on your mind you wish to confess?"

"There's nothing of your concern, grand inquisitor. However,I'm growing anxious of how you and the others are handling Kenobi so far.Do not to test my patience, as you know what happens if you do so.I want Kenobi's whereabouts right away. And If you fail me again, be ready to face the consequences.I have more important complications to take care of."

"Understood, my lord.It will be done."

Darth Vader's words were clear. His patience was on the edge after knowing the inquisitors had lost Kenobi again.

Right after the grand inquisitor took his leave, Vader's commlink beeped.Vader walked towards it with hope that it won't show figures of any other admirals that would plead for forgiveness after their unforgivable mistakes and failures which later on they would have the audacity to make fake promises of improvement and success. He wasn't having it right now.He just wanted to hear good news.

And to his pleasure, the commlink showcases a figure which he hoped to appear.

"Lord Vader, I'm Colonel Alva Brenne.I'm sure the emperor had talked about me.Do you wish to meet me now?"

"Right away, colonel."

He cleared his mind and thoughts from Kenobi. He must take care of something far more important.Something he desired far more than killing and destroying his former master.

It was the very thing he determined to do these past three years since the day he was striked with Palpatine's force-lightning for the first time.

The very thing he is determined to accomplish.

Bringing her back.

"Come on in, Agatha.Thank you for the lovely gift."Padme said while acceping the flower bouquet from Agatha.

Agatha then walked quickly inside the house and then around the house like she was having a house tour.

"You have such a lovely house, my dear. How long have you been staying here?"

That question seems to trouble Padme as she shifts uncomfortably from the main door towards Agatha. She was lost in her thoughts.

That question is the same question that had been lingering on her mind since the day she gave birth to the twins. When did she exactly came here? She actually had no clue where she was.How long she was here? But what's important is she have her family here, right?

"I'm not actually sure how long we've been here…After I gave birth to my twins, everything seems…different.Everything seems unreal…

Padme's eyes were on the room where her husband and their twins were sleeping. This does feels strange..unreal.Why does it feels this way? It shouldn't felt this way.She is here, with her husband and her twins. She should be happy and light, not..confused.

Padme's eyes then glanced to Agatha who was staring at her with a concerned look.

Oh no, she must've think I'm a freak. Padme thought.

"It's nothing, really.Look, I'm really sorry if I acted weird or made you uncomfortable. It's just..I have a lot in my mind and I-"

Before Padme could finish her words, Agatha rushed towards her and suddenly hugged her as an attempt to comfort and soothe her.

"Oh don't worry dear, I know that feeling.Don't trouble yourself, you were just exhausted from nursing the twins. That's why your mind seems to be…hazy."

"I hope I would come back to my senses soon enough. It feels like I'm in a prison of my own mind." Padme confessed.

Agatha caressed Padme's arms while guiding her to the kitchen.

"My dear, there's nothing wrong with you.You know what, let's not waste our time talking about this nonsense.Besides, it seems like you have a lot of work to do here.Let me help you.I'm a great cook, you know."

"Do guide me then, milady.I have a whole council to feed tomorrow." Padme told her.

"Council?" Agatha asked curiously.

"The jedi council, my husband's fellow friends. You see, My husband and I planned to throw an open house tomorrow. That explains these bunch of groceries. We invited so many people.Including my parents, my sister, my nieces, my friends…"

Padme felt her heart ache at the mention of her family and friends. It felt like it had been centuries that she had met them. She missed all of them..deeply.

"That sounds like a whole planet to feed, dear.Better start now." Agatha announced with such enthusiasm.

"It's really nice to have an energetic and helpful friend like you Agatha. Can you arrange the ingredients first? I need to wake up my husband."

"Sure."

With that, Padme left Agatha and walked to her room.

As she slowly open the door, she took a moment to capture the lovely view of Anakin still having the babies on both of his arms.

She then woke him up gently.

"Anakin…Anakin wake up.Wake up my love.Ani, wake up."
